That would actually be amazing. However due to recent events in the Genius game, we shouldn't play mafia games together. Bad things happen.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 11:10 am Lol Luna and Speedchuck bad together. So romantic.
Spacedaisy's tone here makes me think she's scum, and trying to dispel suspicion by daring anyone to call her bluff. I'm going to [VOTE: spacedaisy] aubergine for now.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 7:55 pmNope. And I probably won't. Don't let that keep you from voting me if you feel like I'm bad. I mean I can be a pretty crafty baddie. But I'm not about to hide behind inactivity, fwiw. My lack of activity is just because of outside stuffs. If you find me bad, vote me. Don't let my shitty time management keep you from it.
Colin did the same to me, but I'm not scum. So I don't know if I buy it. I think he was trying to pin suspicion on easy-lynch townies
Currently feel like nova is the most scummy out of those three. I don't have much to back that up though, so I might should check nova's recent posts
Right now it's just a place to park my vote, and it did give me a response from her. So I am most likely going to move it.
So you don't agree with your own assumption? Good call. I don't agree with it either. That doesn't mean looking into dunya, nova, jack and marmot is a bad idea though.colonialbob wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 7:26 am Ok, operating under the assumption that luna is the Oracle (which I'm not sure I agree with, given her reaction yesterday), I plan on looking into dunya, nova, jack, and marmot.
Interesting point here.Marmot wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 11:40 am One vote from Day 1 in particular I didn't like was Scotty's.
He voted 41 hours before the deadline and didn't budge. Here's why I didn't like it. Scotty was around and active all day long, talking with other players, about other players, etc. Yet he left his vote on Epignosis. I've done something like this before. In Mortal Kombat, I was mafia tossed a vote on dunya, and despite some solid genuine effort from her, I left it there in the hopes she'd be lynched. She was. This is what Scotty's vote looks like to me. He had the opportunity to get a strong town player mislynched early, and parked his vote there.
He has 9.Marmot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 5:33 pmThere's too many players in this game to keep tabs on all of you aaaaaaaaaaaaaand Long Con currently has 8 votes and the day ends in ~30 minutes.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 5:31 pm People who are voting LC because of his Colin defense - why havent any of you expressed suspicion of me?
No worries, I'm not bad.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 5:21 pmIt's kind of funny, I was thinking of coming in here and letting everyone in on my funny circumstance where I hope you get lynched and I hope you are Civ. Just because, if you are lynched, and you are bad, then that will just look really bad on me.Spoiler: show
It doesn't look likely. Also, I'll need more conviction to join that lynch train.

People point out Luna's suspicious behavior but it's actually her explanations of the suspicious behavior not making any sense that have earned her my vote.
That is an interesting observation. If I go out today, I sincerely hope you guys will follow through with the Long Con lynch tomorrow. The dude is sketchy.
I'm new to mafia, Spacedaisy. I don't yet have a meta. Believe it or not, I am town. But I do realize my stupidity has made me look scummy.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:48 pmAh, I see. Yeah it does look bad. Like Goldenthough, I might find this more compelling if LC flips bad. Is that all there is on her? Also, how does luna usually play? I've never been in a game with her.Scotty wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:34 pmThe most recent stand out reasonSpacedaisy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 12:31 pm Whoa, also lunalee has 4 votes? True. I mistakenly thought the poll ended at 5, so I was quick to jump. I realized later that I had another day.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 10:42 amBut those votes were less than an hour apart?Lunalee wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 10:40 amI ditched my Long Con vote because my single vote on him was not going to do anything. Golden wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 10:12 pm Sloonei, I can be convinced you aren't bad, but what I really hope to see from you today are gut reads on everyone - not based on reading the whole thread or anything, I just want to know where your head is at. So far you've spent your whole time in a defensive mode that I don't particularly think looks good on you (for instance, calling out your voters as having given you nothing to defend against). Don't defend. Hunt.
Interactive analyses such as you have time for would be great.
