Okay everyone, Dizzy and I are masons now.
How we gonna role swap now tho
But yes. Radish is way too nice and too good hearted of a person to buddy me this aggressively just to break my heart later. I ship it. Which means town is lucky and scum not so much. =)
Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 11:39 amI suspect you though. I don’t trust people giving easy townreads early D1 or in this case D0.
Why do you town read all those people?
I think this is pretty normal for Tutu tbh. It's pretty normal for a lot of players, myself included. They even tend to be good. =p
If this is the case then im gonna have a hard time playing here.
I’m not a trusting player. My style is you are guilty until proven otherwise.
I mean your name is 'Guillotine' so that attitude makes sense.
You'll be fine here, dw. People throw around early townreads but don't actually stick to them if they later find reason not to.
Also I'm giving you an early D0 townlean now.
you’re town leaning him for describing his playstyle?
this is all subject to change as i catch up btw. i’m tired so you’re getting off the cuff snap take hally. careful thinking hally will be back once i sleep and regain a filter

Nothing I have posted has been scummy. The scumreads on me are silly.
is exactly my thought process/reaction when I rand scum and get caught early for stupid reasons.
Tutuu pls don't be a wolf.
I think I desire to scumread this post. I'm not sure how genuine I believe is Master Radishes presenting himself as sad at the idea of having to scumread and vote me. Other people who have known me didn't present themselves as sad at the thought of being wrong, and depending on the person and the context that could be towny.
With that in mind, I talked myself into townreading Marmot (since he is so wrong and so confident in his wrongness on me) and I am going to put Master Radishes in red.

I hosted a game where you were scum very recently. I’d be careful to try to do reverse psychology on me if I were you.
You made me realize something with that last sentence though. Im giving scum hints on how to manipulate me.
I don't even know which part of my post is supposed to be reverse psychology.
Because i said that i'm suspicious of people easily townreading me on D1, you read this and still proceeded to easily townread me. Why would you do so if you just saw my reluctance towards that behavior? Maybe because you are not afraid to be scum read by me as a result thus you must be town. Too WIFOM to be WIFOM, except maybe it is WIFOM.
That is my thought process. I must say though im a naturally paranoid and skeptical player, so i'm giving you time to show me if you are town or not.
Oh. It was a joke. You said you hated early townreads so I gave you one.
Hi I'm MR I'm suuuper funny.
fine, i rescind my point about your guillo read being fake
probs just town but 'super paranoid' is a sneaky scum attitude that gets towncleared so I'm not closing the book on that, considering he's playing it up a fair bit.
Hm. So what you're saying is that you're actually teammates? Cool.
i don’t really think guillo’s reaction to radishes’ town read looked partner-y but tbd ig
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 2:08 pm
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sean is fine tbh
Why is that?
The posts you post. They seem ok. =p
Really though, I kind of liked your shrug reaction to being hounded by Epi, and also the analyses you've had. I just buy it, don't know what else I can say about it.
You could say that you have TMI and save us all a few gamedays. Just a thought.
Hally wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 9:52 am
up to page four: tutuu town, guill town if radishes is wolf, marmot seems alright, sean probably fine too, tony sus but my read on him is not the best
so far i’ve got
town:
dizzy
tutuu
epi
town lean:
marmot
sean
guill
wolf:
tony
radishes
I'm happy to see your dizzy read since there is nothing about him so far that strikes me as mafia and I had already set him aside as someone not to vote today.
page 7: i don’t agree with nook’s reads on radishes or tony but that in and of itself says nothing about nook’s alignment. we often have different reads iirc. and i kind of believe nook believes them, or at least i think i do
In of itself that's not alignment indicative, but like in combo with her 180 tone shift from Shadows it's sus
2 mafia down, looking for the last one now.
Made, I have no idea what this post means in regards to Mojo jojo. You combine that with the thing we are not talking about to find her as mafia so please explain what you mean by the mojo jojo read.

@tutuu Do you understand what I'm reacting to when I point out your tonal shift? You just come off very differently this game than what I'm used to. Is there any reason you decided to play more serious?
you should stop looking at the tone of her posts and start looking at the substance. her solving is good. her reads make sense and i agree with all of them
she’s very capable of faking her bouncy huggable tone as wolf. her choosing to post in a different tone isn’t AI
TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 1:00 am
The tonal shift is the /only/ thing about it that’s town. Tutuu’s posts are probably rand wolf from a player of her caliber but just the sun of it is undeniable
Linki: jesus don’t everyone change the subject all at once
Marmot I’m town which means I don’t care which means please carry me
this post comes to what i think is the correct conclusion (that tutuu is town) but the way you get there is weird
i don’t know why you say the content of her posts is wolfy. i just don’t agree
Putting these in one place so I can find them easier later
13 players so it’s...what, eight locks for auto? Sounds right
Guess I’m a bit behind at 5.5, I’ll have to fill in the rest d2
I’m actually moving snow to a lock town too, maybe it’s just cause I’m tired, idc, locking them (?) in
So 6.5
i don’t really see what motivation w!nook would have for locking my slot town despite snow being fairly pushable up to this point. it seems like ceding ground that w!nook doesn’t need to give so i’m inclined to call it villagery

