Yeah we had to kill you and Mac because there was no way we were lasting very long around you two. Mac’s day 1 case against me was spot on, minus the part where he said I should have defended sig while I was absent from the thread.Golden wrote: ↑Wed May 16, 2018 9:01 pm Dammit, even though I knew I was getting killed I'm so mad at myself for the point at which I left. I thought I had another hour or so and I was going to double down and reinforce that Sloonei was bad. I wanted that to be my parting thought. Instead it was nova and turnip.
I always believed Sloonei was bad, from day one. Nothing ever shook me from that view. I suspected dunya but couldn't decide if it was real or just being pressed for time, and I didn't want to be too mean... dunya, I'm never giving you the benefit of the doubt again. I was nowhere close to speedchuck (his small defence of LC was enough for me to believe in him).
One thing this game reminded me is how important it is that a functional town pay attention to townslips. They matter. I couldn't believe how much Marmot suspicion remained out there after he was essentially hard cleared.

So as I usually say in every game, I’m never scum, making this the first time I got a nice big taste of being evil around familiar faces in a long, long time. I experienced some anxieties that were new, but also some evil pleasures. I got great joy out of telling golden that teammate saves never actually happen while orchestrating a save of nova. I see the appeal of being bad now.

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 8]
I am leaving for work now. Sorry for not being more active, I am having technical difficulties. I am comfortable enough with my kyle vote anyway, and I support his lynch.
The main points against him are his treatment of speedchuck early on: he prodded him loosely and without direction a number of times early on, and then hopped on when real pressure started to go his way. If somebody bussed speedchuck, I could see kyle as the culprit. And then his behavior today has been uninspiring. He’s repearedly deflected my prompts for reads while insisting that I am not hunting, or something akin to that.
I encourage everyone to keep talking about everything, but I won’t be around to take part in that. As things currently stand, Kyle is my preferred choice. I disagree with the suspicion on Jack and I scratch my head at everything wolbre says. I have not been inclined to lynch nova ay any point recently, but his silence in the latter portion of this game is not helping.
If any of the remaining players are scum I tip my cap to them and they deserve to win.

Kyle always plays emotionally to some degree, I think. I am reminded of his GOC behavior more when he says things like “my attention is focused elsewhere” and “i’m tired”. I remember him using things like that in self-defense when he was pressured there. But that was also a longer and more drawn-out case against him that took forever to fully come together. I would expect more emotion, regardless of his alignment, on a case like this one which has come together relatively quickly.
hmmmmm

Idk, an amount of emotion. I’m not sure I understand the question. That seems perfectly in line with kyle’s character as a delightful human being, but nothing that i’ve seen in the thread convinced me that he needs to be town in the way that, say, choutas’ response to being bandwagoned did. I sense a bit more fatigue and resignation in kyle. I may be in a tunnel on him now though.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 12:47 pmHe got emotional enough that he felt the need to take a time out and apologize to me later.Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue May 15, 2018 12:43 pmWhat if neither wolbre or kyle are viable options at the end of the day?
Kyle always plays emotionally to some degree, I think. I am reminded of his GOC behavior more when he says things like “my attention is focused elsewhere” and “i’m tired”. I remember him using things like that in self-defense when he was pressured there. But that was also a longer and more drawn-out case against him that took forever to fully come together. I would expect more emotion, regardless of his alignment, on a case like this one which has come together relatively quickly.
How much of an emotional reaction do you expect?
