One question I wanted clarified that I either missed or simply didn't understand is why He-Man is definitely not Horde because he voted for BWT? Weren't both BWT lynches pretty much sweeps with the exception of a few votes on other people? I unfortunately have had no time to go find the voting order to see when he voted, but I was just wondering if that was the only reason he was being given a pass for being a potential member of the Horde.

I see that JC seems pretty certain that He-Man in Snake Mountain, but I just can't get past his vote for Boomslang Day 1. I can't see him tying his own teammate with blindfaeth. And the reason I didn't think Snake Mountain would hex their own teammate is because unlike insanifying, they actually force someone to vote a certain way. To me it seems riskier to pull that on a teammate when they might need every vote to count in any given lynch depending on how the voting goes (i.e. to save a teammate they need every vote to count).

Anyway, people I trust have made a compelling case for suspecting Dom--I agree that civvie Dom even when busy is much more proactive a player than he's being now. And using the "I keep forgetting I'm playing" defense just reeks of WIFOM ("I can't possibly have teammates since I can't remember I'm playing thus no one can remind me I'm playing.")

I don't buy it.

I return home tomorrow and then my life should return to normal (meaning no travelling for awhile, yay!).

On that note, back to studying! I guess. My progress tests have been going really well lately (80-93% range consistently), so I finally feel I have the confidence for this thing. Wish me luck!

I know this will sound really crazy since we know MP is being manipulated. It will probably even draw renewed accusations of agreeing with MP too much, but whatever. DH has actually been on my short list for baddies too. Reading through DH's posts, he hasn't offered anything useful since Day 1. His silence strikes me as a little sinister personally. Even if he's not bad, I would feel much worse about lynching a talkative civvie than a silent one, and as I've stated, our leads today aren't great. He may even earn my vote over FH or BWT, but we'll see. I would still be nervous about lynching him since it seems Snake Mountain wants him dead, and I wouldn't want to play into their hands.

Is it just me on this one, or does anyone feel the same? As a plus, DH can defend himself, so I'd like to hear his response as well.

Or you could spend this time expanding a bit more on why you aren't bad. You said you didn't have a lot of time earlier when initial suspicions from myself and others were brought up. But given that it's the weekend and a night phase, I'd think you would be willing to post a bit more other than "I'm not bad."

Unless something else develops tomorrow, Timmer will be getting my vote again.

Russ, you had a good point about Daisy that she could have voted BF instead of Boomslang. In a way, you would think that would have made more sense than the timmer vote; it depends on your perspective there, I guess. I hadn't thought of that though.

Regarding my response to you earlier it was because you called me a no-show, including me with people who had drive by voted or not eve done anything yet, which was blatantly false and surprised and frustrated me. Ifi am being completely honest with you here, I think you are coming off playing a game as my Baddie BTSC partner and it is coloring your opinion of me in this game.

I am guilty of being lazy, not of being bad.

Additionally, I have no qualms voting Timmer again, my feelings regarding him have not changed.

Linki with Russ gives me a chance to respond to eloh, lol: Indi is a she, and people tend to get a feel for each others' play styles, it's hard not to read into each other too much. Plus, mafia is a paranoid game, you end up reading into everything, lol.

Russ, I frequently vote my own way when I don't feel confident in otherpeople's cases. I would rather go with my own gut than follow someone else's. This is not unusual for me. The truth is, I was going to vote He-man, but I had a linki with him when he posted his defense, and it changed my kind at the last second. I felt that unsure about it. So I went with my gut response to Timmer instead.

To answer people's questions about my Daisy suspicion: It's nothing more than a theory. I do think she has been laid back so far, and that alone is no indication as she has been laid back as civvie and baddie before. This defense made me feel a bit better about her tbh. I think there's still a definite possibility I may be right, but I'm far from crusading with it.

Also, LT's observation was interesting -- I hadn't thought of that. Definitely will have to keep that in mind.

And is it weird to anyone else the level of agreement between Russ and MP? Russ has made some well reasoned points but It seems like he could be riding the MP bandwagon for the sake of being perceived as a civvie. Then again, I see no direct actions to back this up, I just find it a bit odd. Thoughts?

See above. I wouldn't even say I'm REALLY pinged by her, I just had that thought. It just scares me because I could see her definitely doing something like that if Timmer is on Snake Mountain and she is on that team as well. It's unfair to hold her to a higher standard than other players, however, and her defense does make me wonder more so than previously.

Also, I think Russ is consistently contributing and has made some good points. I wouldn't say I agree with him on everything he's brought up, but he and I seem to be on a similar page. I don't think he is particularly worthy of suspicion at this point.

I think it's odd as well. Why would you vote so early in this poll if you weren't paying attention? without saying anything...after completely missing the lynching? It's just off. All we can ask is for a reasonable explanation from her, if one is to be had.

Maybe she logged in and thought the lynching was still going on for some reason, didn't read the new question at the top of the poll, and voted snow dog because that is who she was going to vote for for the lynching. I don't know. Is there a way to know how long she was logged in before she voted? If so, was it long enough for her to realize that the lynching was a tie and long enough for her to read the new posts from Epignosis? Maybe she thought, "Ugh, I am busy but I need to get on Mafia and participate real quick so people aren't suspicious of me." And, turns out that is what is making us all suspicious of her. Who knows. On day one I thought you were all pretty crazy for reading so much into what people were saying when we had just begun the game. Well, this is me doing my part and reading into things

Well I'm new to this. This is my first game. I hadn't even heard of this mafia thing until a few days ago. Interesting to read peoples theories so far but got nothing to add at the moment.

Understandable. What do you think of the Non-Stridor theory that baddies might have spread teammates across the non-Stridor options or do you think that it's null and void? And do you have any idea whom you might vote for yet?
