There is one decent way of narrowing the POE pool, but it requires a lot of work. I will likely not have enough time during this night phase to finish it all, but perhaps the seedlings can be planted.
Interactive analyses of all POE candidates isolates compatible and incompatible teams (as best as the analyst can tell) and may facilitate the removal of a player from the pool. It's the ambitious matrix work I have done in a few past games. I'll provide a template chart.

Fill in the blanks. Check every 2-way interaction, decide how compatible the two are as mafia teammates, and indicate that in this chart with a color (green for not appearing teamed, red for team-indicative, orange for team-compatible, yellow for [no, yellow sucks, you're now allowed to include yellow]).

In recent memory a lot of his has been. I'd also like to hear what your reads are of everyone else apart from how people have treated you. There's value in the reads you've given on that front, but a different approach would help.
i appreciate what you are trying to accomplish with this request. I really do....but you are asking me to play the game in a way that i have never done. I am always been a fly by the seat of my Dickie's type of player. I've never been one to make detailed ISOs of everyone. I appreciate that people play this way, but I don't find it fun personally. Im far too scatterbrained for this style of play. I know there is a need for it in the game and i am appreciative of those that do play this way. I have just always been more reactive than proactive.

Wait! Why is nova voting for himself? He has been really strange this game. If he wants to vote for himself, he can get one from me too. Thank you for giving me a concrete reason to vote you, nova.
linki, with Jay. That is exactly what I thought. Glad to know I read you right

And I would say you don't care abotu Chuck's alignment because you know it won't hurt civs that much to get a mislynch Day 1. Even when civs win, they usually have a misllynch Day1.

Then again, he might be more inclined toward being an influential force if his teammate is plumetting toward a lynch. I don’t have a clear sense of how exactly the voting played out.
The speedchuck wagon had swelled to 4 votes at its peak I believe. A few others had 2 each, including Jack and nova. I decided to move my vote from speedchuck to Lunalee:
This made it 3-2-2-2 with speechuck in front (colonialbob had voted Luna first about 2.5 hours earlier). Then about 15-20 minutes later, nova moved to Luna and an avalanche followed him. I recommend you review the progression starting from my vote.
Thanks for this recap, Jay. So Nova looks pretty darn good then.
leetic wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 12:09 pm
One thing I found interesting is that, with my switch to the Jack wagon, votes were 4-5, meaning it would be easy for scum to flip the lynch if they wanted to. Get, for some reason, they didn't.
There are a few potential conclusions that can be drawn from this:
1. Scum was already on the Jack wagon, and thus couldn't switch.
2. Scum wasn't around during EOD.
3. Jack himself is scum.
If conclusion 1 is correct, that's not a good look for reywaS, and likewise with sabie and conclusion 2. Thus, I think either of them would be good targets for D2.
I like this train of thought. I like the way you play, my friend. Your posts get to the point and are easy to digest.

grievances with Elohcin are resonating too. She was close to correct in her assumptions about my strategies, but I don't know why "indie" was in her mindset. Early in games, I think mafia members are generally more indie-conscious than civilians.
Indie came to mind because you didn't seem to care if you were lynching a civ or baddie. I was thinking made you just need someone, anyone dead. And you were trying to get everyone rowled up and participating to get make it a fun go for you.

I thought I was on to something. At least I got some of it right.

Parting words if I die: don’t be lynch wimps. Don’t default.

Harriet and the Matches
Oh now naughty, naughty miss
You did not heed the fire's hiss
After all that, you never learned
You learned nothing after what the fire burned
So listen now, and listen well
Lest your faction wind up in hell
Each Night you'll be tempted, tempted so
To play with your matches again, and go
Go to two names who may be killed
And if one of them is powerful and skilled
In your excitement you'll dance with glee
And once again burn to death, you see?
But the victim-to-be will live on to play
Except you will be dead, dead, dead, okay?
It is now Day 2. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

He chooses two names and if one is killed they survive and if they gave a power he dies in their place? Is that right

No no I get it it's not a general protection he just dies in place of anyone else who is powered... I think?

My two biggest suspicions were rey and sable, so [VOTE:
reywaS] aubergine since he's active and more likely to respond to the pressure.

Nutella, I am sitting here trying to figure this out as well. I think you got it. He picks two, if one has a power, he dies instead. So did mafia kill him or did he die b/c of his power. I have no clue It is confusing. Epi can you give us a clearer description of Jay's role?

Yeah, I read it as some sort of conditional bodyguard.

A whole hour without posts? It's definitely different without JJJ...
I'm gonna do a more in depth look of some of the suspects.
