don't have a ton of time to give my two cents right now, but i'm coming closer to a jagged!town world - and i'm not sure what that means for my read on alison. if i ignore the prospect of hunting for partners, then alison remains an appealing vote. i am struggling, however, to find a team for alison that i feel makes a comfortable fit

One thing bothered me though, call me crazy or maybe I’m just bad. Essoa voting me and saying me and Ali are partners and I must be protecting her is wild. Looks to me that if essoa is scum he either wants to keep 2 town wagons going with me and Ali.

something that i found interesting is that when tutuu did her "trustfall" earlier, she noted that she had the hardest time coming up with a reason to both townread ~and~ scumread jagged

i found myself in a similar position when i outed a trustfall/distrustfall yesterday

if jagged has mostly just skated by on "good vibes/energy" and there are no concrete reasons to label him town, then that concerns me. it could be indicative of a jagged!scum world. i feel that the possibility needs to be explored thoroughly today

I don't have you in all the worlds. I have you as a possibility, that's all. It could be nutella/DOOM/JJJ, for instance. I don't think you really understood my solve post because you've made comments about it (like asking why I think Esooa is a wolf) that don't match up to what I said at all.

@Alison, a difficulty I am having:

If I call you town, which I kinda feel like doing right now, then I move one of [Nanook, tutuu, nutella] into my POE of five in your place. You're not in a terribly different place, but you have different "top town reads". Of those three, nutella would actually be my last choice behind both Nanook and tutuu. You spoke a bit of tutuu and team dynamics, but your solve doesn't say a lot about Nanook (or myself, just that we might fit in this team or that). Why do you trust Nanook enough that he isn't where your solving leads you instead of nutella?

nutella can be mafia. At this point I'm not ruling anyone out. But your nutella solve is opposite to my intuition, so it'd help to me to talk that over with you.

thanks for the POE alison - i'm giving it a look and taking it into consideration. i'm roughly at the place where i feel that both DK and esooa have more town equity than not, so if you ~are~ town, it's reassuring to me that our heads are in a relatively similar place

to be honest, i'm facing major information overload syndrome in this game. i don't think i've ever felt so aimless in a mafia game before - this is usually the type of situation i thrive in, but i've felt pretty unable to really "kick it into gear" and help create the conditions for a victory

although DOOM could still potentially be scum, the fact that she was part of the "consensus POE" of universally scumread players throughout the entire game is a small point in favor of her being town - nobody has really shielded her (to my memory), and she's always been in the outskirts of the POE as a plausible chop option. her frustration with being FOS'd today felt very authentic, and i like that it felt as though she was going to enter "anti-spew" mode, but then made a point of still outing insightful analysis/reads. i also thought that her concerns about me felt towny, solely in the sense that they dont make much sense for DOOM to post if she was playing from a mafia mindset. i won't die on the hill of this read being accurate, but i am townleaning DOOM and i am presently not interested in voting for her

koba fits the archetype of "scum" in the sense that they have faced a high level of protection from early on, and my tinfoil read on them was shot down pretty heavily. their push on DOOM also concerns me. that said, their approach does not necessarily ping me today - i feel that their frustration over not being listened to is something that could easily come from a koba!town mindset. i just want to see koba flesh out their reads more, honestly. as things stand, i probably will not end up with a vote on them today

i feel the same about esooa - i still maintain that she had some very strong towntells (on d2 in particular) and that she maintained a consistently strong gamesolve-y tone throughout yesterday. i feel that her presence today has been deflated a bit (perhaps i just havent read her posts closely enough), but i would not characterize esooa as someone that i am actively worried about - she has deepwolf potential, but much like koba, it doesn't seem like a good fit

grogu is an interesting case - he fits pretty well in the scum archetype because he has faced an absurd amount of protection from being pushed on or FOS'd in this game - i can't think of a single time a grogu!scum world consensus actually gained momentum. that said, some of his posts do feel a bit "tonally" towny to me - but we're at the stage of the game where i do not feel that i can reasonably remove someone from my POE for "tone". his passionate defense of alison does also not feel entirely substantiated by his logic. i would not characterize grogu as my number one scumread, but i would characterize him as someone that i'm concerned about

Gather up children, I got to tell y’all a story. This goes a long long time ago, your grandpa was a lot younger and handsome. I was always a free soul back then, I liked the ladies a bit too much. I always wanted to settle and find true love, but just could never find the girl of my dreams.

