No. NANOOK's post about you made sense to me - "It's also notable that rej didn't vote on either of sloonei or Colin, which would've given him a chance to survive. // All told I think this points towards sloonei being scum--maybe Colin with his meaningless speedchuck vote, but I tend to think sloonei's votes look worse, coupled with rej not voting there."Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 9:38 pmIs it still just because I was buddying you?Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 9:36 pmYeah, WIFOM is a possibility. It’s believable for him to have an impulse to shake off town reads. I am weighing this as I consider his alignment in this game right now.
However, I have two concerns that are not (and frankly cannot) be covered by this point:
1) WIFOM. Just as town LC could be inclined to deter town reads, I could also see scum LC pulling this as a stunt to confuse or shake suspicion. I must also acknowledge that announcing this plan in this way kind of negates it a little, as we now must either believe him or doubt him. If we believe him then he is an even stronger town read than before, so what was the point?
2) None of the points he raised are related to my suspicion. There are two main points I have against him. The first is that he and Rej did not look great in their interactions with one another. The second is his vote for me, which he seems to be maintaining even after revealing his self-destruct plan.
He remains a suspect, but I an considering this newest development as I weigh my vote.
I have discussed Rej tonight. I think you are bad, so my vote is on you. I think it more today than yesterday.
After that I felt bad about you enough to realize I have already decided you're bad and so now I see how and why baddie Sloonei would act like you... it's not rock-solid by any means. I just believe it.

Re: The Wire Mafia
This raises an interesting point, actually: I’ve been focused on where Rej did vote (Tony and Jack), but I hadn’t considered where he didn’t vote. Granted, he was absent for most of the end phase if I remember correctly. But he didn’t vote for Colin and Colin only voted for him as self-preservation at the last moment. If both of them are bad, I could see a world where scum wanted to make sure they didn’t both go down together.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 9:43 pmNo. Turnip Head and ColinIsCool both have pointless votes right now.
Though I guess speedchuck has been a fringe suspect for some, so maybe colin’s is less of a waste. But I don’t see speed as a viable wagon today.

Re: The Wire Mafia
At the buzzer, votes are
Colin 5 - Jack, Boo, Sloonei, Tony, Nanook
Rej 5 - DDL, Jack, Sig, Dunya, Speed
Sloonei 5 - LC, Creature, Nanook, Sig, Nutella
Tony 6 - Rej, Dunya, Sloonei, Speed, Dunya, DDL
And Colin votes Rej. He chose to take Rej from 33% chance to lynch to 100% chance to lynch and himself and Sloonei from 33% to 0%.
If Colin is a wolf, the only reason he votes Rej is because Sloonei is also a wolf. Otherwise, he’d lynch good townie Sloonei over himself and good role partner Rej. A bus on Rej earns him no cred.
So under the idea that Rej is probably teamed with Sloonei and/or Colin and under the idea that Colin can only be a wolf if Colin and Sloonei are both wolves, Sloonei should go first.
If Sloonei flips wolf, we get a wolf and we reevaluate Colin with the knowledge that everything Sloonei said cane from a wolf. If Sloonei flips town, we know all his reads were real and we confirm mislynch bait Colin.
[VOTE: Sloonei] aubergine
Colin 5 - Jack, Boo, Sloonei, Tony, Nanook
Rej 5 - DDL, Jack, Sig, Dunya, Speed
Sloonei 5 - LC, Creature, Nanook, Sig, Nutella

BUT
TSP did a similar thing, where he was extremely self-analytical and such, and he ended up town.
LC is doing a little different dance, with it 'all part of the plan bro', but IDK what to think about that.

Re: The Wire Mafia
He's complained about being very townread before because it was likely to get him nightkilled.
I noted the 'lurker vote' thing he did as very out-of-place with the sentiment in the thread.
He could have looked better on the Rej lynch, technically, but I don't know about that part.
Why should I lynch Long Con eh?

Pretty sure I remember trying to get you lynched D2.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 8:39 pm Too many townreads on me too early. Best to shake them off a bit, that's why I was "blurry" on Day 2. I stepped back from the game a bit and made some intentionally suspicious posts. Lemme go find them.
Actually before I get to them, Sloonei brought up this post:
... looking to pin me to a situation where I said "Rej or Drago maybe" before, but went with Drago. 1. I never switched to Drago, I kept my vote on Dom. 2. Dom and Drago were the tied voteleaders at five apiece at that point, while I think Rej just had two. My point is, it wasn't really a Rej-or-Drago situation by then. Less than ten minutes left in the lynch, Rej wasn't a viable option. I spoke about Drago (and not Rej) at that point for that reason.
Anyways, back to where I was like "f this town-read crap, I need to muddy myself.
Let's start with this one (that I haven't seen Sloonei reference):
This is when my radar started pinging a lot, about Sloonei buddying me. So I voted for him, and tried to be a little scummy with my second vote:
... going for an inactive felt like something that should get a rise out of some players. It didn't really, as I recall. So...Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:25 amI don't like it. I think you're buddying me. [VOTE: Sloonei] aubergine
I'll put the second vote on Zemmi. I don't mind using the second lynch to cut an inactive. [VOTE: Zemmi] aubergine
Even scummier! Where did my boo vote come from?? Had I ever talked about boo before? Come on, people.Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:27 amNah. Why would the Mafia team care about bussing a nonplayer member of their team? That's the easiest bus ever. I'll get on that boo vote. [VOTE: boo] aubergineDragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:03 am I'm thinking lynching zemmi is actually a good idea conceptually, now. But the fact so many people seem to be onboard with it is giving me pause.
But still, these unwelcome strong town reads....
I try to play it off. dunya didn't even bite. If she had, I probably would have followed up with some (truthful) thing about how I make the buddying accusation when I'm bad sometimes as well.
Actually, yeah, here we go, Colin DID question my crappy votes a little! I'll spoiler it because I want to include the gif that I really like:
Like, is that what passes for an acceptable answer these days??Spoiler: show
Then comes another one:
Like, COME ON. Who's voting for me right now? Are you even playing this game, that you would vote for me and not even bring ANY of this crap up?
That's pretty much it for that. Do with it what you will, this is my honest play yesterday. You wanna vote me for not voting Rej, fine. Shame on you for not finding ANY of that other stuff suspicious.

If Sloonei flips wolf, we get a wolf and we reevaluate Colin with the knowledge that everything Sloonei said cane from a wolf. If Sloonei flips town, we know all his reads were real and we confirm mislynch bait Colin.

Yes. That's right. That was pretty good.boo wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:33 pmPretty sure I remember trying to get you lynched D2.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 8:39 pm Too many townreads on me too early.

Re: The Wire Mafia
If Colin is scum and he votes for me then we get two civilian lynches and he and rej both have huge targets on their backs. If he votes for rej it ensures that only one of them died, and gives him a good town claim moving forward.

You flipping scum 85% clears boo and Colin for me. You flipping town makes Colin near-confirmed scum imo, and boo pretty high on the list.Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:47 pmOkay so why me instead of colin?NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:46 pmI mean I think I've been pretty clear that there are two acceptable wagons today and you're one of them, lolSloonei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:44 pmWait you actually believe in a case against me? Colin flipping scum semi-clears just you, and him flipping town just makes you near-confirmed scum.
Your votes yesterday are also scummier than Colin's, just by dent of mattering more.
