the reason why i said i'm a fucking idiot is because this means i've spent the entire game simping hard for both of the wolves and hard tunneling people based on my ego and my disbelief that they would read me incorrectly while letting two of the most scummy players in the history of mafia slide under the radar because they have good tone

to be fair they have hardly had good tone. if sean is in fact a wolf he was absolutely auto cleared by too many people. I had to actually push sean's face into my multiple town lock reads on him before he reacted to them, and that's quite AI (in a bad way) for sean. he voted me but the vote obviously meant nothing, so I almost took it as a joke from him. I still sorta feel like that way, but it's possible it wasn't.

honestly the biggest reason I haven't pushed on sean a lot more this game is that I assume he simply wouldn't respond to me half the time. slankers be slanking and I think a town sean even with less time IRL to play would have a better stance than he does now.

like, the fact that I openly stated on multiple occasions that I was townlocking him very early in the game and he responded to me with *literally nothing* until I put his nose into a compiled list and said "hey. do something" and *then* he half-ass voted me, because he knows that would have been the real tell. sean could easily be scum I just kept hoping he'd stop slanking and actually come play at this point so it didn't have to come to this and I could have had a more developed read

well, they have both been quietly sitting back for the last several dayphases and pushing a POE of me/lily/boquise, while occasionally implying that the other person might be a wolf while making no attempts to push or develop reads on the other. both of them have called each other "outed wolves" at various points but neither of them have followed through on pushing on each other. both of them have called the other one suspicious but neither of them have attempted to put them into their POEs

rondo and seanzie have done absolutely nothing for the gamestate over the last few days and have been quietly sitting back and pushing a POE that is guaranteed to win them the game if they are W/W with each other

can anyone give me ANY reason why i should not view rondo and seanzie as partnered with each other based on all of this? they are playing in an incredibly synchronous way, and their progressions on each other are almost identical. they are both pushing the same POE that would allow me/lily to get killed one after the other. they have both made no attempts to disrupt the gamestate whatsoever

i think that we live in the nightmare world of rondo/seanzie W/W and that me, lily, porscha, and aro are all town. it's the explanation that makes all of the pieces fit for me right now, and it makes so much more sense than the previous world i was theorizing of lily + 1 of rondo/seanzie

from seanzie's side of things, seanzie very briefly pushed rondo at a couple of points throughout d1 and d2 - referring to him as an "outed wolf" and saying that he made the scummiest post he has ever seen

from d3 onward, seanzie stops pushing on rondo entirely, signal boosts a readslist from aro that contains rondo as town, and says that he would resolve me/illy/boq before he would push on rondo. he has made no further attempts to develop his read on rondo, push on rondo, or signal boost any suspicion toward rondo whatsoever. instead, he has consistently pushed a POE of me/lily/boq while giving rondo the cold shoulder

from rondo's side of things, rondo has a few softball interactions with seanzie early in the game, says that alison/seanzie have W/W equity multiple times, calls seanzie an outed wolf, and then suddenly shifts to townreading seanzie for vague and unclear reasons. from here, rondo makes several posts shading seanzie by saying he "wouldn't be surprised if seanzie was a wolf", but he has continued to push a POE of me/lily/boq

At least from my side, pretty much any accusation here is explained by the fact that I have just been busy.

I didn't push rondo at x time because I wasn't following the game closely at x time, and Rondo wasn't the person I thought most likely to be a wolf.

I mean, sure SPF winning the effort contest here, but effort \neq town.

Sorry, it has been an insane week for work. Honestly, I am kind of happy; I've spent way too much time on mafia in the past, and while low-effort Seanzie kind of sucks at mafia, it is nice that I am able to be in a game but still put it down when I need to and focus on my work.
