Why?
Michelle look town to you?

I feel like the read from Michelle is genuine. I don't know how I feel about "i like in a townish way". i feel like there would be a natural way to say that without it coming up funky, but I guess you do you, Michelle.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 5:04 pm Michelle offers this lone post in defense of Rej D1. I'm not crazy about your deflection, Dom.
A baddie looks for easy lynches. This often leads to a trail of insincere, forced, or meaningless votes.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:38 pmA townie does this because they suspected both players.
A wolf does this because...?
(Yes, I know wolves do things just to do things but I want to know why this is suspicious to you.)
Why?
Sure. Potential.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:55 pmI'm not crazy about your deflection, Dom.
But I don't really see Michelle's presence in the thread. (yeah, I'm one to talk; thanks for noticing. But if I'm really looking at the thread, it's like there's not enough umph for me to be like you and say that she's the wrong lynch for today.
Like what has she done to tip the scales for you?
She's voted for Timmer, Lunalee, Creature, and Timmer again. And it looks like she didn't even vote day 1. What town doesn't vote day 1?
Like priorities man, right now I'm fine with the vote on Michelle.
I might be voting there today.
I like Timmer. I liked Creature before they died.
In my mind, Michelle has potential to be mafia scum.
no posts since day 4.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:58 pm I guess Drag slipped off activity at some point? Or is he posting more at my speed with bursts of content stuffs?
Last I checked, I asked you a question, and you flat out deflected. I don't care that you're not voting for them. I was curious why you thought the votes on her were bad.
I'm not saying it's bizarre. I'm saying it doesn't help Timmer to stick his neck out for Sabie once. But thats stupid cause he was the counterwagon.Dom wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 10:58 pmA baddie looks for easy lynches. I have a really stupid reason to think Dom is town and also he seems pretty much like town Dom. (But I've never seen scum Dom so take that with a grain of salt.)Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:14 pmLast I checked, I asked you a question, and you flat out deflected. I kind wanted to see both sides of the coin here. But all I got, is more of reason to look into Dom if Michelle turns out to be a baddie.
....so what you're saying is that you're putting the cart before the horse with a timmer lynch?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:38 pmI'm not saying it's bizarre. Mostly. Her reads are consistent but also not super believable and they keep landing her on not Sabie votes when the vote counts are close. If Timmer flips town, I will massively scumread Michelle and if he flips scum, much of my Michelle suspicion disappears.
This feels not possibly true.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:40 pmI have a really stupid reason to think Dom is town and also he seems pretty much like town Dom. Here's the thing, Epi.
I think Michelle flips scum more often than Timmer in this scenario and I don't want to subtract 1 from X just to read Michelle better. I can be convinced otherwise. So convince me.Dom wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:45 pm....so what you're saying is that you're putting the cart before the horse with a timmer lynch?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:38 pmI'm not saying it's bizarre. 1. Town Jack gets influenced by scummy Jack. It makes him arrogant. So... what you're telling me is my suspicion of creature-sabie voters is well founded?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:46 pmHere's the thing, Epi.
The more I play mafia, the more I think about wolf strategy in terms of numbers and endgame.
Scum needs X mislynches. Scum needs Y players to survive until endgame.
Sabie wasn't surviving til endgame. If you're scum, I don't think you blast her and then try to save her. I think you blast her but not hard enough to stop Creature from getting lynched and then you say Timmer's scum with her and try to mislynch Timmer before and after Sabie swings.
The goal isn't to save Sabie and get her to endgame or even to use her power one more time. It's to get a mislynch while the mislynching is good.
That's not unreasonable.![]()
So... what you're saying is that Michelle's alignment is dependent on Timmers but you want to lynch Michelle first, and yet again spare Timmer....Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 11:49 pmI think Michelle flips scum more often than Timmer in this scenario and I don't want to subtract 1 from X just to read Michelle better. can't guess tbh.
Sure.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 12:50 amWho is rainyday now?
Let’s play a game. Sabie makes more or less one post a day. This is one of those posts. Does she ever do that if this is a mafia teammate?
Sorry, I don't know either. My gut feel is she doesn't do it if Rainy is a teammate.
GTH I would pick Epi and Owner as town.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 3:09 am 11 players +Quin
3 scum, 1 sk, 7 townies.
Townies are Jack, very likely Tony, very likely Dom.
4 more townies. Gth Juliets and Dizzy are town too.
2 townies in Epi, Michelle, Sprityo, Timmer, Owner, Drago.
Epi and Michelle both antialigned with Timmer, particularly Epi.
I want some gth reads on the ugly pack. Who are the two townies there?
....right....Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 3:00 am Dom, I’m saying a Timmer flip will effect my Michelle read.
That doesn’t mean I don’t have a Michelle read.
That is my gut feeling, but
I've never tried to sub in as a different alignment before, but I definitely don't understand why that would be "easier". Anyway, I'm still town, and I'm glad I got the chance to sub in again, cause I was pretty annoyed with how D1 went and dying N1 as well. So I was already invested in the game when I came in again. Jack may be buddying me, but it's true that I prefer playing town waaaaaay more than scum.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 10:39 pmIt’s very simple for Dizzy to just pretend he never died. As far as the psychology of it goes it’d be much easier if he’d normally skate it in to just take his town role as opposed to fully assume his usual wolf attire.Epignosis wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2019 10:36 pmIt's more about Sloonei than Dizzy. Bad Sloonei has an uncanny way of showing his hand eventually. He's subbed out, so that can never be ascertained. All Dizzy2 has to do is replicate what Dizzy 1 was doing, and if the civilians were on such a shitty streak, as they were, that wouldn't be hard to do.
Why did mafia take out Quin last night? Anyone know?
This is correct reasoning if you don’t think Timmer is scum and you do think Michelle is scum. It’s obviously correct reasoning. It’s not particularly controversial.Dom wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 8:44 am....right....Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 3:00 am Dom, I’m saying a Timmer flip will effect my Michelle read.

"I think Michelle is bad. But I'll know if she's bad if timmer isn't. Therefore, I should lynch Michelle first!"
What.
I’ll hesitantly trust better opinions on this one. Also can’t really imagine anyone who’d rather be Town than scum but I think I might be an odd one out on that.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 9:04 amI've never tried to sub in as a different alignment before, but I definitely don't understand why that would be "easier". day 5 epi was literally just reaffirming every five minutes that he supports a sabie lynch with every post in between condemning it instead
