I'm growing a playoff beard for the Stanley Cup Playoffs even though my team didn't even make the cut. Here are my pics so far:

April 10th- the last time I shaved (and the last day of the regular season). My daughter was baptized this day.

MAN what a stupid looking baby. I can't figure out if there are any marbles rolling around upstairs or not. The smile is dopey and the nose completely misshapen. Ghastly.

A few more playoff beard pics:

June 5th- This was the only picture I got of myself that Sunday. We were on our way up to the Poconos for my cousin's graduation party. We stopped in Hazleton for a pit stop, a bottle, and a diaper change.

June 12th- Back to bald and the Pens win the Cup! I didn't grow the beard for the Pens but it worked out that I grew the beard the year my #2 team won the Cup. Had they lost Game 6, this picture would have been me frowning.

June 13th- Now for a little fun! It took me longer to ditch the facial hair but I had fun along the way. First up, a game of Dazzling Princess with Chloe.

June 14th- I trimed it all back to a uniform-ish length of 1/2". Most of the beard grew somewhere between 5/8" and 3/4" because when I used the 5/8" clip I took a little off all over.

June 16th- I wanted to get a picture of me with my dad while I still had the beard. I've only ever seen dad clean-shaven once in my whole life. To be fair, he wasn't wearing shoes in this picture but I was, so he's not as short as this picture makes him look.

I just realized I've never posted photos here!! So, for those of you that haven't seen me, some recent pictures:

This is me, before I did anything strange to my hair, on a really nice day in DC:

A short while later, after going purple, and all decked out for Chanukkah:

Next hair color, In Israel in Tel Aviv on a graffiti tour:

Also in Israel, at the post office, really proud of having successfully sent a package to Australia for the gift exchange (on New Years Day, because how often do you get to send mail on New Years Day)...also, accomplished while not entirely awake and somewhat hung over:

Final hair color, at the women's march:

The next day, having shaved my head (for childhood cancer. Feel free to donate: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/rabbiisa5777 And you can still see some of the color on my scalp, which is amusing.

At the airport protest a week later (I just really like this picture of me and I love my sign):
