This happens. It is the main suspicion on Marmot, put into better terms. This is the point that got DH on the Marmot train, though he needed the 'bus Luna' bit clarified by the timing of Marmot's vote.

The day proceeds from there, and admittedly Jack talks about a lot of other stuff. He's instrumental in pushing Marmot through harder the following day.

Dizzy, Jack, and TH were probably most instrumental in pushing Marmot to the forefront on day 4, overall.

Not as strong a look as I was hoping for, but definitely a bus when one wasn't needed. Aside from those three players, most people had a null read on Marmot going into day 4. I know I did. Sprit, Sloon, Bullz, (all town) were options to push through easily. But the lynch settled on Marmot and Simon.

This post with some hindsight makes Marmot/Luna/KNess look compatible to me.

There’s confidence in the townieness of townies and alive players. There’s shade at Marmot and Kyle. There’s not really anything I see tying Kness to Luna in there and not a strong tie to Marmot considering Kness has had similar “bad feeling” reads on other players.

I was going back over the roles list for some reason, and the lynched player role reveals, and it struck me that no player had had their role revealed as Cut Man. And yet Cut Man has had his role revealed. Why? One theory is that he used his power once and it affected the lynch.

I didn't slip, I recalled Cut Man coming up in the Marmot discussions and tried to pull the name and that's what I pulled.

Ready for another wild guess? Marmot is cutman and used his power night 3 in anticipation of day4, halved his votes from 5 to 3. Gemini man, his teammate votes simon with him to ensure that he isn’t lynched. His other teammate is now giving him info on the imprisoner to try and fake us out.

Alternatively, Gemini man wanted a laugh and voted simon to tie it up, marmot who is again cutman in this scenario already was clear by the time he and GM voted simon. But it was secured st that point.

In either case marmot looks bad. I want to bet he used his cut power again today, so he actually only had 3 votes on him right now.

I feel like the majority of the thread agrees with this. Am I wrong? If that's the case then fine, I'll lay off Jack this time around because it's pointless if everyone townreads him. If he's bad, I wash my hands of it.

I'm willing to vote KNess over DH. I really liked Turnip Head's recent assessment, the one with 'all the right reads'.

It's based on the way you behaved when you subbed in. Is that how you normally play? I don't know, and I don't care. It wasn't helpful in any way that I perceive, and the fact you keep asking me my reasons is just making my feeling all the more right.

To reiterate, I am voting for you because when you started playing, all you did was bad mouth the plays (which I agree Day 1 was a cluster because of the Elohcin lynch) that had occurred and then mouthed about the player base. You offered nothing constructive. Adding in the stupid focus on the "Meow" debacle, a non-issue you somehow still haven't gotten over, combined with the questioning on Marmot, I don't think you have the town's best interest at heart.
