TSP seems to think that you are Cecil, and that he had special reason to know that, which you would likely know about. I don't want you to role claim, but I'll ask a more general question: Do you have reason to doubt the way Elo flipped?

Main pro: He sounds honest. And I want to believe him, because I'm empathetic like that.

Main cons: Could be Marcus. Won't share information about multiple claims. Things that he is saying just don't add up. Reads Elo well enough to believe she must be bad, but didn't know her gender. There were a few other pings throughout his posts, but can't remember.

As we are in dawn, and I fear death, I offer the following:

I'm eying TSP, INH, and--to a lesser extent--Epi the most coming into this lynch. Epi less so, although I was suspecting him more before the last lynch, so he's still on the lynch, even though he made me feel better. TSP and INH I'm feeling not at all good about.

What is his implied role? I'm having trouble following.

For the record, there are two roles at least that interact with Cecil at night. TSP can't be those, or he's be dead. Then even other roles might affect Cecil by chance targeting, which is then something that might affect the broadcast. So... not impossible.

Playing without role claims is weird.

I was figuring Dana. I can't figure out what other role would be able to switch a lynch. I'm also including what powers would make sense of civ roles with secrets. Occam's Razor tells me not to trust him, but he seems so earnest.

That's a complicated question, and not entirely a known answer. The answer itself is also kind of complicated. But, as a really short answer, Kevin might be Cecil's double from a different reality.

I have zero recollection of playing in a game called Romance of the Three? I must have been killed off early? And I hadn't even checked into the game when the first insanification happened, I believe, so I'd say that contexts matters if you are using the past to combat the present.

Plus, this line of thinking ignores that a baddie team is a TEAM, thus you just need one member to have played one game, and one member to have played the other.

I don't find you suspicious, Timmer. Of all the people on here, I'm not (currently) concerned with you. I don't really have a read on you one way or the other, but I think you're more likely to be civ.

And that's exactly the point I was making, and the reason I included both lists.

linkitis: So, (living) players who were in both Romance of the Three and Blue Velvet (assuming INH provided an accurate list): INH, Wilgy, Timmer, and Rico. Also Dom, who was the mod for Blue Velvet.

And, having just scanned the beginning of blue velvet, I now see that Rico also made up poppy as a self-imposed thing. So, both are not just things that the player was cursed with, but something that they both started doing on their own. So, it really has to be something who was involved in both games.

Rico voted (for inh). Likely was silenced.

OK, I hesitated on this, but I need to say this. I am pretty sure you are a nice person, so I don't think you need to be insulting to people, but you are coming off as insulting people. In this example, I don't think Golden needs lessons in how to use curses effectively--and usually, at least around these parts, a curse that would actually cause a modkill would probably be against the rules. And, really, we all know how to use curses.

I am not wrong about game theory because I disagree with you. Epig, actually, does know how to read. And silencing roles aren't inherently bad and a poor role to use in games.

The way you think about games and your strategy are not better than anyone else's. You are playing with people who have a lot of experience--we are not newbies. We may play a game different from the ones you are used to playing on other sites--but this site evolved out of the games that we've been playing for years.

Several of your posts have seemed to teeter on the side of being personal about players, instead of just saying you think they are bad. And it, quite honestly, doesn't compel me to want to read your posts. Please try to be more considerate and generally respectful of other people, and their experience, in your posts. Thank you.

I've been reading you as increasingly bad this whole night cycle. Your posts are way too similar to those in the office when we were baddies together--I'm more and more convinced that you totally were attempting to save LC, and now you're trying to debunk the theory that you did exactly what you did.

Why do you think INH is likely LC's teammate? The start of any suspicion on him was that he was the Faceless Old Woman (or on that team)--that's the Politicians, not Strex. Can you explain why you put him with LC?

It was giving up. SVS stopped trying to get a mafia member lynched and MP stopped trying at all. The mafia was able to take advantage and push a mislynch on MP.

Now, I never want townies to give up. This game can get emotionally taxing but as a townie it's great if we can fight through it as well as possible.

But, to my perspective, giving up is a different thing to self-voting or asking people to vote for you. I asked people to vote for me today. I did it because I wanted to see if they actually would, and because I felt the way they reacted to that could be telling. It did lead me to treat Dom and LC very differently and end up pushing in the opposite direction to where I began.

I took your call for votes as a game of chicken to feel out your accusers, not a belief that your death would help the town. That is entirely different from throwing in the towel/flipping the table.

"Teeth" is in regards to the argument, not your ability. Your wrongness is on game theory and me. If you suspected LC and said as much, that was in one ear and out the other, likely due to style (since I'm town reading you). Do you like to tilt at windmills?

So, you're town reading me, but you don't pay attention to my suspicions? Although, since I do suspect you, I actually get that. But yes, I reread LC yesterday, I read him as bad (tone read mostly), and I said as much, a few times before voting. I would have voted earlier (I voted about 10 minutes before EOD), but I wanted to save my vote in case I needed to protect someone I believed to be civ, but that I wanted to vote LC if all things were equal.

Also: I am not wrong on game theory, I just have a different philosophy about mafia than you do, perhaps because of a different mafia background. Nearly my entire mafia history is in games that are exactly like this. With every role being a power role, not finding out roles for night kills, etc. We think about mafia differently. That doesn't mean that either of us is wrong.

First off, I don't think we've played together before. Or, if we have, not a lot. And I realize that my style is a lot different from what people are used to--especially if they've played elsewhere. So, I take suspicion with a grain of salt as a general rule. And accept that people are going to suspect me for being me. Curious what all the things I've been wrong about are. I suspected that LC was bad and I was right. Nothing else has been proven one way or another that I've talked about. And I was nice to Dom because I've known him for a decade and I consider him a friend. You are right--that is not alignment indicative. However, I read him as civ, which is my honest read of him as a player.

As for the theoretical teammates warning me about going after you because you're a good dancer and I wouldn't bother if I had been warned? Seriously?! First off, I didn't go after you during the day when you were silenced--I mentioned the possibility that you could be bad, which is totally different. Second, if you don't think I have the teeth to go after a strong player on little evidence but noticing small things, then you have clearly never played with me. (and, if you have teammates, which I suspect you do, have not listened to their comments about me, assuming that they have played with me. And, since I suspect LC is one of your teammates, I assume he's given you a good overview). And, my choice of who to go after, in general, is not at all alliance indicative. As many players here can attest.