Times were tough on dating since we were still living the COVID-19 Pandemic at the time. There was a vaccine, yet most people did not had access to it. We all had to wear mask and follow lots of rules. Well one night I could not sleep well, I had this dream of the beach and I was with an amazing girl, it was so realistic, yet when I woke up all I could recall was her lips and smile. I tried going back to sleep to finish the dream or get more details, I felt it was unfinished as if I could somehow get the contact info for this imaginary woman who made me feel so happy and complete. Nothing worked, I instead spent hours tumbling in bed until the sun came up.

On this cold morning in late January 2021 I was tired and hungry. I decided to get up and go have breakfast. I wanted to experience something new, I did not want to go to my usual spot Denny’s which was a national chain back then and that is when the idea hit me. I had been dreaming about the beach and there’s a beach walk nearby that had lots of cool and chic food places with outdoor seating just meters away from the beach.

I walked by a lot of them just to see which caught my eye. Most places were very busy, lots of people sitting and then there was this smaller place called Petit escargot de mer au Chocolat. (Later I found out it means small chocolate sea snail of the sea) It was a small bakery and there was not one soul there, I said well here I am.
It might be awful, but no wait. I sat down and the lady quickly came to great me and take my order. This middle age lady was so kind and had such kind blue eyes and a very sincere smile, she treated me with such kindness and appreciation that I was taken aback. I’ll start with a fresh squeeze OJ if you have any please.
Of course! She reply hastily. I’ll make it myself she shouted with a slight French accent which always makes me smile for some reason. I glanced at the menu to break eye contact and instantly saw it, I quickly added that I’ll take a ham and cheese croissant before she disappeared to make my juice. I was watching the waves come and go while I wondered if the water was way too cold in January. I removed my mask so I could breathe in the fresh air of the sea and that’s why I was interrupted by a young waitress; Hi, here’s your croissant. Would you like anything else?
I sat there for a few seconds and just said no thanks with a smile. Truth is that hearing Croissant with a French accent just makes me smile every time.
The girl had light brown eyes and had a resemblance to the older lady. Since they had to wear mask I could not see her whole face so wasn’t sure but they looked related I thought.
I had my breakfast and I signaled for the check.

The young waitress came out again, I glanced at her name in her name tags while she was asking why I wasn’t having dessert.
Well Michelle I said: I kinda want to lose some weight to be in beach shape. To which she replied: you look great! You must have our specialty, is a croissant shaped like a sea snail filled with chocolate. That’s the name of our place she said in a full French accent “Petit escargot de mer AU chocolat”
I just giggled, it was too cute and I quickly apologized. Sorry Michelle the French accent is so cool. I tell you what, if you help me eat it then I’ll order it that way I don’t fully cheat on my diet.
She smiled I believe under the mask by her expression and said deal!

She came right out with two small plates and a chocolate croissant in one of the plates. I asked her she had to sit down to which she looked inside and said : OMG my mom might freak out but ok quick.
She sat down as I cut it in half and she removed her mask.

I JUST FREAKING FROZE I could not move a muscle as I stared at her lips and her smile. It was the strongest deja vu I ever had in my 30 years. Michelle asked if I was ok?
I just blurted out: OMG you are the girl of my dreams Mich... and just stopped because I knew that sounded so creepy. I’m sorry I said. She was blushing and had turned tomato red.
We both started to eat and said nothing more until the end.
I tried making small talk by saying the obvious; soooo that’s your mom? God I felt so lame asking such question.
Yeah she replied. Then silence just became awkward for a minute.