Um. The tonal shift is what made me suspect or rather just thrown off in the first place. What do you mean that her posts are rand wolf from a player of her caliber? Why is tonal shift town?
It’s intentional, wolves don’t do that. The posts are rand wolf because I think a lot of them are scummy but that doesn’t matter because tutuu is town and thus all her posts are town
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:29 am
I have a good impression of Tony. He seems relaxed and at the same time it seems like he does comment on whatever he cares about. I've only seen him as scum once, but it was quite a contrast as he seemed much more put on.
i need to refresh my memory here but he seems similar to the game i saw him wolf in
But, for Tutu, you may be right. If her last couple of town games also have been more hearts and hyper, which is what I'm more used to, then I don't necessarily see that she needs to change her tone for this game as scum.
...
I guess I'm content to just assume her town for now.
This is where I'm at with tutuu tbh. Not sure why scum!tutuu chooses to change her usual tone, but I can see why town!anyone might try it out one game.
Imma call it NAI and evaluate her based on other things.
(I've been too lazy to look for those Other Things so far, though.)
but you scum read her for her “the scum reads on me are silly post.” so you already found at least one Other Thing. why are you not factoring that into your read on her here? this post is many words that sound reasonable but ultimately say nothing
tutuu wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 11:40 am
There are 500 posts in the thread and Master Radishes is yet to make a single read. I invite anyone to read his ISO and prove me otherwise. I believe that is scummy for a player of his caliber.
I believe you are wrong.
I don't really get your obsession with Radish tbh. He often has a slow start, and I believe he said he would be busy in the signups anyway.
Which reminds me, @snowmelts You said something about Radish. Was this a defence of them, as in you didn't see how their behavior fit into a scum narrative? Did I read that correctly.
i mean, radishes is not really hitting any of the markers i associate with his town game so i think tutuu’s focus on him is entirely justified. even when he starts slow as town he has things he does that are villagery for him. he has none of that here so far
probs just town but 'super paranoid' is a sneaky scum attitude that gets towncleared so I'm not closing the book on that, considering he's playing it up a fair bit.
I don't disagree on Radish's content (or lack thereof). I would vote there before I'd vote a non-poster. But he did make this post which at least aligns with his behavior thus far this game
Seanzie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 2:55 pm
Are there any arguments that Tutuu is town? If so, I'd like to hear.
My best one atm:
'Why would Tutuu see her wolf card and decide now's the time to noticeably switch up her in-game personality/playstyle, seeing as she should reasonably expect it would attract unwanted attention?'
and do you believe in this? or is this just another empty post that looks relevant but isn’t?
Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 3:32 pm
I've several times started to write a post working towards a conclusion on alignment, and then started arguing the other side in my head, and then deleted the whole post because I still don't feel I have enough info. So that's cool.
But if we take it for granted I'm still unsure - I think Sean is most likely town. I like his analyses and the way he kind of brushed off Epi without being too bothered. He seems to be looking for scum. I buy it.
I'd love to hear more about your read on me when you clarify your thoughts. Especially if you have arguments on why I might be scum, since it is easier to find the alignment in someone's thoughts when I am not wary of being buddied by them.

With risk of tunneling and apologies to TSP in advance if I'm wrong, the posts he's making remind me of the scum game he played in that Russian something something game where he kept distancing and scumreading and interacting with his partners. (His posts towards Made and MR here)
I haven’t interacted with either of these people :P

I'm starting the day by setting aside (i.e, not considering) these people for a vote today:
tutuu
Nanook
Epi
Dizzy
I don't see that thing we can't talk about as a mafia move by tutuu and it sounds like she's been just as aggressive in other games I have not played.
Nanook is saying tutuu is town and to trust him. I'm leaning toward believing him. It could be TMI but Nook's tone makes me think not.
Epi and Dizzy are great players as town and mafia. I haven't seen anything that makes me think they are mafia yet and they are too good of town players to eliminate this early without evidence that they are bad.
I'll be starting in on some more ISOs after breakfast.

I'm going back on Made. Call it a gut read. It's kind of the light tone that seems a bit put on coupled with being late to the game. It reminds me of Radish that one time he was scum forever ago. And me and Radish is the same person, and me and Made might be as well.
[VOTE:

Btw jules, satisfy my curiosity, I believe that you have recently started ending your sentences with "-" instead of "." because it makes them sound more open-ended, and more friendly, cuz sometimes ending sentences with a "." sounds abrupt and rude. Am I right in my read?
