All right keep your cake RE: Sloonei.Golden wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 6:54 pm I’m not going to vote Sloonei and if he’s lynched and flips the role I think he’ll flip I’ll explain why.
I don’t like G-Man’s vote on me at all, a full no u.
Still don’t trust Quin today but it seems like not many agree with me.
I think the town has an eye on Elo and I don’t expect her survival to mean a free ride, so I’m not voting there today.
Axe is actively harmful to the town. That’s different from being mafia. I suspect a role hint exists here as well. Frustrating, makes me want to throw a vote to eliminate the chaos but my better instincts say, let’s see what happens today and re-evaluate.
I’ve gone back and forth on Vivax today and I’m back to feeling not great, but when I do feel good it’s because of solvey behaviour that I’m not keen to eliminate.
No one else has pinged me beyond a stray eye.
I’d vote Quin today tho.

Yea Axe usually harms the town as town. I can’t recall his mafia game play though.
I’m also back and forth on Vivax he seems both trying to solve and also just trying to just find what will stick.
But you make me nervous. You are brazen in your lack of care for what the norms around role madness might be and why (from a town perspective). It’s a choice, and it’s your choice. I don’t mean to criticise you playing the way you want, but I still have to evaluate where your perspective is coming from.

You’re one of the most active posters and don’t even have a strong suspect.
See, here’s the rub. Unfortunately, as one of Syndicate’s champions from Champs a few years ago, you have a huge precedent. Whether or not it’s fair, I think there’s a high expectation of you. If you’re town, you’re bound to be a valuable asset down the stretch.
I’m just not getting that spark that I expect.
You being here at end of day while you’re the top wagon is frustrating, but not offering a worthwhile alternative is just not a great solution either

Yes I saw sloonei’s defence of Quin and it’s true Quin went in looking for evidence of w/w and modified based on evidence. But he’s the one who has pinged me most with other stuff, and I don’t think ‘trying to build a w/w connection and not finding it’ is inherently town.

Re: Anniversary Game 1 - Classic Syndicate [Day 1]
I'm not about forcing myself to have reads. I will have a suspect when I have a suspect. I have presented some loose thoughts on Vivax as a suspect. I do not object to the Elohcin suspicions. But as for having a clear and definite Day 1 suspect, I cannot offer much guidance.Scotty wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:19 pmYou’re one of the most active posters and don’t even have a strong suspect.
You being here at end of day while you’re the top wagon is frustrating, but not offering a worthwhile alternative is just not a great solution either![]()

yes, top is vivax and second is sloonei, both for previously mentioned reasons. I am waiting to see how things go b/c I'm scared with the movable votingthellama73 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:23 pm Bea, Dfaraday, Eloh, and Lorab yet to vote with about a half hour to go.

I am giving Axe the benefit of the doubt today. I don’t view his stuff as anti town, more than a wild card here on D1.

To be clear, I am less interested in what Quin's reads actually are. I read him as town because of the way he communicated them.Golden wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:30 pm Yes I saw sloonei’s defence of Quin and it’s true Quin went in looking for evidence of w/w and modified based on evidence. But he’s the one who has pinged me most with other stuff, and I don’t think ‘trying to build a w/w connection and not finding it’ is inherently town.

One thing that bothered me about Quin was that he demanded an explanation for why I placed him low on my rainbow list, a request I deliberately ignored, and then he never followed up on it. Like he didn't actually care about finding out the answer. I'm tempted to switch my vote. But will I?

Yes, he just wasn’t so blatant in my opinion until recently.

Low on a rainbow list means bad or good? So the top is the most or least suspect?thellama73 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:36 pm One thing that bothered me about Quin was that he demanded an explanation for why I placed him low on my rainbow list, a request I deliberately ignored, and then he never followed up on it.