As she was getting up I thought about the dream and had a sudden burst of courage. HEY Michelle would you like to go on a date with me? Somewhere where your mom is not watching us like she is now and I laughed. She looked inside and her mom was just dumbfounded looking at us trying to figure out what just happened.
I would love to she said as she walked away. Moments later she came with the check and added her cell phone number in the bill.
The croissant was on me she said with a wink.
I looked at the bill and it said:

It was at that moment that I found love and I did not know it yet.
That weekend and every week after that we were the happiest couple and our love still strong till this day. I save you all the details kids but we loved the beach and frequent it a lot, we had our first kiss there while watching the romantic almost red sunset one evening. We felt at home and at last that was were we met, even had our wedding and it all started as a dream.
We had the best days and some late nights that blurred into early mornings led us down by the same beach. We found That falling in love during unprecedented times was a gift. It is the chance to bottle freedom of your soul, to open that gift when we needed most, years later.
We were survivors of a Pandemic, nothing could prevent our Love story.

Something I am considering about nutella: her pushes have largely been bad, that is irrefutable. The same can be said for me, so it's hard for me to take that to the bank. She shares another similarity with me though that I think should be taken into consideration. She hasn't just "made bad pushes" -- she has been topsy turvy in her preferences among those bad pushes. If nutella was genuinely invested in deciding whether we should chop Long Con or Ellie, and then invested in whether we should chop Michelle or Made or Ellie -- that would suggest her views were most likely genuine. I have a feeling a mafia nutella would have been a bit more laissez-faire in that scenario since all of them were town anyway -- she couldn't lose.

I believe nutella/tutuu contains one or more wolves. I am trying to convince people that nutella/tutuu contains one or more wolves. To do that, I must first convince them that a deepwolf exist. Then, I must convince them why nutella/tutuu are the most likely deepwolves out of the possible deepwolves. To do that I have to examine the likelihood of the other deepwolves being true, including Esooa.

doom has just consistently outed posts that feel diametrically opposed to someone coming from a mafia perspective today - i think that she could be scum if the game goes to a LYLO situation, but nothing inspires me to consider her a realistic part of the POE right now

DOOM and Grogu move around a bit, but this is roughly where I have them at right now. JJJ has been too in-sync with me today for me to leave him out of the towncore, and I don't think mafia is in a good enough position that they can afford to just have the exact same stance as me to pocket me. If JJJ is scum he has to push his own agenda, not just sheep me. I've had a couple of interactions with SPF that make me more confident about her, and that's why she's knocking at the towncore's door. I particularly liked the "chill" vibe I got from her when I quizzed her about how she feels about people not clearing her.

Grogu has moved in my reads. I'm still conflicted because his actual pushes are kinda opportunistic on a base level but I don't have a hard time believing he would do this as town and he comes off as honest and transparent in his posting.

I'm seeing more tinfoil towards the "middle" slots like me/SPF/JJJ/nook. I currently have townreads on all of these players and no particular inclination to tinfoil any of them.

^^two posts from alison from yesterday that pinged me at the time, and ping me slightly more now. they are focused on asserting the incorrect consensus POE while downplaying the possibility of tinfoils in the "middle" slots.

Most of the "good stuff" is pure wifom, so I am not inclined to play that game right now. Grogu's read on Omega is all over the place. Omega hasn't taken a terribly aggressive approach with Grogu as a suspect. I cannot comfortably separate them.

This might be my most confident review so far -- I don't think Esooa and Grogu look like mafia teammates.

What's your read on the people in the towncore? Do you still trust them after the claims?

I'll be looking into everybody. I am just starting with my current POE and their interactions, because that will help to inform my view of my town reads. If enough people in my POE are bad fits together, then something must be off there.

I'll be reviewing the town reads in isolation after that. Until I do that, my gut read is my gut read. nutella still seems very town to me. Nanook seems a lot more town today than he did pre-claims. tutuu seems very town today including post-claims.

Esooa is a pretty strong town read that now finds herself in my POE just because there's room for her. So I am considering a lot of stuff right now.

1) I wouldn't do that because it's terrible behavior.

2) They said I was gaslighting them and treating them like they're town. That's just not what teammates say. It's very easy.

Confirmation bias may stand in the way, as well as people who are sick of the game and just want to force themselves into a solve so they can feel finished, but it's wrong.
