Daisy definitely seemed frustrated. She also seemed as if she was ready to give up, which isn't something you should really do if you are town.

A mafioso shouldn't give up either. What does this mean to you? Is Daisy good or bad?

Bad. I get the stress of everything else going on, but everyone has that feeling too. It's not just you. You can be hella fed up with the game, but you also don't have to give everyone else permission to bother you. It would almost be better if you could not dwell on what others say or think about you.

I spent all afternoon writing. So... I could vote for Jay or Mac and tie it up with Mongoose or I can seal it on Mongoose. I don’t think Jay is bad, I’m not decided yet on Mac. I think I’ll toss. Y vote on Mongoose, I feel like she is more likely bad than the other two options close to her.

Let's analysis this post for a moment. (thanks dunya for clarifying the tied vote thing) She's saying she'd be fine with lynching Jay or Mac or Mongoose. But she feels like Mongoose is more scummy than the two.

Depending on how early indigo and Mac placed their votes on Mongoose, we can maybe read into that as actual suspicion of Mongoose's behavior rather than an opportunistic push, but there was also talk about wagons being townie ones, so there are also opportunities for scum to off vote, which would potentially support my suspicion on Matahari. But it's also getting late...as in if I stay up I won't be getting 7 hours of sleeps.

Owner awarded some credit to Mac and indiglo for being earlier on the Mongoose wagon than Daisy and I. It's took a bit of a mental workout to produce this credit.

Coming from that, I guess I'm just speechless.

This dramatic vote was cause for my temporary Day 1 vote on Owner. It looks quite like a mafioso trying to capitalize on the suspicion a civilian was fielding in a chaotic first day. She attributed it to questionable self-preservation which is of course silly. Luna looks great here. Owner admitted she didn't have all the information later.

You've linked these four together across various dynamics. Please describe why they'd make sensible teammates in the combinations you have suggested.

First, there's a problem here, because 4 is too big here number wise. But you don't always get the numbers right especially on your first go, but with help, I would assume that they can't all be connected.

So that supports it not being those 4. Matahari and Mac were the other noticeable ones in my mind who engaged with me when I placed my vote.

The thread was kind of stale, and then my vote caused more of a chain reaction of posts and defenses.

You wouldn't necessarily want to do a similar action to what your partners were doing, unless one was under a lot of pressure.

Matahari deciding to avoid the main wagon stood out to me. Maybe cause the vote was on me, but also, it felt as if he wasn't trying to pick a side or get noticed.

I feel like if I don't pay attention to Matahari I'll lose track of them. Their presence didn't seem very strong until that moment. It also felt as if they were kind they might just be sheeping others, but maybe I'm just tired and thinking of counting some sheepies.

Owner offered some soft criticism of Matahari on D2. I'm not thrilled by the "maybe" disclaimers.

The poll order isn't the same as the chronological order. I believe the Mongoose votes went in this order: indiglo ==> Mac ==> JJJ ==> Spacedaisy

My vote still stays on Spacedaisy. You have owned up to your vote being less informed; I think I might want to sit on that thought for awhile. Or maybe I should take a look back at it and see if it was more of an opportune moment or what not.

At one point, I thought you were voting for me, but then the next moment it looked like your vote was on Mongoose, so count me confused.

Depending on how early indigo and Mac placed their votes on Mongoose, we can maybe read into that as actual suspicion of Mongoose's behavior rather than an opportunistic push, but there was also talk about wagons being townie ones, so there are also opportunities for scum to off vote, which would potentially support my suspicion on Matahari. But it's also getting late...as in if I stay up I won't be getting 7 hours of sleeps.

Owner again voices suspicion of Matahari and again tacks on a disclaimer of sorts.

How is it opportunistic when my one vote rallied a bunch of people to take action? Before my vote, everyone was sitting around in tiedville. My one vote created reads. An opportunistic person would want to get away with something rather than draw attention to themselves.

It was your timing, more than anything else. It also felt like a pounce, that came out of nowhere. But I could be mistaken, wouldn’t be the first time.

Since JJJ educated me on the new way of approaching a mafia game, I’ll update my list of suspects. The people I’m antsy about are Daisy, Indiglo, and Owner (although I’m a little less antsy about her after reading her posts). These are based on getting an uneasy feel about their day one vote posts, mostly.
I am blank on JJJ, Mac, Elohcin, and Rey (hi back, Rey!). I feel like Rey is town, but really can’t be positive.

I’m very out of my depth here, everything has changed so much. Little things like bandwagoning, for instance. That used to get people in so much trouble, and now it seems to be the preferred method. Role playing- that’s new for me too. Not having watched the show, I don’t always catch when people are role playing. So I’m having to go with old school methods. Gut.
I’m really not sure about Rey at all, old school Rey participated more as a civ. But reading back on him, he is not really participating so much as just posting. I’d like to hear from others what they think about him, to get a better perspective.
The three who make me a little uneasy, it’s because I felt like they were avoiding real commitment to scum hunting. Their day one vote posts were evasive and seemed like they had a hard time placing a vote on someone they knew was a civ. As in, being mafia, you have to be careful not to look like you were going hard for someone who will be revealed as a civ. That may not make sense, sorry. That’s just a gut thing.

Mata voiced suspicion of Daisy, indiglo, and Owner on D2 and explained it above in the highlighted area. That explanation is rather vague, and I wish it didn't arc broadly over all three of them as some collective "they". I could assert that the notion of "evasive voting" could also apply to Mata herself, given that her Day 1 vote ended up the only one on Owner.

I have calmed down a lot about Lunalee, Nutella, and you. I am trying to give Owner some trust because of her recent posts, but she is not on my trust list yet. You are not square on the trust list either, but at least you make posts that sound like you are really searching for answers. Everyone else is sort of a blank for me, at this point.

The "trying" wording here made me chuckle; it is that "so yikes it might not really be yikes" sort of thing. A mafia teammate would definitely try to find a reason to trust Owner. I don't necessarily take anything from this.

I think their suspicion of me looks authentic in this game. This is the only game I'm concerned with when I make this read. Luna particularly moved her vote to me and endangered herself in the process. That's suggestive of a genuine suspicion. nutella isn't a slam dunk, but I like the cut of her jib as they say. I understand why she suspected me and kind of expected it frankly.

I spent all afternoon writing. So... I could vote for Jay or Mac and tie it up with Mongoose or I can seal it on Mongoose. I don’t think Jay is bad, I’m not decided yet on Mac. I think I’ll toss. Y vote on Mongoose, I feel like she is more likely bad than the other two options close to her.

This is the post that led me to lynch Owner at the last moment. When I voiced a "yikes" about Daisy's D1 vote explanation, Owner hopped on my shoulders and said "yes, I'll have a Daisy vote please". She left it there through EOD. To me this reeks of opportunism and speaks to Daisy's innocence. Owner expanded on that later when I informed her that Daisy was the last Mongoose voter. Owner turned that into a greater reason for suspicion. It all looks bunk. Owner gave me a break for being clueless but didn't afford the same luxury to Daisy. Owner wanted Daisy lynched.

A mafioso shouldn't give up either. What does this mean to you? Is Daisy good or bad?

Bad. I get the stress of everything else going on, but everyone has that feeling too. It's not just you. You can be hella fed up with the game, but you also don't have to give everyone else permission to bother you. It would almost be better if you could not dwell on what others say or think about you.

Owner was not moved by Daisy's frustration for reasons that really don't even seem relevant to alignment.

Daisy provided substantive argumentation to assuage the concerns Owner had presented. I think it looks mostly like someone trying to convince someone else of something that isn't being discussed outside the thread.
