I didn't really get the feeling he believed those readsAlison wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 5:42 amno, I didn't know about his alt. I do know that he has been aggressive even in games where he openly complains about always being the N1 kill because he just can't stop himself from murdering mafia when he's town. I also know that he has said he feels unable to fully replicate the spark of towny energy he has when he is scum, which jives with his uninspired and biteless pushes this game.
why does mac go into a game where he thinks alison and sloonei are powerwolfing and decide that his best move is to afk and try to make it through the night alive while forfeiting thread control to them?
But Nanook is probably right it's not actually too big of a deal and I kinda assumed you would think the same thing as me knowing him similarly

You seem to want Alison to see you as honest here. You frame it as a suspicion against her, but the motivation comes across more (to me) as you wanting to be town-read than wanting to catch mafiers.c4e5g3d5 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:09 am Not particularly desperate to convince a wolf anything. I always ask myself why a town should do this, the last time I saw someone do this they ended up masons with someone and they got lynched.
Anyone beat me to this.
Also I see Long Con and KZA are voted currently. I feel whenever I play here Long Con gets voted somehow. Will drop my opinions once I am cought up.

Which sounds *very* genuine to me, and give off really towny vibes in a unique way and specifically contrary to the mindset I believe wolf!Rej would have made his earlier posts with. He sounds unsure of himself based on needing to repeat he's going to slank; but these townyness he feels he has isn't awkward, it's not forced or overblown, it's very natural and not unsure/worried! So, I think he's town

what's your take on the game state so far? how are we doing? what would you like to see happen over the last ~24 hours of day 1?
2.the gamestate is fine. i'm concerned about the fact that we've been hearing from the same ~10 voices or so, when this is a 20+ player game. i feel like there are a number of people who have been able to weasel out of explaining their reads by just outright ditching the thread for long periods of times, and that makes productive dialogue a lot more difficult than it would be if we had more centralized communication. i don't really feel like any valuable towncores are forming today and i also don't feel that people who ~are~ universal townreads have any real sense of cohesion - feels like everyone is just kind of blindly stumbling around shouting their own suspicions right now
so uh....maybe the threadstate isn't as good as i thought, lmao, but most of this is probably par for the course for d1 of a game of this size. the best thing that could happen in the next 24 hours is if the players who have been largely silent today came back with strong and well-substantiated thoughts, but i don't think that's going to happen

what the fuck I just spent like 20 minutes figuring out stuff with how many roles are listed in each thing and how big the sizes might be then I read
- The number of roles listed under each faction has no bearing on the actual number of players within each faction with the exception of the Wastelanders and the Enclave, who each have large populations relative to the rest.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 1]
why'd you include cards on the table in thisstaypositivefriend wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:46 pm cards on the table: i'm worried about foresight's defense of me being TMI
he seemed actively suspicious, if not enraged about the fact that i was refusing to out my reads in the early game
and even though a lot of the pressure i've faced today has revolved around that EXACT dynamic, foresight has written it off as "nothing" and downplayed the suspicion on me as being dumb
and like, it is dumb. but i don't know if foresight would organically think that given the reaction that he showed to my posts at the time - i do feel like it lacks a bit of internal consistency

it didn't really change much for me regarding what you posted there but I also don't really take slips too seriously and was just explaining what I thought about itstaypositivefriend wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:40 pmdid you not like my response on http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 19#p737619 ?Esooa wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:07 pmmore so that she's thinking about her reads in terms of "reads a scum would out" as if she's trying to out reads a scum wouldn't consciously, which I mean, is never something I've done as town probably even once?Alison wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:05 pmshe's admitting that her own read is something a scum would say, is the ideaLong Con wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 7:04 pmHow is it a slip?
