That's fine for now, I'm just posing the dilemma though. In a 14er we should expect 3, maybe 4 mafia. A really easy place to hide is in the inactives if you've got a few useless townies who always slank in there. Let town eat itself then cop some bs "I've been busy" bs once stronger town players have been MK'd and chopped, then steer the town right off a cliff.
It happens on my home site fairly often.

You dodged the question, I was asking about the players themselves.

Do you find them (the slankers) to be helpful townies when they're engaged in the game, or are they just net zero no matter when they actually need to be solved?

I'm asking because I don't know the players on this site, and insight from people who actually play here is valuable to me

DrWilgy has awesome reads as villager and we have itg people who know him enough to make a read.
Rondo is another player I won't chop without infos and he lead the town in a game where only a game throw gave the win to the wolves.
WWH i don't really know him, we played but i don't recall of him to have a distinct meta. Maybe @hollowkatt will help

After the last game I played, I'm pretty alright with lynching players who are actively not playing. Like, unless it is promised any zeroposter will be modkilled by EOD, I'd rather we lynch them so they don't become a hindrance later.

I used to avoid touching zeroposters too, but last game I just watched a wolfteam comprised of a zeroposter, a suicide bomb claimer, a player who barely posted 10 times a day and a player who lolcatted the entire game win because town wanted to lynch an active player. So imo we should just punish players not playing the game and then see how we can solve from there.

Sloonei is one of the players I'd expect more to come soon if they're town. I'm willing to push them if they keep being useless though.

Interesting that creature kinda jumped onto it as a push at one rn, when the big picture for me (at least) was getting help to identify which of the slankers are operating within their town meta, and those that aren't.
