It doesn’t make sense. Are you scared that I kill you? If you’re certain I’m scum wouldn’t that just validate your case?

Yes. But then I’m not scum. So then when Sloonei said that I was sure I was scum, he wasn’t being honest.

If I say anything before night actions are locked, the door is open for shenanigans resulting from my theory. If I make vague pledges, no one knows what I’m thinking and bad guys can’t do anything to respond.

YOUR HOROSCOPE FOR TODAY

Sergeant Bit was a traditionalist. He liked to start his day with a mug of hot Java Script. Detective Byte, however, was of the younger, unconventional generation. He preferred an extra-large Hi-C++ smoothie first thing.

Regardless of their differences in morning rituals, they were in agreement that something was off today. It was quiet. Too quiet.

With their preferred beverages in hand, they made their rounds of the quarantined folder. There was no mess of ones and zeroes this dawn. Unconvinced of their good fortune, they made their rounds a second time. During this follow-up route, they looked closer, as if expecting to find a crime scene hidden from casual eyes. Still though, nothing.

“Do a head count,” Bit told his apprentice. But it only deepened the mystery.

“Nine, sir,” Byte reported. “Same as yesterday.”

“Curious,” Bit said as he sipped the last of his Java.

“What now?” asked Byte.

“We wait,” Bit replied. “Someone knows why there’s no corpse this morning. The question is who knows why and how they know why.”

That is wrong, by the way. TSP broke the tie. Sloon tied it again to save himself. The poll closed less than 30 sec after that so nobody was able to "let" anything about it.

So wilgy was around enough that he'd put in a night action meaning it was either strategic or blocked.

Strategically I can only think that either wilgy, mac, or sloonie would not submit a kill.

I'll be around more tomorrow. But I'm laying a vote on sloonie right now his last second vote save was meh and honestly he was one of my early suspects and I'm usually right about one of my early mafia reads.

I’m tired right now. Can’t you all just assume that I’ve done the Sloonei thing where I type a bunch of words and clip a bunch of quotes and say that they’re bad for reasons? It would really save me a lot of time and effort.

The thing is, I agreed with DDL's assessment of Tony last phase. I went to Tony's ISO to disprove DDL's read that Tony was one of the more solvey players, but it ended up with me agreeing.

Why is it Tony now, Sloon? Suddenly it's a Tony-or-Sloonei thing on the table, and I don't know if that's the right thing.

I’ll explain later. I don’t have energy right now. It has something to do with the way he approached the previous phase, but it is not limited to that.

I’ll link to another Tony scum game as a way of suggesting that “looking solvey” does not clear him of anything.

Yeah, but why? I'm all good with classic friendly Epi condescending thunderous judgments, but at this point in the game I'd really prefer to hear more relatable arguments for points. The "HORSESHIT" argument is going in my ears, but it isn't reaching my brain.

So either there is a blocker in town or mafia forgot to kill.

With two mafia left that is unlikely, but I wouldn't consider it impossible. Makes the chance one of those is wilgy huge since it's easier to justify one other player who came at night but didn't bother to send actions, than two players. Also that person would be used not to wsit for wilgy at this point.

But the blocker theory is also very viable, and in this case I have no idea. Maybe we hear a whisper from the wind or something.

Not sure how I feel about Sloon's TSP theory.

But TSP's Sloon theory is pretty meh. It makes sense for him to have waited till after the abilities lock. If anything it denies mafia a chance to control the wifom narrative.

In case the wind is silent I think I wanna lynch one of mac or wilgy.

I guess we need to play the lottery sooner or later.

Epi was integral to the Dom lynch and at least voted for Nova. The “Epi isn’t doing anything” narrative misses that Epi has had just as much direction as almost anyone else.
I hate this logic. Being in town lynches correlates very little with actually being scum.

That said, this fact is giving me pause about jumping on the Sloonei wagon, because it would be the third consecutive time I followed an Epi case. If Epi is bad he's playing me 3 times.
But I'm itching to break Sloonei just to see what's inside.
so not because he is scum but from curiosity? nagl

TSP i just like the vibe
Long Con idk
This is stupid. That post was obviously jest.

I'm not going to come here and outright say "I don't want to lynch scum" if I'm scum. I didn't start playing mafia yesterday.
i didn't want to be stupid, sorry if I was..
:sigh: i started to play one year ago and i played around 60-70 games. I am not a noob but not like someone who played for years.
Ok sorry if I offended you, I just got annoyed because you thought I had just came here and admitted to be scum.
it isn't an offense, no worries.

At the very least a chaotic eod more often than not means a baddie is in at least someone's crosshairs.

My vote was before the poll, by like 3 seconds. I'm posting that to be able to find it easier for when people do reads

This is some shade.

If whoever is it flips town, this may be some pre-emptive attempt to take town cred by shaming others.
I disagree. It just looks genuine to me. Sig is probably town.

Or maybe I just like shaming people. Also hey your name was up there to this could've just as easily been a Wilgy lynch.

Timmer, being around is a meaningless note here. Scum could've been around and led the switch, which is what I think happened. I don't see what that has to do with it tbh.
So you... know creature's alignment already, prelynch? How about we wait to see how this goes before you declare it bad, hmm?
I'm just proactive if creature flips mafia then oopsies guess I need to revisit my outrage. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, I kinda doubt that'll happen CFD type shenanigans rarely seem to catch baddies especially with how this one happened.

timmer wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:43 pm If creature flips town, who do you think was being saved, Sig?
I saved Long Con by forcing you and Quin to move your votes off of him after you'd half-heartedly put them there a minute earlier.
Sloonei wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:51 pm
Quin wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2020 10:49 pm Like, I've got this whole "Sloonei tried to get people off the temmie LC wagon and succeeded only to have votes put on temmie Creature's wagon so he started firing off other names in desperation" kind of thing in my head but I'm gonna try not to tunnel. Just wanted to put the theory out there while we see if it's even got legs.
but... i started the creature avalanche.

also not that this matters at all, but i was about to switch to LC just to ensure we didn't end in a tie before you all started saying LC was a lame lynch.

I still think that all 4 of us who were here are town. I think it's baloney that I would be singled out as some sort of ringleader.
