His response to taking best for not voting soneji yesterday is compelling imo. He’s taken on board in-thread coaching but things you’d expect wolfmates might coach him on are absent.
You're lucky I dont think you are partnered with Dennis because this is exatly the kind of thing I would expect a wolf to post about a wolf to get unpartnered

Learn to pronounce
verb
1.
cut the wool off (a sheep or other animal).
"Paul has never sheared a sheep before"
2.
break off or cause to break off, owing to a structural strain.
It might just be a term my friend group use irl with werewolves/mafia/secret hitler/amongus but term 2. Its used in such a way as two wolves taking control of the thread/space and fighting each other loudly and causing town to not have time to talk or raise their arguments and if you're good, do it in such a way to have it targeted at persons other than yourself. So you set up a false state where two loud 'town' argue over if a third/fourth player is wolf or not and set them up to be main wagons while town are bewildered why they lost the game

I think scotty is probably town, but he’s the last town aboard the towncore. He’s hanging on by his front hooves.

I posted to you because I still think you are a civ, and you are putting yourself out there as the town leader but are very focused on specific people still. You can say you are constantly evaluating your town core, and I do believe you are flirting with the idea of others outside that PoE but I do not believe you are seriously entertaining that it is possible.
I’m not mad. Eliminate me but when you get that civ flip don’t just shrug and move on with that list, but actually reevaluate this towncore of yours. I’m on my way out the door so I don’t have time to figure out how many more mistakes we can make, but I’m guessing you maybe get one more chance to get it right after I am eliminated.
Why does your green flip mean their town core must be re addressed?
Ok let’s use Golden’s list as the example since it was him I was addressing there… so I know I’m town, that leaves PoE of 3 people, so unless he happens to be right about all 3 which I’ve said repeatedly I think you are town so I don’t think he is that means he needs to reevaluate some of thoseGolden wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 7:23 pm EBWOP

And there you go @falcon45ca the post above Golden says “Scotty is probably town” therefore I know Golden is wrong and needs to reevaluate. I was a bit defeated feeling yesterday because it’s kind of to a point where I think the town really needs to rethink who they “know” is town before it’s too late and I’d almost rather be eliminated today so they can see my flip and be like oh shit she’s right I need to look at those people instead of just waiting and being eliminated another day

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 4]
I gave up trying to catch up to Tuesday, and apparently I won't be able to completely catch up to Wednesday, because you people annoyingly keep posting when I'm not in thread. I crashed early last night becasue yesterday was an emo roller coaster in here for me, as well as work being even bitchier than usual.
Re New Folks,
Rondo: I thought Bea was civ. I probably know Bea better than anyone else in this thread does. I absolutely did not think Bea was bad. She did not expect she would be in the game (the host said as much in sign ups) then he wedged her in. I texted her to let her know it started when she had not shown for some time (full disclosure I also announced this in thread at the time, so no one would think it was funky). She did not know it had started, between the time she signed up and the time it started her RL became insane. I believe that if she was bad she would have asked for a replacement right away and not tried to play because the kind of time committment a baddie team requires was just not something she could do. But she tried to play, and I don't think she would have done so if bad. She takes her committments to others very very seriously, and she is not a wishy washy baddie. Just my opinion, but I don't believe Bea was bad.
Sooo, I don't think Rondo is bad. Having read parts of what happened after I left work when i was mostly caught up at that point (guys if you're going to quote a giant post 80 times and add 2 words of commentary at the end, can you put that bitch in spoiler tags if possible? ) I can't say I always agree with his viewpoint, but I like how he manages to drag what he wants to know out of people. Also, I have been active in this thread and I took one night off, and feel like I am kinda lost now, I can't imagine what catching up to this thread must be like, so huge kudos to Rondo for jumping in with both feel and engaging. Same to Neon the day before, too.
Vivax: I thought Mata was bad fairly early on, but then I felt bad becasue I knew she was both sick and had a hand injury, so I backed off of it. When I mentioned it early she kinda snapped at me a bit. So I was giving her time to kind of get her groove on. Reading back on her, Marmots rainbow would be a good reason for her to want him gone. Since Golden was also at the bottom of the list, it would also be a good opportunity for a bad team to push towards a Baddie Golden narrative, and when (assuming) he came up civ, be able to discount Marmots rainbow completely.
I went through Vivax' iso, and the first three posts were fluff. He votes in the 4th post,
I am going to follow Scottys opinion on Vivax, since he saw Vivax' civ game up close and personal, and is not apparently seeing it here.
Sheeping Scotty (also think it's a good vote) [VOTE: Vivax] aubergine

I wouldn‘t vote FS with what I‘ve seen.
Do you think I shouldn‘t be sus of Sean, conversely ?
... but then a few posts later, is back to all about Seanzie. He seems to have come into the game with a mindset that Sean was bad, but I didn't get the impression he had caught up. Like the word of the day in the chatroom was , "Seanzies gotta go!", and he took it and ran with it.

