I didn't want to say this outright but at this point if I get nightkilled so be it. It's a cool role, but it's a waste of time if ends the civs game.

Okay, I'm going back to this post because it is unsettling to me. Golden is really pissed at the poll's outcome, so he claims to have written it, which gives him the authority to tell people which one they are supposed to vote for. And if option 6 was such a bad idea, why did it get 13 votes?
I just don't know if I buy that Golden wrote the poll. Although if he didn't, this was a pretty bold move.

I agree Luna looks pretty bad. In an almost "too scummy to be scum" kind of way.
You're not wrong, DDL. This has sort of been my meta since the beginning. Maybe one day I'll get better at throwing out "quality content" and stop looking so scummy. But I have not yet arrived.
So far I was playing the game without knowing if I was civ or bad.
Turns out Im 3p.
This makes me think it took DDL longer to get his pick in and therefore longer for Mac to write his role. It makes sense he is 3P so that it doesn't mess up the balance of the game. I believe him.
But doesn’t he? He’s claiming rezzer, essentially. That’s a major balance shift.
I'm not a rezzer, I only exist ro nullify another specific ability.
You just made me think of The Number Zero. Scotty said he was going to target me last night, but I have had no indication of any effects.

@Scotty I like your description of Luna's post. In fact I think it can be applied to her whole ISO. Pretty much all of her posts are "dry and unbuttered" as far as I can tell.
Her day 1 posts focus on dunya acting "shady" and particularly in reference to Wolbre and the Boobquest (The Syndicate's hottest new band). The following is utterly empty nonsense:
Lunalee wrote: ↑Fri May 18, 2018 1:28 pm
I've never seen so many players listed in a poll. It's a bit overwhelming. I'm deliberating on whether I should I vote for wolbre before he becomes immortal, or dunya because she's acting super shady, or someone else entirely?
What do you mean acting super shady?
Just the passionate responses, and calling people out. But maybe she's being dunya.
You think a baddie would be more likely to be passionate and call people out?
We're talking about dunya here, so yes.
Like.... what?? Let me recap this exchange
luna: "dunya's acting shady"
ddl: "how so?"
luna: "blah whatever behavior but actually that might just be what dunya is like idk"
ddl: "so that blah whatever behavior is scum behavior?"
luna: "for dunya it is"
?????? am I reading this wrong or did she literally just contradict herself?
then she makes a weird vote on Jay for one of his callouts on dunya. and she switches her vote to epi so it would matter. whatever this is so blah. nothing from her sounds natural or productive or anything. completely bland to a gross extent. also imo her vote+explanation for option 6 was probably the worst one that I saw, it felt fake and so did her above acceptance of the result/current poll state.
Luna, do you have any reads or anything interesting you can contribute because it seems like the role you are playing is "cardboard with a side of empty space"
I thought this Luna analysis was apt. I'll put a vote on Luna right now. [VOTE:

You've never engaged with me or my content in any meaningful way, so how you think I look is uninformed at best. It's still pretty much based on a reaction to a single post that didn't say what you claim, and then relying on second hand accounts of what I've been saying without reading it.
Yep, I won’t deny I’m mostly uninformed on half the game- I still have yet to read probably 20 pages or some shit. If I actually stop to think about it, and now assuming you boobytrapped option 6, I can see the blatant delegation from a civ perspective. Maybe I’m hasty in calling you bad.
And... yikes. This post is a great depiction of this emoji:

I found another bad word.
It isn't. One perceives the change of heart and then judges the authenticity. I have questioned that in your case on multiple occasions and in this one occasion for Scotty. The language employed during the change and the posts referenced among other things facilitate these inferences.
For example, you at one point quoted two portions of one of my posts in which I said the same thing and used them to justify your wavering on a point -- such that your interpretation was so bizarre as to seem fabricated.
You can't ball, you dribble like a four year old, and your perimeter defense is atrocious.

Hey guys I'm a survivor role. Don't lynch me.
I also have the ability to bring some of the vanished players back which could be useful to town.
My initial reaction to this is one of concern. This came one literal minute after Colin posted a huge ISO and vote on DDL. I am also being asked to believe that DDL made nearly 100 posts without even knowing what he is playing for.
This is a game which by design encourages tomfoolery and shenanigans -- including silly fake claims, WIFOMs, and why the hell nots. DDL, you are a terrible soccer player.
My plan was to play like a civ on day 1. If I got a civ role, no problem. If I got a baddie, I'd shut up about it and reap the benefits of being legit uninformed for a while.
Well that plan didn't work much, since people started voting menin droves in day 2. But getting a survivor role went against it too. A survivor should claim asap. So I did the most obvious thing and claimed.
A survivor shouldn’t claim ASAP.
The most useful thing most survivors can do for the town is to take a nightkill for them. By claiming early, a survivor removed this possibility and sets up a scenario where the town will take a nightkill for the survivor instead now that the scum knows not to shoot the survivor, which hurts the town.
Additionally, it is known that survivors are scum at mylo and mafia can false claim survivor.
The correct townie response to an early survivor claim (unless the survivor claims something like rezzer) is to lynch the player who claimed survivor.
Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 9:07 am

I thought Scotty's "180" was pretty natural, based on his apparent catchup. He wasn't at the part yet where Golden said 6 was boobytrapped, and when he found that out, he understood and changed. I was adamant about going #6 until that point as well.
JJJ, you are a cool and nice guy. What happens if you miss an insult? Punishment?
His initial reaction to discovering the alleged boobytraps was criticism. He had to revert from that stance. The specific wording he used about "maybe being too hasty" just looked yikes to me too. We'll see how it goes, he's not getting lynched today.
I don't know about the other thing, but what I do know is that your BBQ ribs are WACK.

No they're not. You must be thinking of someone else. My ribs bring all the gluttons to the yard.

Yep, I went full 180 in a matter of minutes. But your smearing that I did so because going after a loud player wasn’t going to work is pure bullshit. New information cane to light that I missed and that changed me.
Also you stink
Your words are bad words. You acknowledge a pattern change in your first sentence and then tell me in dramatic, colorful terms that it cannot be viewed with concern.
You are a fart bubble.
Actually I acknowledged a pattern change when it happened. It surprised me, even!
And that wasn’t colorful when I made it. Are you sure you didn’t just colorize it for me?
You gon see what you gon see, insult queen. I think it’s smearing because you’re putting your own assumptions behind why I stopped suspecting golden. Lc alerted me to the fact that it was probably boobytrapped, and then I thought of golden’s Motivations based on that new piece of evidence.

Today would have been so much better if we were lynching 3 people
Agreed. I have three actual suspects and they aren’t on the poll.
