i am tired and still not up to speed, sorry.

what's your take on the game state so far? how are we doing? what would you like to see happen over the last ~24 hours of day 1?
1. if you're town, then i want you to townread me in the next 24 hours. i can't snap my fingers and make it happen, but that's my wish. this is partially for selfish reasons and partially because i feel like it'll be good for the threadstate if we can work together. having as many people to bounce my reads off of as possible is really important to me in a game like this

2.the gamestate is fine. i'm concerned about the fact that we've been hearing from the same ~10 voices or so, when this is a 20+ player game. i feel like there are a number of people who have been able to weasel out of explaining their reads by just outright ditching the thread for long periods of times, and that makes productive dialogue a lot more difficult than it would be if we had more centralized communication. i don't really feel like any valuable towncores are forming today and i also don't feel that people who ~are~ universal townreads have any real sense of cohesion - feels like everyone is just kind of blindly stumbling around shouting their own suspicions right now

so uh....maybe the threadstate isn't as good as i thought, lmao, but most of this is probably par for the course for d1 of a game of this size. the best thing that could happen in the next 24 hours is if the players who have been largely silent today came back with strong and well-substantiated thoughts, but i don't think that's going to happen
im not worried about the gamestate because if the active voices are like sloon, you, esooa, me, none of these are players that are weak to just letting slankers slip by. low posting people like rej have already copped heat.

Town core seems to be in a fairly decent process of forming with people like falcon, esooa, epi all taking on the consensus town role but also not every game needs a town core anyway

mm, i think the comment that most closely reflects that mindset is him joking about being mischop bait - it's the type of joke that usually does require a certain level of comfort to be able to pull off, and i get your point about that level of comfort not meshing with what his mindset would probably be as scum (ie: nervous). i think the other posts you brought up are mostly NAI, but i'll think it over
I'm not seeing the genuineness in the post of rej's that was quoted. Seems pretty par for the course for rej, and in line with the stuff he had in SI where he was mafia.

I have caught up. That was less eventful than I thought it would be.

@staypositivefriend could you briefly explain your rej and urist reads?

The more Mac stays away from the thread and the more he throws out surface level hot takes like "alison + sloonei wolf" with no follow up or bite to them the more my scumread on him is strengthened. Town Mac is a force of nature and I struggle to believe that if he had those reads genuinely he would be content to sit back and let us control the thread. This feels more like scum Mac trying to surface level replicate his typical town aggressiveness. I endorse sloonei's vote there in spirit but am not moving because I think BK is the most certain hit.

Assorted notes: LC's challenge on Sloonei about stuff like the moustache emoji and fart.sx feels town. I agree with Sloon that Martin giving his own name 6 times is townie.

I assume your asking for my Sloon tread. Looked good early, but I agree with Mac that his LC and Dom reads look TMI'ey.

This is the second time that Alison has reached into my brain and put my words into the thread as her own.

But to clarify Alison's position: I don't suspect Mac for his activity level. I suspect him because his reads have felt a bit aimless, lacking conviction, etc. He's a world class provocateur when he's on the ball, but his reads so far have been of the wet noodle variety.
