Re: Night 4- BLUE vs. RED
SUDDENLY I SEE
(WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25, 2017)
BRIAN KILMEADE: Good morning everybody. It is Wednesday, January 25th. The hits just keep on coming for Hillary Clinton. Fox News has confirmed that longtime Clinton ally Cheryl Mills has resigned from her position as White House Chief of Staff as of early this morning. Rumors of her potential departure began to swirl as early as Sunday.STEVE DOOCY: And who can really blame her? The Clinton Administration has been a mess and it hasn't even been a full week yet. Between this mysterious Operation Cobalt challenging the legitimacy of the election, her Vice President exceeding his authority at best, sexual impropriety by her husband, the Podesta emails, and now dissent and turmoil amidst her White House staff, she hasn't even been able to get to work on any policy issues.
AINSLEY EARHARDT: This has even some Democratic lawmakers concerned already as to how these controversies and stumbles may impact her ability to get anything done with a Republican-majority Congress.
BRIAN KILMEADE: And when you consider that there wasn't much goodwill left for Congress to extend to begin with, you have to wonder if all of the Clinton political capital of old has lust it's luster.
STEVE DOOCY: Or maybe it was just Fool's Gold to begin with.
AINSLEY EARHARDT: Whatever the reasons for Cheryl Mills' departure, her nearly silent exit speaks volumes.
BRIAN KILMEADE: In other news, the White House announced this morning that it has terminated the controversial voting experiment enacted by a recent executive order. When asked for more details...

Assuming you are civ, his exit strategy would be the same as that of anyone who leads a lynch on a civ. "Oops, I was wrong. I feel stupid." If notsawyer is bad, I bet MM is bad too.
I imagine them in BTSC, MM's teammates frustrated that he has pledged to not Night kill me (thanks MM!), but having to do something about me. So they go balls to the wall to get me lynched, unaware that they cleared me Night 1.
And even if notsawyer isn't bad, I bet MM is bad anyway.

Next, let's look at this post. MM was the first one to point out that women were being killed. Could be sincere, or he might be lampshading his own strategy. Or if I were a Freudian, I might say it looks like guilt over his kill targets coming out. Again, I lay the post before the court.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
The last thing about Metalmarsh; his suspicion of Epi.
I don't quite know what to make of this. The very first suspicion MM posted was of Epi for not playing hard enough. Then he flopped back and forth between civ and bad Epi for another couple of days before solidifying on Day 3. I asked him to explain his suspicion and he said it was "infoil" and refused to elaborate. After Quin's death, he's been more insistent still. As noted above, he also said " I woulda killed Epi night 1" which indicates a love of WIFOM as well as a desire to get Epi out of the game.
So basically, MM has wanted Epi gone with increasing intensity since Day 1.
Why?
Could be a genuine suspicion. And MM said all his suspicions are genuine, but the flopping back and forth seems odd in that case, as well as his brief attempt to partner with Epi to lynch me yesterday.
Could be a fear of being caught by Epi. As someone who has been caught by Epi many times, I can relate to that. But in that case why not just kill him at night? I have to mull.
Going to read Skeletor now.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
So here's the thing about Epi. A lot of his gameplay doesn't make sense to me.
Why did he argue so hard to prevent Jack from being lynched?
Why has he defended Sawyer so hard?
Why have his accusations of other players been so scattershot? I'm pretty sure at this point he has gone after everybody.
I have a hard time believing that Epi, even at his ballsiest, would stick his neck out so far to defend an outed teammate. Then again, if anyone would, he would. Either way, it's bizarre behavior.
I think the answer to the third question is fishing for reactions, which is something I associate with civvies more than baddies.
It has been pointed out thta odd behavior des not necessarily mean baddie behavior, and while I would certainly call Epi's behavior this game odd, I do not believe that he is bad.

My qualm with this behavior: Epignosis wanted to keep jack alive for the purpose of observing his behavior and hunting for baddies based on that. But the problem is, Epignosis did none of that, and even promoted the opposite when Quin promoted the idea of lynching him.thellama73 wrote:<snip>

I don't think Epi's reasoning for keeping Jack alive was to observe him. As I recall, he always advocated ignoring him. He just thought lynching him was a waste of a day, since we already knew his role. At least that was my understanding.Marmot wrote:My qualm with this behavior: Epignosis wanted to keep jack alive for the purpose of observing his behavior and hunting for baddies based on that. I have a hard time believing that Epi, even at his ballsiest, would stick his neck out so far to defend an outed teammate. Then again, if anyone would, he would. Either way, it's bizarre behavior.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
I would be fine with either Notsawyer or MM, but it seems like it's going to be between Epi and MM, and I see the case on MM, whereas I'm reading Epi as civ.

It's far too early to say who it's going to be between.DFaraday wrote:I would be fine with either Notsawyer or MM, but it seems like it's going to be between Epi and MM, and I see the case on MM, whereas I'm reading Epi as civ.
I hope I am not stuck in an endgame scenario with MM and Wilgy. Civilians will lose.

Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
One without Sawyer as I'm having trouble determining if he's just wrong and without Epi as I'm having trouble determining if his play is civvy or not. Ideally we lynch both and they flip bad, then game over and I will be satisfied. I do not think that this is a realistic case however.Long Con wrote:What's your ideal endgame scenario?
Re: Day 5- BLUE vs. RED
I don't know. All I'm saying is that if I lose because Wilgy or MM honestly think I killed Eloh Night 1, that will be a new level of boneheadedness on their part.Long Con wrote:What's your ideal endgame scenario?

You're pushing that point so hard, it's starting to have the opposite effect on me. I'm going to place a vote on you for now.Epignosis wrote:I don't know. Hmm... we also can't have this scenario if you are dead before endgame.Epignosis wrote:It's far too early to say who it's going to be between.DFaraday wrote:I would be fine with either Notsawyer or MM, but it seems like it's going to be between Epi and MM, and I see the case on MM, whereas I'm reading Epi as civ.
