Don't feel bad, I still very much enjoyed it. There was a point where it felt like sloo and I still had a decent chance of pulling through, but only if it wasn't for quite all the claiming/confirming. Even then I was puzzling out how I could slip through with a fakeclaim, but nova would have eventually called that out. I never explicitly claimed gunsmith but if I had nova would have surely said something the moment there were 4 other confirmed ones (DF and LC sort of accidentally confirmed they were smiths rather than santas) and by the time of Mac's claim I couldn't pretend I was a santa either.


Btw, [mention]novaselinenever[/mention] totally deserves MVP if that's still even a thing we do. Dude you were constantly several steps ahead of everyone else in figuring out the entire game. Not only did you have me pegged from the beginning but you figured out a lot of other things about how the kills etc went down (like the jack vest thing) and you were really the only one to seriously consider Sloonei after he shot speed. I have waffled on sloonei a bit since he started participating more. I still didn't like his first few isos since they felt forced but he did some legit stuff later. But I still lean bad on him (and now yes I think you could be teammates).

I never wanted to lynch Mac. Don't know where you're getting that. I said they were both poor options. I felt bad about ddl from the beginning, during GTH I happened to waffle on him because he had just been in thread finally doing stuff, but I didn't like anything before or since that.

I think your idea of "doing stuff" is just different from mine then. In my view I was influencing the thread to the best of my ability at the time. And my view on jack changed because of his effort, but I was still worried about him a little bit, then iirc even dunya let up on him and I felt better letting him go. Then the dictators got eliminated and he mostly looked bad in connection to them, and then he claimed granny, so he's no longer a suspect barring some bizarre tinfoil/someone else being granny.

Hmm I've been catching up isoing players that pinged me during the tid bits of live interactions I've caught throughout the day. Her reason for suspecting you were pretty weak, she was branding you "nervous" a few hours into the day phase and without much votes on you. I don't think she believes scum!sloonei would be nervous. What pinged me earlier was her apparent problems with Pou's wagon and the state of the "pathetic" lynch poll. It reads disingenuous, and she didn't seem to be making any effort to "not lynch Pou" or Mac. There's been other similar instance throughout the phase like her questioning Dunya's voters. She's basically just narrating the direction that takes the lynch poll without doing anything about it. She's safe in everything she does. Her read of Jack is fake. She's fake.

Well I did respond at least to the points in the second post. The progression of my read on pou happened naturally in response to various circumstances.

As for the first quote, dude I absolutely believe scum sloonei would be nervous. I've caught him before. He didn't show his town spark for most of day 1 and he didn't really contribute anything remotely substantial for a while (though apparently he was busy in a different game). I called out the tells of a scum sloonei like I saw them.
I did make an effort to prevent pou from getting lynched. Idk what more you wanted from me there. I kept a close eye on the poll numbers and repeatedly encouraged the thread not to get stuck in the leading wagons and instead consider ddl/quin/etc and I believe I was fairly instrumental around EOD in ensuring ddl was lynched instead of Mac (enough people had moved off of pou by that point that I wasn't worried about her anymore). Idk what you mean by the dunya thing, and how else did I "narrate" the poll and why do you think that's bad? I did what I could when I was around. And my progression on jack was not fake. I scum read him early and then things changed.

The first two posts were quite early in the game. You were cool with him. You remained cool with him during the GTH reads. That is, in a vacuum, fine. You don't state a stance on him again though (unless I missed something) until very recently in response to Mac giving you shit about this. And that is only barely a "read". In that fourth post, you basically absolve nova of any responsibility merely for being unsure about his meta and your memory of it. I mean, what the hell even is that? Who cares about his meta? He "could be" bad, but you have not personally investigated that possibility to any depth whatsoever. That is not what I would expect from nutella.

And it's what would be necessary for this dynamic to be a "me vs nova".

You are forgetting that there are several low-lying players in this game who could easily have scum role cards and have not had occasion to bare themselves in the open yet. The day 1 thread environment so far has funneled attention onto a few select people, making it a piece of cake for others to slide by unscrutinized.

Mac's barely-serious mafia list didn't warrant a response really, and nutella crammed a bunch of words into a response anyway that amount to "low-posters can be scum too". Duh.

that pushed a specific annoying button for me, it's a thing that comes up game after game and if he was kidding it wasn't clear cause he makes posts like that on d1 every game and the fact that he just included the highest posters really set me off because it's a bias that has messed up too many games for me to let it slide
