It was all smoke and mirrors. I did it while planning to switch to Pennywise later on. The point wasn't to get Marmot lynched, it was to make people think I had a point in the first place.

But "looking like I'm being productive" is a valid answer to "what was scum trying to accomplish"

I mean, the whole game is "what is X trying to accomplish by Y"

The point is that most of the time scum doesn't really care about getting A or B lynched. In fact, that is probably counter-productive since it's better if the civs take the blame for civ lynches.

He's a good player but he's historically been very "Take stuff in and spend time developing theories/reads/ideas before I start posting a lot". The culture on my home site has been if you post a lot you either are Town and get killed fast or are mafia so I think that mentality has impacted him

My own instinct is to read anyone who constantly projects emotions as being someone who is intentionally trying to drive the narrative and get others to read a person's post in that emotional light.

Trying to make me appear angry, irritated, not calm or somehow emotionally invested in my belief that she is bad bothers me a lot. It's a very smart approach to discrediting my thoughts.

I know she relies a lot on gut to read people. She has a good instinct for this. I don't particularly remember if she projects emotions, but it makes sense in this context if she does, since her hunting style is more emotion based.

That's an... interesting perspective. I've handpicked at least one role in half the games I've hosted. Usually it's either for a meme reason or because the person asked me. I figure the effect it has on luck is too small.
