There is a larger chance Bull's is mafia imo. I'll be switching to him.

I'm tempted to switch to Bullz, but I think I'll let fate decide. He is sick.

I try to tell the ladies that I'm pretty good at it, but they don't believe me or something. :sigh:

DAY 1 ENDS

There was much shouting and raising of fists. Many of the signs wanked into the thread and released on this day. Many of the Signs worked together to form a sight that the Syndicate thought it would never see again: a four-way tie.

But alas, the four-way tie was short-lived, and two of the Signs managed to stand out from the group even more: A Pisces and a Capricorn.

At the last moment, one Sign let his sexual anxiety show. Jealous and disheartened he was that he couldn't be part of this tie, he broke it. He came at the last second, and fired his vote on poor, old G-Man.

But this Pisces wouldn't allow for it. Nope, he escaped the Virgo-fever at the last second, and will live another day.

No one has been lynched. It is now Night 1. You have ~24 hours to submit any night actions.

Ok then

And Wilgy, I don't understand the point of your game? If you are asking me who I think is bad, ask me that. But asking me to say if I were bad my teammate would be... Makes no sense. The only purpose I can see is to spread some kind of disinformation in the case that a baddie plays your game and then gets lynched. No information from a confirmed baddie can really be trusted so what good will it do us to play this game? I'm not getting it.

Under this worthwhile endeavor, I am suspicious of Bullzeye, Epignosis, and SVS. More thorough review is needed to solidify these quick, crude suspicions though.

They are just two of my three most suspicious players right now. I will analyze the votes and posts tomorrow before the night post. Unfortunately, my gun-to-head reads are more guesswork than they are wily intuition. Right now, however, it is time for me to head to bed.

If you have the same role as him, what do you think about the potential third power role? Do you think it is the same as both of yours? Do you think there would be one for mafia, one for town and one for rogue/independent? When will Wilgy give me back my fish hat?

Impossible to know at this point.

Here's the thing. If Epi's vote was a save, it was an incredibly transparent one. But in a game like this, where the Day 1 loss of a teammate would be devastating, it might be worth it in the hopes of playing the WIFOM. I think I would be up for a Bullz or Epi lynch tomorrow to test this theory.

Also, I don't know what you're talking about "the potential third power role". What makes you think there are only three power roles? Who said there were Indies? I think you assume a lot.

This is what I'm talking about with the wild speculation, people. Side-eye Chloe over here wants to lead us down this blind alley of guessing about the different role powers, when we have concrete data from the lynch votes and from the fact that C-Man survived the lynch to go on. Do not be deceived nor distracted. Yeesh.

The rules of a heist are that there are never more than 3 power roles, isn't that right?

I'm just putting forward a hypothetical on something I thought when two supposed lynch proofs appeared. Also, who said there weren't Indies? The thought was considered early on and I'm just bringing it up again.

I posted on one of them and I didn't post on the other. Bullzeye has a British accent that girls find hot, so I probably should've voted him instead. :sigh:
Valid point.

The weird thing is that I apparently have the same power as C-Man, and I am civ. So I have to wonder whether a) he is lying b) there is more than one civ with the same power or c) he is a baddie counterpart to my civvieness.

If. :sigh:

The kill counts as a power, correct?

What is there to say to your rainbow list? It is a list of names. You didn't offer any elaboration on anything so it's hard to offer commentary.

Also G-Man has a very interesting definition of having been absent. I was posting through day 0, which was a quiet day where not much happened, and was in bed for the first 9 hours of today. It's not like I'm a no-show.

What's RYM?
RYM (RateYourMusic) is my home mafia site. I invited you here and not there because the RYM Off-Topic board is currently locked and no new members can post there. It's a lovely website though. Not half as lovely as the Syndicate, of course.

G-man has taken a different approach on Day 1 than his usual style, but during the last Heist (Arrested Development) he talked about his usual approach of vote analysis is ineffective in this sort of game, so he'd need to try something new in future Heists. His Day 1 behavior fits that pretty well.

Wilgy's post history is baffling, but I've come to understand that's just his thing.

I want to get you some ice cream or something.

Nice to see some of you are up for an easy bandwagon on someone who isn't going to defend themselves ;) Hadn't realised it suddenly became completely unacceptable to randomize on day 1 of a game with minimal discussion. I'd usually have voted a low poster but just didn't feel like it this time because the game has been generally pretty quiet.
Sloonei wrote:
sig wrote:I don't like Bull's vote for Sorsha, it seems like a good excuse to cast a vote without having to back it up. I especially don't like that this is such a small game and he randomized his vote.

Thoughts on this?
It's certainly not an ideal method for casting a vote, but I can understand the sentiment. I'd like to see him at least take a stab at giving a reason, but if he sincerely felt any reason he could offer would be contrived and false, then randomizing isn't much worse. I can't help but acknowledge that's absolving himself of any guilt in the process, though. It will be damning if he remains non-committal down the line.
What guilt is that? I didn't have a reason to vote for anyone so I just threw out a random one. It's really not a big deal people do it all the time.
Sorsha wrote:Is that video showing up?

Is it acceptable to no u vote bullz since his voted sucks so bad? I'm only half joking, I don't have any good suspicions now.
It's not like you were ever in any danger anyway. If the randomizer had fallen to someone with votes, I wouldn't have voted that person.

What exactly is wrong with the first post? Llama shouldn't be surprised there wasn't much initial response to his list, and G-Man's vote for me was ridiculous.
sig wrote:There is a larger chance Bull's is mafia imo. I'll be switching to him.
Interesting how you suddenly come rushing out to save G-Man when you think he's in danger. I don't see how there's a larger chance at all, all I did was randomize a vote on day one in a small, quiet game. People are acting like I microwaved their families.

OK, I thought we had 48 hour days? Isn't that what the heist guidelines say?

I had work related, and the poll ended last night?

No, I had work related, corporate came in, and for the first time I was on their dinner/drinks list. I went, lol. I honestly thought it was a 48 hour day.

Day 0 and 1 may have lacked substance but it wasn't quiet. I think 6.5 pages of posts by lynch #1 is pretty vocal. Maybe not for full games, but for a heist game it's good. We're running about even with Arrested Development's post count at the moment. I don't necessarily want you lynched yet but you're not making sense. I'm at work but I will run some ISO's during lunch hour.

Okay it's a relatively busy game but I hadn't seen anything I found suspicious so I made a completely justified decision that lots of people make in similar situations.

Im still pinged a little by Llama but not so much as before. I don´t think Im going to vote for him/her next day phase, as there will likely be better lynch candidates.

Regardless, I think Nero should be lynched on grounds that he's my partner, your partner, Enrique's partner, the Joker, the Riddler, the Gingerbread Man, and Toto.

Bullzeye is claiming that randomized votes are not uncommon, but where I come from they sre so rare that to do it once would pretty much be a death sentence. Can anyone back him up on that?
