I don't mind Sloonei spreading the scrap votes, but let's be real, his day voting record is abysmal. He remained on the LC wagon in the very fast Jack move, perhaps thinking there was still a chance, and it kinda looks like he had TMI on the town lynches and avoided responsibility for them. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, or it's too scummy to be scum, but the pattern isn't inspiring.

All I have for Sloonei is that sometimes his tone seems fine.

Considering I usually just know he's a civilian, this game is an outlier. I don't have remotely that degree of confidence. And you're right that on the basis of evidence, he gets no better. So he's in my POE.

Does anyone disagree with the assertion that a mafia sig would give a crap about the scrap mechanic and not skip every single night poll?

This comes across as extremely ’so there’ to me. I don’t think that Lon Con was actually in any danger of being lunched when he commented this and it’s kind of a discussion closer. It seems unnecessary. If it was a joke, then it's gone over my head and stood out in a bad way.

Just had the idea that this is a Jack & Mac scheme. Max sudden insight at the eleventh hour and Jack innocently not even knowing the lynch was up, while conveniently being several pages behind and watching Animaniacs... just all kind of convenient. Also Mac keeps listing me as town on his list while calling me scum in the thread, which makes no sense.
I think paranoia is a good mark of townies, it’s hard to fake and have it feel genuine. Lon Con’s tin foil hat theory about Mac and Sloonie being the remaining 2 wolves post-JackofHearts2005 lunch doesn’t feel genuine to me. I expect paranoia theories to either be gradually built, or a snap reaction and this is neither. It’s all over the place, I jusy don’t follow the logic that led him to that conclusion.

Also the argument he has post-JackofHearts2005 lunch. I’d expect a townie to accept it and move on once it becomes obvious they’re getting no credit, he doesn’t.

Understandable perspective. But my name is Jay and I don't concern myself with all of that. I make reads in the moment and go with my intuition -- which is ever-changing. Being consistent is the easiest thing a mafioso can do.

It's not my first choice but she shows up for this vote despite not having made any comments this phase that I can see. The evidence is thin, but all we can do is work with what we have. If there's a mafioso in the town core, I struggle to see those lynches happening unless the rest of the players start playing on full blast and clear themselves.