I switched my vote to Vivax after this post. I did a post about it but it doesn’t seem like it actually posted. Some weird stuff going on with my internet where it keeps freezing up this pagefingersplints wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 6:58 am I’d prefer the vivax elimination over me though

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
I'm here now. Got sick, but don't make it matter save as explanation for my prolonged absence, thanks.
On my partial catchup so far, SVS and Seanzie seemed unpaired from their back and forth. Seanzie seems to react very strongly to suspicion so far up to page 11. Seems to be very focused on reacting aggressively to suspicion thrown his way. Fast forwarding, worth mentioning that Scotty started questioning me about my vote on him on this day. Could be a possible pairing.
SVS is very focused on summarizing and creating narratives or mental representations of what she sees. That lines up with the townplay I'm used from her, she doesn't seem to jump to conclusions particularly quickly.
Dennis has a very innocent or clueless tone. Maybe a bit exaggeratedly so, would tentatively scumlean this.
Lucy seemed to have engaged maximum humour, snark and rage at marmot for some reason. That's a tone I personally appreciate and have for myself, often. I have found myself unable to read her properly in the past, yeeted her for game meta centric reasons once. Abstain on a read for now.
Golden is less verbose than in the last game he won as scum, and otherwise unremarkable in his words. Coupled with his recent wagon complaint suggesting either TMI or an agenda, this is probably where I'll vote today.
Kate had one post in particular that stuck out to me where she asked what sheeping is iirc. I'd have to backread her other games or use the search function but considering her post volume of about 4k on this site I'm surprised that she didn't know the term. If she should have known what sheeping was, I'd accuse her of pretending not to know.
Falcon gives off the impression that he's not playing at maximum effort. But rather relaxedly so. Almost seemed bored. Going for a townlean pending further info. Tone fairly neutral and nonchalant which is good.
Scotty poked around a lot and still does, throwing in the occasional artsy post. Didn't like how aggressively he reacted to my Seanzie vote. Seemed to instantly want to put me on the backfoot even after knowing I wasn't caught up. Can't have it both ways when you try to be honest with your suspicion.
As an aside, I find myself unable to take Dennis' question at face value here. I'd expect anyone to believe that someone else is participating while they are active and posting. Regardless of the content. So it appears as a loaded question.

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 1]
Potential TMIish reaction from Dennis here. Always a safe play to bug townies about wrong votes.
This was the N1 kill. Probably a good list in places. Especially considering how Golden played around marmot.Marmot wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 12:03 pm Here's that rainbow list that no one asked for. Players are listed alphabetically in tiers.
Town

Dennis
Light Town
falcon45ca
Kate
Sabiplz
Scotty
Null or No Content
bea
DrWilgy
fingersplints
jack shepherd
lucy
Roxy
Seanzie
Soneji
Mafia Lean
Golden
Matahari
And to include a recap on players I haven't talked about yet that I have now sorted into tiers:
falcon45ca: I also don't really trust Golden, albeit might be for different reasons. His vibes don't strike me as hitting the notes of his scum game.
Scotty: Has been active and prodding, and also mostly harmless. I think of the townleans I have, his is the least strongest, but GTH, I do think he's town, and I have seen enough content from him to slot him here for now.
Matahari: Some of her thoughts that she posted in #529 lack direction. That is fine. But I get the feeling that she is pushing herself to talk about players when she doesn't have anything specific to say about them. Soneji in particular.
What's reanimators ? Feel like I'm missing some inside two folded joke here.
Not sure if this is a genuine OMGUS. But I'm likely biased on Golden at the moment. The reaction was :
Why was this grounds for sussing marmot ?
Narrative around D1 looks like caught Golden defending by attacking so far.

Love this post.
And this sass. I think I'm locktowning Scotty here.
Ew post. This is opportunistic sarcasm.
Golden jumps...Opportunistically.
Entire convo at this point was about disrespectful posting in regards to namings like pronouns and 'kiddo' . The difference in reactions is night/day. Most simply exchanged a few headbutts, a few like Kate moderated, but one person voted as if it was supposed to be alignment indicative while not really caring about the whole ordeal. Still seeming to pick Sabi as the culprit behind the conflict. Looking at the chop, it worked.

In any case, he's safe from me, I don't like to eliminate nubs on day one. But i really hope to hear more from him going forward. Or not, if he doesn't like it, that's cool, too.

I need to read Sabi to understand why she's taking votes this fast. Personally, I see myself in Seanzie somewhat, he is somewhat chaotic, and I have always been a chaotic civvie. And at least part of the issue people have with Sean seems to be Sabis read of him. But I don't really think he's bad. And I think perhaps he saw the sincerity in my posts this AM and that changed his mind. Or whatever process he used, I've been deep in a tunnel, and one post someone made, sometimes one sentnce in that post, made me reconsider. In any case, tunnelling someone that hard, and then just throwing the arms up and saying, "Ooops, my bad! I was wrong", seems more of a civvie move than a baddie one to me.
I checked out the Game 2 thread of the anniversary games and Sabi was right about the day one high post count, they had 2k posts on day one, but only like 4500 for the whole game. But most of it seemed to be shit posting, fairly typical day one, just lots more of it. I certainly did not read the whole thing lol, just skimmed a bit. While we haven't had 2k posts, I think we have had alot of content for a super productive game going forward after Day One.

I don't want to kill sean. Him chilling on the sidelines while his wagon chills at 5 votes seems kinda townie for him imo.
Why? I don't know. Gut feeling I guess. I also do think of Sean as an active lurker in games, as in he's kinda always there and ready to respond to something that catches his eye, and that seems to be existing here.
Even an anti-spew theory doesn’t align with unvoting, for me. That feels more like he reached a sabi townread.

Possibly underrated. Bea was very unvocal. This is the only take on her I've been able to spot up to this point.
and/or? Interesting choice of words. Matters little for Seanzie's alignment to me. Still noteworthy.
First of all big oof. But why was self-voting while not self-voting the conclusion? Can't wrap my head around this.

He is definitely more verbose and messy in this game, which is a big reason I’m not gunning for him at all costs. Though it’s funny that you point out the difference and include it in a reason to scumread him.

What does poking around say about me in general? Am I playing off from when we played together last game? I voted you because of your previous slot but also you neglecting to initially answer what you found so towny about splints. “Instantly” is not how I’d describe it but that’s ok.
I can’t tell if you find me suspicious from this. Obviously, you then voted Golden over me so…I guess not?
