Yeah but you act as if it made you on a higher scale.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 12:08 pmSPF for sure. Just feels obviously town in the same way they've felt obviously town when I've played with town SPF before. I don't think I've seen scum SPF before so I could just be wrong but for now, she's at the top of my list.
Falcon is probably my second top town read. Same issue as with SPF, me not knowing his scumgame, but he feels like he feels as a townie, aggressive in a good way.
He also said he didn't know or care what alignment Bo and I are.ChopChop wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 11:43 amHow does this contradict though?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 10:29 ampeopleseyebrow.gif
Those statements seem to contradict. Do you think we're likely members some lesser scum group or what?
It just means he would be willing to vote you he’s just not overly confident your groupscum.
Is he suppose to vote an imaginary SR instead?![]()
For the record, I don't have a strong opinion about Urist's alignment and the "this seems to contradict" should be interpreted as "can you elaborate?" not "this is a scummy thing to say."
That's a joke. I asked Urist a question and he left without answering.
Also, your reads are like? Basic? If that makes sense.
Like “I TR them because when I played with them they played like this but IDK if they can do that as scum”
Pretty basic if you ask me.

what happened to your read on foresight?Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 2:14 pmOf the current options, Bo would be getting my vote 99 times out of 100. I have been reading Foresight as town for most of the day, but his most recent behavior feels kind of like a wolf who has gone into self-destruct mode to protect their partners. But I can also still see him as a frustrated civilian in an unfamiliar environment. I get the sense based on some of the things he has done and said that games tend to go differently where he is from than they do here.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 2:00 pm Let's pretend that if I was gonna iso people for their opinions, I'd just do it.
I have not seen Bo do a single thing that made me read him as town. I liked Alison's point about his reads list format mirroring somebody else's. That he produced a reads list at all while otherwise appearing totally disengaged does not bode well.
KZA is somebody I think should be getting more scrutiny. He's been almost pathologically stubborn in his mission to avoid giving detailed thoughts on things. Go scan his ISO and look for a thought that requires more than one line of text.
I currently lean town on you. Esooa, Dom, and Alison are comfortable town reads. Other town reads of varying strength include Martin, Epi, Long Con, falcon, and TSP.
Anyone not mentioned is either someone I have no read on, or I have unspecified concerns about, or are SPF.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 1]
He reads like he wants to die, and his volatility doesn't make sense to me. I have been reading him as Frustrated Town In A New Environment, and a big part of me still sees it that way, but there is also a part of me that thinks he's mafia who does not believe he is capable of overcoming the early pressure he has faced, and so he has tried to draw as much attention to himself to keep us from identifying any of his partners too easily. I didn't think any of the things he said to/about Alison made sense last night, for instance.

Re: Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [Day 1]
I do not feel like this sort of thing is usually indicative of a mafioso, especially one of Alison's caliber. I think it is more likely the case whenever this happens that the person just is not interested in continuing the conversation in that direction/does not feel it's necessary to do so. Or sometimes people simply forget about things, not that I would think that has happened here.c4e5g3d5 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:06 pmOh you could've just asked about that.
There is a lot going on, and it seems like conversations with/about you have been multi-faceted. It is difficult to follow when a conversation branches off into five different arguments. It's usually more productive to focus on a few key things. I don't look at Alison skeptically if she dropped an item or two.
That said, I have not read the conversation in question. I'm not sure I'm interested in it at this time.

Okay, that's one thing, how about saying "you're scummy for saying that relaxation is towny" in the first place?Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:19 pmI do not feel like this sort of thing is usually indicative of a mafioso, especially one of Alison's caliber. @Sloonei thoughts on ChopChop? I searched through your 230+ posts and found somehow only a single mention/interaction.
And it's not even on topic content.

Vote count goes 6 5 4 3 and I should change names with DOO to make the poll prettier.

His opening started with poorly timed shitposting and then it turned into shitposting at any cost necessary. TWTBAW-ish. Like I've said before.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:24 pmBad luck? I mean, my reasoning for suspecting Chop is role fishing from Tony and then what I see as a dishonest push against me.
Why do you townread him?

I have no idea because I'm not Alison, I don't know the context, and I don't know for sure that she actually said those specific words. I'm sure there is a context in which that would be a valid thing to say.c4e5g3d5 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:21 pmOkay, that's one thing, how about saying "you're scummy for saying that relaxation is towny" in the first place?Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:19 pmI do not feel like this sort of thing is usually indicative of a mafioso, especially one of Alison's caliber. I have no strong read on them. Gun to my head, I would lean town. If I have a concern, it is that they seem very comfortable remaining off the radar. I can't think of a single memorable thing they've done in this game.Marmot wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:24 pm @Sloonei thoughts on ChopChop? acknowledging that i've seen this. my feelings about foresight from earlier in the game still remain, but it's not a position i feel particularly good or confident about defending right nowSloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:01 pmHe reads like he wants to die, and his volatility doesn't make sense to me. I don't really agree with that. I mean, being comfortable remaining under the radar is probably townie behavior, but he's also asked multiple people (including myself) to give a read on him, which isn't really trying to be under the radar.Sloonei wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:29 pmI have no strong read on them.
