You weren't, but you did specifically say you're never voting to save me, the guy who's working hard to solve people, making good posts, and generally not being wolfy. So you coming out and saying you're never voting to save me strikes me as incredibly wolfy.Urist wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 2:26 pmSee I don't think a town reaction to "I'm not saving you" is to snarkily call me a wolf. Ok so you're saying that if you're town, misreading you is scummy. Got it. I'll just pretend that makes sense and doesn't look like you're looking for reasons to suspect people.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 2:29 pmYou weren't, but you did specifically say you're never voting to save me, the guy who's working hard to solve people, making good posts, and generally not being wolfy. Epi is confirmed town as Marmot’s mason.
Sheep my reads that Mac and HK are obvious town. HK thinks your slot is town. Mac suspects it. LC and JPIC are probably most consensus suspects but there’s not a real strong case there.
We haven’t yeeted a wolf so we’re not in the best spot.
Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
Question: Do the Mafia have to submit a list for ties every day?
Answer: No, if they choose not to submit, then the list that they have submitted on the previous day will carry over. Only if they have never submitted a list during the entire game, will then the tiebreaker default to alphabetical order.
Also, some extra elaborations:
-I'm counting 112 as the first name alphabetically, not the last
-TonyStarkPrime's name will count as "Dunya" if an alphabetical tiebreaker occurs

I don't trust the fact that you pushed so hard on ted for shitty reasons from d0. You tried to back up your argument by saying he was being defensive and deflecting, but you couldn't provide evidence for that. You pushed him and called him a lock wolf and were unwilling to reconsider your read on him until he was dead, and then after he flipped town you just moved on to the next person as if nothing happened. Your reads didn't change at all. I see no progression from you. You're just going down the line, locking in on easy targets and trying to get them executed. You tried going after Jack, and backed off after the slightest pushback.
Your turn, explain your read on me please.

Who's the easy target I'm locked onto now that I'm trying to get executed? You don't get to count there. I don't think I ever had a strong push on Jack, nor did I have them as a strong wolf read.
I had some concerns, he and I chatted, and actually formed a bit of a core yesterday (yes I walked that back with some cold feet, but then today has been better so whatever) so I dunno which HK you're reading but it's not an HK that's in this game.
Why do I wolf read you?
because you're less town than Me, Mac, Epi, Guillotine, TSP, Jack, Falcon, LC. You're about the same level of not town as 112 (which is one reason I wolf read you, your handling of that slot has been atrocious) and wigly. Slightly less town than JPIC and Enrique.
I don't see lots of solving, and I think your handling of 112 and that slot is super duper bad.
Basically, you're just not town enough to get a town read.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
There's a confusion here btw. Epi and Guill both got marked (if lynched make someone vig), Mac and Guill claimed to receive thopters (no idea what they do or how long they last, but Urist's warning applies), Guill got additionally cursed / post-limited. These all appear to be separate things.dunya wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 7:07 amthey've been "permanently" marked so until the marker flips, they should holster? mmm. don't like that plan.Urist wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 11:51 pm Btw @Guillotine @Epignosis I'd be wary of taking certain actions such as gifting mana to other players for as long as you have those thopters on you. Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
Actually we may know a bit more about the thopters - each of Mac and Guill said there vote was worth more if they voted against each other. I don't think they mentioned if that was just for today or if they know it's directly related to the thopters but I'll check their posts again.Enrique wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 4:46 pmThere's a confusion here btw. Everything we know about the thopters is in this exchange afaict. Guill doesn't mention getting a thopter but the other artifact that Mac got. So only Mac has come out as having a thopter.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:16 pmI received a similar artifact, my vote counts as three if I vote for Macdougall.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 8:55 pmI absolutely am not mafia. Hollowkatt is too.
I’ve been marked and i can only post 10 times today. So im gonna dip out.
I received two artifacts overnight. I received no additional mana so was unable to boost my thingy. One of my artifacts adds two votes to a named player and that player is Guillo. The other is a thopter and I have nfi what it does.

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
I'd consider 112 an easy target. Your reasoning on him is just "not solving". Your reasoning for why Bolas dug himself into a hole was "not solving". What is the definition of that? He's posting consistent reads in-thread, he tried to encourage ted to expand on his reads, he had a decent response when asked his thoughts of epi & marmot. Maybe I find it easier to read him because I come from a site where it's pretty normal to minimally expand on your reads, and I'm pretty sure the same applies for 112. But your read on him really looks like a wolf who sees a townie with a minimalist posting style and decides to go after him.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:58 pmWow that's incredibly reductive and wrong.Urist wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:48 pmAside from the above?hollowkatt wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 3:33 pmlol ok whatever. why do you have a wolf read on me?Urist wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 2:32 pmOk so you're saying that if you're town, misreading you is scummy. I also think you're trying to misrepresent my read on 112 as something more than it is. I see him as middling town. A lot of it recently has to do with the bad pushes on him, such as your own. But you and Mac are treating it like I have this god-read on 112 where I'm unwilling to consider the possibility that he's scum. That's not the case at all, but you're blowing up my read on 112 to try to make it look like I have TMI or something.

When I asked you how you read 112 you said you had them as about null or something to that effect. So I asked if 112 was coasting on your town read of Esooa and I don't remember an answer.
Frankly I think that's a horrible basis for a read.

I just finished work.
It should not take a half an hour to take attendance, even for extra classes.
I realize the Day ends in about five minutes, so if anybody wants to ask something before lock, go ahead. Sorry I can't be around.

It would appear that the Daylight saving things have caused a mysterious discrepancy.
According to google it is 6 PM EST now, which is normally the day end time
However my timezone (from Europe) hasn't changed. The day ends in 1 hour according to the polls that I have been making, and it was always 1 AM my time
To clarify, day ends in 1 hour. Post cap is now lifted. I will be looking into this DST shenanigans (is it something only for the Western hemisphere?), if anyone wishes to contact me about it please do so privately!

Re: Magic the Gathering Mafia - Day 3
Ok, so why did I swap to guillotine? There's enough people voting double that Guillo could potentially be randed the chop by virtue of everyone having one vote. I think the two most important people to prevent from being chopped are epi and guillo, mac shortly behind there.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 5:59 pmI was about to ask you specifically since I don't think Enrique will move off me if you're voting him.
Honestly I want another voter on LC too

Ideally, I want it to be between Wilgy and JPIC at 0 votes and with an extra voter on whoever Wilgy and JPIC are voting for.
If one is a townie, they'll go. RIP. Most acceptable loss in a bad scenario.
If both are wolves, we get two wolves.
Leaving 3 people tied means a townie gets yeeted unless we like properly called the entire mafia.

That's stupid. If wolves move at the last second to yeet Guillo, that outs two of them.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:05 pmOk, so why did I swap to guillotine? I'll trade Guillo for two wolves any day of the week.

So to cover we need another voter on Epi and another voter on Mac, right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time
"George Hudson proposed the idea of daylight saving in 1895"
"As a result, there is one 23-hour day in late winter or early spring and one 25-hour day in the autumn."
George Hudson has been chopped! He was: a silly person
Please adjust that the EoD will be in 53 mins from now, which means 7 PM EST from now on until the end of the game (I think)
