i like this read but I think if LC = town and screenplay = town then arcbell is doing like strictly exactly what mafia would do in that situation (and then falcon sort of sheeped it to a lesser degree).hollowkatt wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 1:23 amI have played a few games with him yes. I don't have enough experience with him to know if this is "normal" town behavior, but I like these posts.
I town read attitude a lot of the time as I find wolves tend to not want to make big waves like that early in the game. Late in the game sure, set up the thunderdomes and what not but at this stage of the game srceen being a wolf and playing like this is basically forcing the other wolf to bus him for cred b/c there's no way he's escaping today yeah?Spoiler: show
Srceen is playing super aggro, drawing attention from several players, and then using that attention to drop reads. It's something I've done as town before and something I rarely see wolves do.

Only looked at MafiaU, Deck Mafia site, and SC2 games that he was mafia (Checked his town games on MU as well) and yeah...not really a smoking gun there for him being mafia.

Re: Ducktales Woo-oo D1
if screenplay flips green I lean towards arcbell being red over LC for reasons but its like 55%/45% not a hard tell or anythingsrceenplay wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:44 pmArcbell wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:23 pm In lieu of an explanation from srceenplay, here's what I think happened:
1. srceenplay jumped into the game without reading the setup description, not realizing there weren't any power roles
2. srceenplay decided they wanted to soft claim PR / informed for whatever reason
3. srceenplay is doubling down on the whole thing, trying to convince us it's a completely natural series of posts, possibly because they think it's scummy to admit they were trying to trick townAnd this is what you want to push?Arcbell wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:40 pmLike there are different contexts in which things may be considered 'information'srceenplay wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:33 pm Maybe let other people chime in then i guess.
I feel like i'm the only one who has given information this game. If that can't be seen![]()
In the base context absolutely everything is 'information'. Every word you type. This is what you're trying to get us to believe you meant. if it is though, there's no need to remark on it.
Normally people mean setup information when they say it like you did though, which it is proved you have none (if you're town)
LC or Arcbell scum in one of those two. Can't decide which one is genuine and what one is milking it. Maybe both.

I did take what you said into account and iso'd Srceenplay again, I do find the portion of "getting attention on himself" there, since it ended up getting me and Arcbell talking to him.
The problem is that I've seen wolves do this type of stuff in games, specifically to me, multiple times.
You did mention he's trying to use it to drop reads but what I'm seeing is-TLDR: Scumread on Mizery, then 1 wolf between Arcbell and I, which he already started the tunnel on me his first post of the game so no progress there.Spoiler: show
There's no townreads in that, there's no real solving in good faith as far as I'm seeing. It's just attacks.nbd you didn't step on me. You made a read, I made a different read, you questioned it, I responded, we both learned. I learned you may have a good read on srceen and also learned I may be projecting my own biases on other peoples play.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 1:50 am If I stepped all over you on that post I apologize, however I have a ton of confidence on Srceen being mafia based on past experiences.
I'm leaning you town for the answer, it actually pointed me into several directions to read into Srceen for, I think we just have different viewpoints in this situation.

Ah but then they would know that wolves would know that that is bad threater and will point them out as wolves. So then a wolf wouldnt do that. There are no PR's, there is no gambit. So why out of all the RVS talk was that what got you going? You felt attacked? Hate the play style? Looking for a reason to vote someone? There is information there that can be used to help sort you.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 10:22 pmI've done it a few times this game already to make sure what I'm saying makes sense.
That's the thing, there's no PRs in this setup so even trying a gambit saying "I'll save info for later" doesn't make any sense here.Arcbell wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 10:13 pmIf he's town he's probably noted that you're supporting my push on him pretty hard, and that while he's been indicted as a liar and a trickster pretty hard, there isn't actually much in this argument that makes him maf. Town can easily decide to feign n0 informed or whatnot. So he might be wondering why you haven't noticed that or aren't trying harder to determine his alignment.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Mon Apr 11, 2022 9:59 pmYeah that did happen, but I don't get what he was going to figure out based on that since it's you scumreading the same guy that I'm scumreading...which is him.
Like I don't understand his philosophy at all here if it comes from a town perspective.
But this is all pure speculation because again srceenplay's entire thing this game is saying he's giving information while actually giving no information or feedback lol
What's getting to me is that he's refusing to out any information in a game with 0 PRs. Then when I'm confronting him about his read on me or my scumread on him, his response is just making smart remarks or they're conversation twisting to try to confuse people.
They're not showing attempts to evaluate alignments of anyone. It's more just being disruptive.
I think it's the first two reasons for you.
Arcbell I see as looking for a reason to vote someone. They give a narrative (doubtful in any world) why I'm scum. They also explain to you why I could be town. They are having conversations without looking for answers and without questioning or doubting their vote.
[VOTE: Arcbell] aubergine

What is your favourite flavour of amorphous concept?srceenplay wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 9:29 amThere are no PR's, there is no gambit.
