The Fall and Rise of Epignosis

Everyone had assembled in the CIC, understanding that their next task was to determine who, in the fleet, was a cylon. Everyone was on the hunt.

"I have thoroughly analized the Galactica" said Vompatti "and I can't find cylons everywhere."

"The cylons are missing!" declared Scotty "I accuse my vacuum cleaner."

"Nibble Nibble" said Nibbler

"Well, it's been nice hanging with you all, but I'm just pooping out." said ika

"Poop" said indiglo. "lol, poop."

The room suddenly fell to silence, as Adama opened a note and read it:

"The Cylons look like us now" said Adama. "They could be any one of us."

Everyone immediately panicked. S~V~S ran around the room screaming. Ricochet put his hands over his ears and swayed from side to side. Even juliets, known for her calm aura, was pale.

Metalmarsh covered his eyes with his hands and started running at full speed. Everyone moved out of his way, seeing how dangerous he was. Bea screamed 'stop Metalmarsh'. G-Man sad something, but no-one else could speak meme. Metalmarsh didn't stop, and he ran hard into Epignosis back. Epi fell into the airlock and, with his shoelace tangled on the handle, tugged the door closed behind him. Just as it happened, Polo sat on the airlock button, and Epignosis was sucked into the void.

Epignosis has been lynched. He was Sharon "Athena" Agathon.
Epignosis has been resurrected.

It is now Night One, which will last for 24 hours.

i mean when i did my post to silver in turf, all i wanted to do was one of those 2 things.

i know it is never her intention to bring a RL situation to a game, and she is still dealing with the results and has a lot of emotional distress due to it and mafia has been her way of escaping it.

So, for folks not familiar with the show. Here's some info on 'Athena" from the BSG Wiki:

Sharon Agathon

The Cylon who eventually comes to be known as Sharon "Athena" Agathon is a Number Eight humanoid Cylon copy.

She is first encountered by Karl "Helo" Agathon when he is stranded on Caprica. Initially assigned to seduce him by impersonating Lieutenant Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, as part of a Cylon cross-breeding experiment, she turns against her people and helps him escape the planet. Pregnant with Helo's child, Helo is shocked by her true nature but ultimately accepts her lovingly as the mother of his child.

Once on Galactica, she is imprisoned and long seen as a mere object. She frequently provides intelligence, but is severely mistreated by an interrogator from Pegasus who beats and sexually assaults her. Over time, she earns Admiral Adama's trust by helping the Colonial Fleet escape peril several times, and she is eventually appointed as a Colonial Officer and marries Karl Agathon. Agathon gives birth on Galactica, but her daughter, Hera, is subsequently hidden from her, because President Roslin considers the baby a threat to the Fleet. Agathon believes Hera to be dead for more than a year, but after learning the truth about her child during a confrontation with Valerii, she is able to regain her daughter from the Cylons with the help of Caprica-Six.

She later has to deal with Boomer returning, beating her terribly, seducing Helo and kidnapping Hera. This causes her to fall into a depression until she finally rescues Hera during a final battle that destroys the Cylons. Also she gets some revenge for what Boomer did by being the one to permanently kill her. Afterwards, she gets to live out a peaceful existence on new Earth with her husband and daughter.

So, duh, clearly a Cylon. So if we understand the game dynamic to be human vs. Cylon (as Town vs Scum) then he needs to go. If we look at it from a show perspective, Athena was one of the few Cylons who became loyal to the human cause.
