Also this is too much for WIFOM IMO. Jack called to this. It has been ignored.

Re: Mega Man Mafia [Day 4]
Day 4 starts.
These happen:
The day proceeds from there, and admittedly Jack talks about a lot of other stuff. He's instrumental in pushing Marmot through harder the following day.
Dizzy, Jack, and TH were probably most instrumental in pushing Marmot to the forefront on day 4, overall.
Not as strong a look as I was hoping for, but definitely a bus when one wasn't needed. Aside from those three players, most people had a null read on Marmot going into day 4. I know I did. Sprit, Sloon, Bullz, (all town) were options to push through easily. But the lynch settled on Marmot and Simon.
These happen:
Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:36 am Marmot's still sketchier tho, on account of his offwagon sprityo vote that quickly turned into an on-wagon Luna vote.
Nt much else discussion of Marmot other than these. People flopping on Sloonei, Sprit, and Bullzeye. Then...
This happens. It is the main suspicion on Marmot, put into better terms. This is the point that got DH on the Marmot train, though he needed the 'bus Luna' bit clarified by the timing of Marmot's vote.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 29, 2018 10:58 am [VOTE: I am voting for Marmot cause he’s probably bad. Also I just realized he left me out of that post, even though I was on the Luna bandwagon and had a few noteworthy comments surrounding it. idk what that means exactly, it's just interesting that I'm the only person on that 9-vote wagon that KNess didn't talk about at all. Maybe it's tough for baddies to give reads on me so he just... forgot to, idk idk.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:31 amThis post with some hindsight makes Marmot/Luna/KNess look compatible to me.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:24 amWhy?Turnip Head wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:23 amRight now, at this precise moment in time, I'd prefer to lynch him over Jack or DHspeedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:17 am @Dyslexicon @Turnip Head

I appreciate that now that it's coming down to the wire, you're attempting to be more helpful than before, but I can't help but laugh at the implication here. I've already explained why I'm voting for you, and it has nothing to do with Jack's vote. There’s confidence in the townieness of townies and alive players. There’s shade at Marmot and Kyle. There’s not really anything I see tying Kness to Luna in there and not a strong tie to Marmot considering Kness has had similar “bad feeling” reads on other players.

Specifically because KNess has called attention to the fact that he doesn't find it easy to make reads like we do here, and then he ends up having all the right reads. He's either better at the game than he thinks he is or he is playing with more information than he'd like to.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 12:28 pmCan you unpack why you think this as opposed to Kness being town or 3P?Turnip Head wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:56 amAlso I just realized he left me out of that post, even though I was on the Luna bandwagon and had a few noteworthy comments surrounding it. idk what that means exactly, it's just interesting that I'm the only person on that 9-vote wagon that KNess didn't talk about at all. The reasons Jack is Town:
1. He values the integrity of the game too much to permit the killing of high posters and proven solvers. His integrity on the matter holds even when considering the idea of using that meta as a weapon, to do the very thing he would never do, gaining a sterling Civ reputation while also killing off those most likely to see through it; Jack still wouldn't do that.
2. His....
Shit. We interrupt this post with some disturbing allegations.
I was going back over the roles list for some reason, and the lynched player role reveals, and it struck me that no player had had their role revealed as Cut Man. And yet Cut Man has had his role revealed. Why? One theory is that he used his power once and it affected the lynch.
Here's the thing. This:
Did DharmaHelper slip? If everyone tells me I'm crazy, that's fine, I'll be relieved, I don't even want to vote for DH.

I think that DharmaHelper may have slipped here. Maybe Cut Man did save Marmot from lynch. But he can only self-target! But Marmot was Magnet Man. With Cut Man and Magnet Man on a baddie team together, Marmot could Magnetize Cut Man's ability.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:17 amGemini Man, yes.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 11:16 amIt was Gemini man, wasn't it? Jack's push on Marmot is a good thing to look at, though. I'll refresh myself on it.
Cut Man
Rolling Cutter – Two different Nights, you may activate Rolling Cutter, and all votes against you the next Day will be cut in half.
Gemini Man didn't save Marmot in the sense that DH was saying it. Gemini Man tied the lynch up, ostensibly, and gave Marmot a 50%(?) chance of survival. That's not the implication I get from "When you say Jack was one of the main drivers behind a marmot lynch do you mean the one that Cut Man saved Marmot from?" - THAT feels more like an accusation that Jack didn't need to fear Marmot's lynch because he knew half-votes.Magnet Man
Magnet Missile – Your magnetic weaponry enables you to draw your target’s ability to yourself. You will experience all effects of the ability used on you, but if you draw any kill to yourself, your magnetic shield will protect you from destruction.
Did DharmaHelper slip? If everyone tells me I'm crazy, that's fine, I'll be relieved, I don't even want to vote for DH.

That would require the mafia team used most of their available resources to only kinda try to save Marmot the night before he almost get lynched. A ballsy plan, if true.

When else would Gemini man be used? When? What other time is worth it?
I'm 50/50 on whether that was a slip or not. I didn't even remember what cut man did. We'd have to see if Marmot thought he would be facing a lynch before end of night 3, because it's a night ability. He did seem pretty unconcerned about it during the day if I remember right.

In either case marmot looks bad. I want to bet he used his cut power again today, so he actually only had 3 votes on him right now.

Re: Mega Man Mafia [Day 7]
Sorry for the interruption, back to that post:
The reasons Jack is Town:
1. He values the integrity of the game too much to permit the killing of high posters and proven solvers. His integrity on the matter holds even when considering the idea of using that meta as a weapon, to do the very thing he would never do, gaining a sterling Civ reputation while also killing off those most likely to see through it; Jack still wouldn't do that.
2. His pursuit of Marmot early in the Marmot-hunting days looks really good.
I feel like the majority of the thread agrees with this. Am I wrong? If that's the case then fine, I'll lay off Jack this time around because it's pointless if everyone townreads him. If he's bad, I wash my hands of it.
I'm willing to vote KNess over DH. I really liked Turnip Head's recent assessment, the one with 'all the right reads'.

I have reason to believe this is not the case.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 1:30 pmIt's not even aligned with the lynches. Charge man has had his role revealed on lynch, but not in the OP. People have lives, but it shouldn't matter in this case that I didn't immediately answer your question since I've been stating the reason why I'm voting for you several times already. It's based on the way you behaved when you subbed in. Is that how you normally play? I don't know, and I don't care. It wasn't helpful in any way that I perceive, and the fact you keep asking me my reasons is just making my feeling all the more right.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 12:37 pm Cool how Knees dropped in here to poke me around for "finally" taking the game seriously, avoided answering why he finds me suspicious, and then left.
Very cool.
To reiterate, I am voting for you because when you started playing, all you did was bad mouth the plays (which I agree Day 1 was a cluster because of the Elohcin lynch) that had occurred and then mouthed about the player base. You offered nothing constructive. Adding in the stupid focus on the "Meow" debacle, a non-issue you somehow still haven't gotten over, combined with the questioning on Marmot, I don't think you have the town's best interest at heart.

If I'm lynched, I will flip town. I only hope in that event my death illuminates some very fine points about the remaining mafia in this game.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 1:43 pmIf Kness is lynched and flips town, it’ll be bad for you, Chuckles.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 1:39 pmThey've got all the right friends in all the wrong places

Re: Mega Man Mafia [Day 7]
Since I’m too lazy to look for it right now, does anyone Long Con Turnip Head Kylemii have a good reason to think Speed is not teamed with DH or that Speed is town at all?
As a reminder, Speed basically threw up his hands and said he couldn’t read Luna and voted Simon over Marmot despite not really having a strong opinion on Simon.
