Yeah, I know, but playing the old school way recently with Tranq & aapje made me nostalgic for the days when you only bussed people by necessity. I tried to explain the way people bus all over the place here to the point that we wifom about bussing, and he was like

Actually, I think I've only bussed a teammate once on this site.

I don't like bussing a teammate as a tactic in general, but I had never done it before (despite people's impression that I do it regularly), so I thought I'd give it a try for once.

That's funny, NF doesn't show birthdays so I guess you guys are the only ones who know.

On the bussing thing, I liked that game because of the experience it gave me. I actually attempted a similar thig in another game I played later on. I was getting lynched on day 1 so I tried to save myself by starting a wagon on the most powerful member of my baddie team. I got lynched anyway, but my partner escaped from being suspected until day 5, when one of the civs actually bothered to look closely at day 1 and realize what had happened.

It's amazing how effective this stuff can be. Bussing catches everyone off-guard.

Thank you everyone. You are all so sweet. Epi is making me pinwheel steak with spinach and cheese, asparagus, and French bread. He also brought home a cheesecake! I haven't had a birthday cake in years! Next weekend (since this weekend is already booked up) we plan to take the kids roller skating to celebrate as a family and then have friends over in the evening for tapas and booze. You are all welcome to join :-D
