me? since when?
i mean

i've increasingly had an issue with your static read on me for some time, i don't think this should be particularly new or a surprise

and your eod2 sucked
It was at least not as bad as like 3 other peoples
I agree with this, for what it's worth.
i don't know that i really disagree either, at least not strongly. long con's and marcher's eods also sucked and the other TH votes weren't great either

doesn't make mac's good and it's one of the worse turnip head voter eods imo

Carot's is the only vote on Turnip Head that I could say was good without being a filthy disgusting liar.

I am including my own vote in this assessment.

You aren't actually evaluating lissa you are just saying things. I had a scumread on Turnip Head for days. My vote was the most justified vote out of everyones frankly. The optics are irrelevant and tbh the fact that they aren't good just makes me more town.

decently wide range of thoughts about things that make sense to think about with some light depth that are all in brief succession/a short time period that make me somewhat inclined to believe you're thinking about actually trying to solve the game/have threads of thought going on

it's questions like these that make me feel very :evileye:

like, such an openended question that doesn't feel like it will offer a resolution or help wilgy specifically in anything but maybe i'm just programmed differently and maybe sloonei's amazing 12 word response shattered his world.
They disapointed me.

Simply put, there's two players that I feel if I'm incorrect, these two are the most likely for me be incorrect on. 'What if I'm wrong' is a good practice as it helps me re-frame my thinking.

I have a good read on Sloonei and a bad read on Moth. Sloonei is following a very pro-town discussion process imo (asking the right questions and bringing up the correct subjects for a game to progress in town's favor). Moth is abnormally easy to read in a scum voice and very difficult to read in a civ voice. YET, if I'm wrong about my reads, I think it's these two.

For clarity sake: These reads aren't reliant of each other. I don't see any current relation between either of their alignments or if I'm wrong on one it doesn't necessarily mean I'm wrong on the other.

Alright so I just parsed through outed wolf's posts and collected all the instances where he does something adjacent to taking a stance on a player. I'm gonna color them rainbow-style (as I interpret them) to track his progression.

But why, sloonei did you state your vote/anything really so far? Why should I wanna be on your triumvirate?
wolfy post

boom roasted.
why

Sloonei has made a couple posts and isn't projecting town yet and if he doesn't start doing so soon I will be very concerned
i assume this is sarcasm/joke of some kind?

also nice, thx jjj
no, why would you assume that

it's completely serious, sloonei is usually good at projecting town early and his first couple posts did zero for me in that regard so when I saw he had voted where I did without explanation I wanted...explanation or something towny from him because I don't want to be voting with a wolf
i think he had made 2 posts at the time and i dont think any meant anything for his alignment (to me anyway)
Sloonei - Tentative defense in response to tentative suspicion.

Master Radishes - Does not firmly state a stance, but the question itself is a leading towards a negative perception of Radishes. I will make an official note in the record to say this is a Bad Look.

its terrible reasoning and involves looking into irrelevant things so deeply you can't see the forest for the trees

my question is something i (and every other player in the game) would ask as either villager or a wolf. its a perfectly neutral question asked to gain understanding of the current state of the game.

reading into this is like reading tea leaves. you wanna click buttons, be my guest.

having tedxtr act like he's all clever for voting me because there's a 25% chance he could be right and have gotten in on the ground floor is just stupid, and it's insulting that you think it would be at all productive regardless of my role
Ted - outed wolf reacts emotionally in response to ted's suspicion, but that response seems to suggest that he sees ted as a civilian in the exchange (personal interpretation)

do you have any thoughts on carot or marcher
not super defined.

carott i know got a bunch of heat in their champs game (well, thats what i picked up from spec chat anyway.) i figure theyd be an easy push regardless of alignment, and at least from what i had seen prior to this morning hadn't really dont anything outside ask a bunch of questions. no real read there. marcher i thought his defence of nanook was super premature and felt like tmi defence of a villager, after that i kinda just let him do his thing. i havent had particularly strong feelings on his posts, but i think there is a possibility i may be predisposed to thinking his style is wolfy, lol.

so, not particularly. i should prob iso them but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
carot, marcher - Spends a few sentences saying nothing about Carot. Expresses substantial negative read on Marcher.

Spoiler: show
outed wolf wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:31 pm okay i isoed carrot

lotta questions which is fine, but doesn;t feel like carrot is building up to anything with them, doesn't feel like they're using it to get reads or get into the headspace of players

could just be a playstyle difference here, and i dont think its a lock case but i can understand why people are wolfreading there
Carot - Still not committing to a stance, but this assessment skews closer to negative than positive.

he seems very snappy/obnoxious/arrogant like in that way villagers tend to get when they think they are gods gift to mankind. you said he was much more reasonable in the game you played with him

i dont really think hes a wolf i just wanna get a better understanding
ted - Definitively states a town read on Ted (a rare thing to this point), while also asking bronana to explain his own read on ted and being critical of ted's play.

lissa is playing differently beacuse she's off site, its making her hard to read, her early posts were very tonally wolfy

im not sure where i stand on her atm
so if you agree that her early posts were wolfy, then why were you voting for me throughout the entire early game while I was just basically tunneling her?
woah now, i voted for a lot more than just you bronana

also i didnt really have any idea you were tunneling her
it's literally all i did on day 0 and day 1, are you saying you didn't iso me?
i did

your posts were all 5 word crap so i skimmed them
my posts were super short so you skimmed them?

you had a gut scum read on lissa, I had a gut scum read on lissa, you read my ISO, you voted me? and you were voting me until an hour ago?

you seems caught boi
i did not have a guy scum read on lissa. i disliked her early posts on d0 but didn't want to do anything with them because it eas a) early d0 b) playing on a different site so her playstyle may be different.

I skimmed your iso, it was full of a lot of crap and nothing of substance (which I'm sure you'll agree) and i voted you amongst many other people that day.

i don't get caught you moron.

I would still lean town on Marcher Jovian, though I feel like their current assessment of the game is underwhelming (I am allergic to null reads).

Let’s all talk some more about outed wolf. He’s been a suspect without there really being an in depth discussion about him at any point that I’ve noticed. I meant to ISO him earlier, but then my stomach decided to be uncooperative all day.
What makes them a suspect? I do like their vote for TSP.
nvm, Outed is a coward and changed their vote.
I still think tsp is underwhelming but nobody else wants to vote on him and I said I'd vote with bronana

Long Con - Guilty until proven innocent.

--------------------------------------
I did this exercise because I have not been able to identify any firm reads from outed wolf at any point in this game, and as I progressed through I began to realize that wasn't an oversight on my part. His reads are brief and static. There are more negative than positive reads in here, but very little in the way of substantiated reads. I think that is the source of our collective uncertainty about outed wolf so far. He's hovered around and cast suspicion/doubts about people, but I struggle to find any examples of him making things happen. He asks a lot of questions, but I don't see evidence that he cares the answers he receives (irony acknowledged).

I am particularly concerned with the persistent negative reads he has expressed: Marcher, Mac, motobot, and Tony to be specific. It is difficult to make out much progression on any of those reads. Other than these comments, I'm not fully sure what conclusions I have drawn here, other than a better understanding of visorwolf's general presence in the thread. If others have anything to add or comment on, please feel free to do so.

I mentioned in the mess above that I have more detailed thoughts about his progression on marcher. I'll get into that in a separate post.
