quirks don't actually do that much damage to town communication, and if they wanted to do damage to town communication, Creature could have chosen 17 other people. It is not unusual for scum to target other scum with benign abilities to distance.

I think it is likely they didn't pick marmot as their target. We don't know who the target was.

Marmot died the night that I redirected Lawpy on to Marmot, assuming Lawpy was the most likely choice to make the NK. (I tried to redirect Lawpy onto genny, but my role had to involve one player from each community).

I agree. Lawpy used the Zenge's falcon obsession to try to shade sloonei and I.

Is this really the place to play a game. I always felt this was a forum to, well, play a game, and discuss issues pertaining to the mafia game player. Interesting. Before I start analyzing this reads list, I should note that Genny is almost definitely in damage control mode here. I am narrowing my eyes at Neon and Santy in the list of town reads, but I don't think it's suspicious that either of them are listed here. Dennis and SAR getting their own distinct "neutral" tier is noteworthy.

BUT what's most interesting here is the SAR/Seanzie slip up. Genny accidentally lists SAR twice, in two different tiers, then corrects it to say that the second SAR is supposed to be Seanzie. I would not be surprised if one of these two is her partner, and she was hyper conscious of where she was listing them here, but couldn't quite make up her mind. My gut instinct is that this reflects more poorly on SAR than Seanzie.

This exchange doesn't feel like teammates, but i'm not totally sure why at first glance. Maybe it's Santy informing Genny of his new residence in the POE. Cool. Nate comes out looking the best of all the living players. He's really the only living person who I'd say looks definitively good. Santy gets a slight town lean, and maybe SVS too, but her good look came at a point where Genny was on her way out.

SAR, Seanzie, Miranda, and mighty all deserve a little more scrutiny off the back of this.

Dennis was mentioned literally once in this entire ISO, and it was as a "neutral" slot in Genny's reads list. I don't think that reflects poorly on Dennis. I feel like Genny would have acknowledged him sooner, and more readily, if they were aligned together. She showed more willingness to talk about Falcon and Lawpy, although not that much. And the Lawpy stuff had to be dragged out of her. So maybe it is worth looking into Dennis more. Meh.

The energy in this exchange feels real. Dya calls Seanzie out for doing something repeatedly, and Seanzie has no memory of it. This is not a disagreement that I think could be faked. But it being sincere does not have to mean that they are not aligned. With that said, I might be willing to award Seanzie with the slightest of townie points for this.

But a take away I had from my reading was the interaction between Zenge and Sporty in regards to me

We’ve established I’m pretty new to WW, but I don’t think there is anyone who has reliably tone read me across games.

I’m going this way because of the reaction Sporty had to Zenge questioning her, which did come off quite defensive.

This post comes at the tail end of an extended conversation about Dya's read on SportPonies. Dya had defended SP from an accuation about defensiveness, but people (pyxxy) called Dya out for this seemingly out-of-the-blue read. After a bit of back-and-forth, an exasperated Dya cites Miranda's SportPonies suspicion. I think this reflects well on Miranda. It suggests that Dya was earnestly reading Miranda's posts, and felt compelled to respond indirectly to something Miranda had said.

That's mostly the end of Dya's posts discussing living people besides myself. There was not a ton here. But I feel slightly better about Miranda than I did before, so that's something.

I get to Lawpy's posts sometime tomorrow.

My treatment of Genny yesterday was completely silly and careless if I am her teammate. In terms of both my vote and my night action and discussion of it.

On Day 1, I provided the counterwagon to Creature while also prominently associated myself with Falcon’s name in the thread. That is also silly and careless if I am either of their partners, especially Creature.

Also, I’m just dripping with honesty and sincerity. Can’t you tell!

I have to agree, the point of that was to set up Santy.

From my perspective, Miranda had been pocketing Mac for a few days now. But I think he might have had a different perspective after Gennys yeet, and might have outlived his usefullness to Miranda as well.

So I'm gonna drop a vote on Miranda, cause guys, she's waffly, evasive and bad. In before Neon starts yelling at me about how a day one vote from a posited teammate makes her town; in Cosmere, I voted for my teammate Falcon on Day 1 for distancing, and got stuck in traffic and couldn't move my vote in time and he was yeeted. I DID look into falcon and creature, just because I didn’t do a million quotes doesn’t mean I didn’t

I did place suspicion on creature and I regrettably went with marmot because I honestly felt better about those voting there at that time. Especially since I had limited time I didn’t really have a lot to go on.

More than just these two have made these takes, but I don't get it. Anyone who was around at EoD saw Mac recanted their Santy read. It was becoming clear that Mac was getting townread and doing a good job town leading, so that's enough to make the kill on it's own. In a slightly more conceited way, I actually kind of suspect there is at least one TSer left as a wolf because they know I sometimes push Mac quite hard and it pushes him off his game, and I didn't do that this game, and once they realized I wasn't going to do that, the last reason to keep Mac alive was gone, leading to the kill.

That being said, my point here is that Mac's kill doesn't really say anything about Santy's alignment IMO. I am not interested in going for Santy right now, but if anyone is saying "I townread Santy because Mac died", I will not acknowledge this as a legitimate reason to townread them and will expect more to substantiate it.
