If I were bad, my Day 1 vote would have certainly been on Rej by the end of the day. Two Civs on the line, and the baddie comfortably a few votes lower? Easiest soft-bus ever. Makes speedchuck a little suspicious to me, but I'd need to see how his Day 2 Rej vote progression really went down.

This site is where I really flex my mafia skills.
I don't think people here are actually better than places like MU. But here we have a plethora of playstyles, a truly salad [giggles] of different people who are unpredictable in different ways.
Like... how the fuck do you even read LC? Look at the big post he just made above. That's some matrix shit right there. After you spend some time realizing the sheer hopelessness of trying to read LC, or the horror of arguing with Epi,

Too many townreads on me too early. Best to shake them off a bit, that's why I was "blurry" on Day 2. I stepped back from the game a bit and made some intentionally suspicious posts. Lemme go find them.
Actually before I get to them, Sloonei brought up this post:
Long Con wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:50 pmThis analysis is agreeable to me. I could switch to Drago.
... looking to pin me to a situation where I said "Rej or Drago maybe" before, but went with Drago. 1. I never switched to Drago, I kept my vote on Dom. 2. Dom and Drago were the tied voteleaders at five apiece at that point, while I think Rej just had two. My point is, it wasn't really a Rej-or-Drago situation by then. Less than ten minutes left in the lynch, Rej wasn't a viable option. I spoke about Drago (and not Rej) at that point for that reason.
Anyways, back to where I was like "f this town-read crap, I need to muddy myself.
Let's start with this one (that I haven't seen Sloonei reference):
Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:02 am
Sloonei wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 11:33 pmLC remains a firm town read. Please state your case if you disagree.
For what?
This is when my radar started pinging a lot, about Sloonei buddying me. So I voted for him, and tried to be a little scummy with my second vote:

Why?
It's provocative. It gets the people going.
LC remains a firm town read. Please state your case if you disagree.
For what?
I liked the tone of the way you handled the Dom suspicion yesterday. You stated the case, but indicated it was incomplete and not fully satisfying. It was enough for a vote, but you still appeared to be actively developing reads.
I don't like it. I think you're buddying me.
[VOTE:
Sloonei] aubergine
I'll put the second vote on Zemmi. I don't mind using the second lynch to cut an inactive.
[VOTE:
Zemmi] aubergine
... going for an inactive felt like something that should get a rise out of some players. It didn't really, as I recall. So...
Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:27 am
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 10:03 am
I'm thinking lynching zemmi is actually a good idea conceptually, now. But the fact so many people seem to be onboard with it is giving me pause.
Nah. Why would the Mafia team care about bussing a nonplayer member of their team? That's the easiest bus ever. I'll get on that boo vote.
[VOTE:
boo] aubergine
Even scummier! Where did my boo vote come from?? Had I ever talked about boo before? Come on, people.
But still, these unwelcome strong town reads....

It's a classic LC move.
I try to play it off. dunya didn't even bite. If she had, I probably would have followed up with some (truthful) thing about how I make the buddying accusation when I'm bad sometimes as well.
Actually, yeah, here we go, Colin DID question my crappy votes a little! I'll spoiler it because I want to include the gif that I really like:

What, you want me to do

Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 2:47 pm

[VOTE:
Tony] aubergine (<

Like, COME ON. Who's voting for me right now? Are you even playing this game, that you would vote for me and not even bring ANY of this crap up?
That's pretty much it for that. Do with it what you will, this is my honest play yesterday. You wanna vote me for not voting Rej, fine. Shame on you for not finding ANY of that other stuff suspicious.

RE: Long Con looking bad on purpose, I can buy the philosophy in principle as LC is an old schooler who came up in the days where survival was top priority. It’s believable for him to have an impulse to shake off town reads. I am weighing this as I consider his alignment in this game right now.
However, I have two concerns that are not (and frankly cannot) be covered by this point:
1) WIFOM. Just as town LC could be inclined to deter town reads, I could also see scum LC pulling this as a stunt to confuse or shake suspicion. I must also acknowledge that announcing this plan in this way kind of negates it a little, as we now must either believe him or doubt him. If we believe him then he is an even stronger town read than before, so what was the point?
2) None of the points he raised are related to my suspicion. There are two main points I have against him. The first is that he and Rej did not look great in their interactions with one another. The second is his vote for me, which he seems to be maintaining even after revealing his self-destruct plan.
He remains a suspect, but I an considering this newest development as I weigh my vote.

This newest development actually makes me more likely to leave my vote on him and push for his lynch.
As I've said this is the first game where I haven't been paranoid that he was bad, which in turn pinged me. LC now saying well he was trying to seem bad is a bad defense and isn't a defense that holds up. Especially paired with the fact he didn't vote for Rej.
I'm pretty sure either Sloonie or LC is bad, but not both.

My gut tells me to stick with LC. I’m revisiting Colin in my mind, but the end of Day 2 is keeping me from committing a vote to him. Creature and boo would be the other names on my shortlist. Creature’s recent flood of content and non-content alike does little for me.
