I'm not exactly a PerC'er. I'm a MafC'er. I only started playing recently, my first game was on QuickTopic with a bunch of people from PerC as they were moving to the new site, MafC, and then I started playing on MafC, so I never actually played on PerC.

There are a few exceptions, so this wouldn't be *the* exception. When I look at Epi's posts, they're pretty bad, and more than once it's been "oh yeah, but he doesn't like bussing." It's only one factor, not a religion. He's not anti-bussing like Glorfindel is anti-lying. And none of that means Epi never places a final vote on a teammate. Maybe he just didn't expect the Made wagon to take off. Maybe he didn't actually come back online until after the chop. MAybe he did come back at the last minute and thought "it will be very suspicious if I move my vote now!"

why are epi’s posts bad? what’s bad about them? i feel like i’m not seeing it because to me they seem like standard town!epi posts. am i missing something?

Hally, how do you tell the difference between Town!Epi and Scum!Epi? Do you have tells you look for?

the coffee tell is a tell owner of a lonely heart came up with to catch dizzy in one game where he was scum many moons ago. apparently dizzy used to mention needing coffee a lot when he was scum as a way to preemptively excuse his posts being subpar. the coffee tell has since come to apply generally to players saying things like “i’m so tired rn” as they post. it’s thought that scum are more likely to make those kind of excuses than town

but mostly it’s a meme at this point

i don’t know how moving his vote around a ton is supposed to be wolfy though. who cares if he doesn’t have a reason or doesn’t say it? sometimes villagers just do stuff because they want to and they can. changing votes a lot without a lot of justification is >rand town though. scum tend to vote less often and feel the need to over-explain the votes they do make. so unless that kind of voting is a known scum tell for epi specifically it’s villagery if anything, not wolfy

Ok, that's fine. I don't always understand why people give town and wolf leans, and I don't know that I believe what you said about scum is at all true.

Every time anyone has asked him about his votes, he just quotes the ISOs he did last night, and then I go look at the ISOs, half the points on the person are good, half are bad, and Epi's conclusion is incomprehensible. When he voted for me, I asked him why, and he did this, but I swear he could have also decided to townread me and give the same evidence for his townread. Same thing with Marmot, his justification for voting Marmot was his ISO from last night, but it seemed to me like his Marmot ISO is as middle-of-the-road as it gets. Again, I feel like if he choose to townread Marmot rather than vote Marmot, he would have just quoted the same ISO and expected us to come to a different conclusion based on it.

If Martin is scum, I do think Epi is a reasonable partner for a couple other reasons.

1) Martin vote for me early Day 2. He didn't explain why, but later admitted that he sheeped Epignosis thinking Epi had a good reason, and not realizing Epi was OMGUS voting. That's how I interpreted this anyway. I could see this coming about because Epi said in chat that he could mischop me today. Martin could just be sheeping the townplayer who did a bunch of ISO's last night, not realizing that the player with a bunch of reasons to vote a bunch of people actually made an unreasonable vote. I think it's the former, but am willing to be convinced otherwise.

2) I explained to Martin why I thought Epi was teammate-compatible with Made and asked his opinion. Rather than answer my question, he responded by telling me I could make a better argument for juliets being Made's partner. This post looks like a deflection.

i think if martin actually did sheep epi that’s more likely to mean they aren’t aligned. ime teammates don’t openly sheep each other’s votes because they’re self conscious that it will make them seem aligned. scum are more likely to sheep town than fellow scum

Has anyone even done an iso of seanzie yet? I'm keeping up albeit not retaining everything, but I don't remember anyone seriously actually trying to sort seanzie one way or the other. A few little things, sure, but I feel like he's not gotten close attention.

I have no reason to think he's scum, but he's definitely in that mid-range of presence level where good wolves try to hide themselves. Dunno. It's probably worth a look later.

I've just read through seanzie's posts and though I don't agree with him on everything I didn't find anything that really makes him a top suspect in my book. His reasoning for the most part looked good. I did not agree with him on his early tutuu read but he seems to have abandoned his belief that she is mafia. I liked his reasoning after the Day 1 elimination about Guillo being town but like him, I have reversed my opinion on that. I understand his Epi read because Epi does not do a lot of things that help people find him as town - and I'm not sure about Epi myself at this point. Actually I admire Sean's pushing of Epi, not even LC is doing as much pushing as Sean and this is Sean's first game with him.

The only reluctance I have at this point is just a little nag that LC and Sean could be working together as teammates to get rid of a good player, Epi. LC is tricky tricky and Sean is unknown to me. It's just a little nag though, not a big one at this point, it's just something I need to flesh out more.

Well, it could be a pointless power role aside from self-confirmation but generally power roles aren't pointless

especially since theres apparently a vig here I would imagine that means all the power roles will have some effect, and unless that image was sent via virtue of special mechanics in the setup

I doubt there's 0 utility in it, and given there's a vig already I doubt it has kp attached to it.

However, if I didn't know there was a vig, then it would be reasonable to think it has some sort of KP since the bike in the picture, with the descriptions I gave, is a lot less..."alive" than the ones you see in the host post pictures of bikes, especially since there's no seat on the bike.

Since I think people who think more straight-forwardly are more direct in their efforts to try and decieve the town instea dof being a bit fluffy and distanced a bit / having no direct interactions with anyone in particular