What about this convinces you that Sloonei is not bad? I'm putting my vote on him today.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 6:10 pm Choutas is clouding his eyes with a focus on principles only
Dougall looks great and he should be a beacon for rational thinkers
Listen to words from the gods who say Golden and Empee are townies
Speedchuck is trustworthy, Luna and Kyle we can safely rely on
Persians amongst us, but sloonei was lynched and we cheered to the heavens
I can't believe my luck, guys. I was literally just town confirmed by an oracle.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 6:10 pmChoutas is clouding his eyes with a focus on principles onlySpoiler: show

I'm was not happy with my current vote on LongCon. I thought Golden's posts looked convincing, and he was voting for you. So I changed my vote to you! Really quite simple reasoning. And I already posted such.
What's your opinion on MP?
I currently give Spacedaisy a null read, because she hasn't been around much, and hasn't even voted yet today. I did not put as much thought into this post as you and MP have, so no. I was not trying to indirectly establish suspicion.Sloonei wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:20 pmResponding to ancient posts because that's just where I'm at right now. MP and I did not ask you the same question. MP asked why you care how Daisy looks. I asked how you read Daisy, MP asked why you were concerned about her appearance. Better stated, my concern is that it looked like you were trying to indirectly establish a suspicion against Daisy without coming out and stating it firmly. You say you do not suspect Daisy. Why not?Spoiler: show
Hi MacDougall. I'm around. Really not sure what to think about this Colin/Sloonei tie.MacDougall wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 11:04 am @Turnip Head get your torch out.
@Lunalee I see you there.
Well I'm flatteredScotty wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 4:02 pm I’m liking Luna’s organicness today. I don’t feel as brash and accusatory as I felt yesterday.
There’s a bunch of peeps I’m unsure of in this game. Like SpaceDaisy. When she gets back from margaritaville, I hope she can show some of that civ life I remember from GoC(even tho she wasn’t civ lol)
I did place my vote on you for a while. But that was two days ago. I've seen more of your posts since then and feel better about you. Sorry, there's nothing specific I can point to. But depending on how Sloonei flips, I may change my mind.
I'm in for voting LC. I suspected him on day one. With everyone's suspicions, why is no one voting him yet? [VOTE: LongCon] aubergine
I really agree with voting for someone you're suspicious of instead of jumping on a wagon. That was my mentality day one. However, it doesn't do any good if no one shares your suspicions. For that reason I'm reviewing other lynch candidate's posts to see if I have any reason to switch if no one gets on board with my wolbre suspicions. So far you're not pinging my scum radar, so I'll move along.ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Apr 25, 2018 5:04 pmIt's a bad look to vote for somebody I'm suspicious of, as opposed to jumping on a wagon I don't believe in (which, by the way, turned out to be a civ)? Golden's paraphrase of my post here is disingenuous and distorts the character of my message.Spoiler: show
If sig is bad, Colin is bad. If sig is good ... well, guess Colin is still bad?
Logic: wolbre joined a lynch train and when I asked about it, defended his decision by saying he didn't want the chance of a no-lynch on day 1 (although he was mistaken about how that worked). I would be okay with a defense based off his suspicion of the person, but to just want to get a lynch through no matter what, seems like a scummy thing to do. More town kills leads to faster mafia victory.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 10:18 amCan you explain this logic?Lunalee wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 10:16 amFor wolbre to have been so concerned about a day one no-lynch makes me suspect him a bit. a. I'm new so Epi's behavior seemed weird as I don't know anyone's metas that was alive at the time
b. I posted the "No Lynching is illegal" Trump gif (this should obviously be enough)
c. I wasn't going to be around for several hours after voting, and he seemed the best option at the time (I didn't post after that for quite awhile). I wouldn't have felt comfortable with a sig lynch because he was not acting scummy based on my games with him on my home forum.
d. At the time, Epi had 3(?) votes on him I believe and was the leading wagon, with 2(?) votes on another player - I wasn't going to risk a tie when our information tank is empty.
And thanks for answering on the response to suspicion by the way.
You missed it.
