Typical executive order. Sloppily drafted. Overly vague.

It's not dated properly either (unless it was written yesterday).

Also, apparently the author thinks Rodham is Hillary's middle name, instead of her maiden name.

I don't know. All I'm saying is that if I lose because Wilgy or MM honestly think I killed Eloh Night 1, that will be a new level of boneheadedness on their part.
You're pushing that point so hard, it's starting to have the opposite effect on me. I'm going to place a vote on you for now.

Vote Epignosis
I don't believe you.

Because now I'm a confirmed civilian.

If you lynch me, you are either bad or a fool.
That is a good point.
If it was a good point Day 3, then it's a good point Day 5, and how hard I push that point does not diminish the goodness of the point.

Voting Long Con.

MM had two votes, tied with me, and LC gives a demonstrably insincere reason for voting me to put me in the lead over MM. I wonder why.

Consider this too, dear civilians:

There are 8 people left. If you lynch me, there will be 7. Then mafia kills, bringing the total to 6.

That's 4 vs. 2. That's going to be the last time you get to lynch anybody if you don't get it right.

And I'm going to keep my foot on the gas: Would I kill Eloh- someone notorious for following my votes at least early on- Night 1?

If your answer to that is "Yes," then either you are bad or

I would say that the Presidential Order means we won't be able to post on Night 5. Probably.

RIP Floyd. :(

Here are my thoughts now that I've caught back up:

llama - Still going along with Quin's idea that I'm bad because of one post I made on the first day. I find llama's piggybacking on this all the way into Day 5 to be pretty suspicious. Let's not forget too that llama was the penultimate person to vote to save me yesterday. Why save me and then immediately turn around and vote for me the next day? Definitely high on my suspects list.

Marmot - One of the original people to suggest not lynching Jack, who then piggybacked on my attack on Epi. As far as the whole "Epi is still alive so Marmot is bad" thing goes, I can see some validity in that argument in that Marmot tried to get Epi lynched when I was going after him but then backed off when it was clear it wouldn't work. Marmot comes off as opportunistic imo

DFaraday - He hasn't said much of substance other than that he's fine with Marmot or me getting lynched. No elaboration.

Epi - Helped save me yesterday despite my attacks. This could've been a baddie tactic to keep the vote between two civs and gain the trust of his most vocal opponent if it was successful. I'm still on the fence about him.

My vote will most likely be going to llama or Marmot today, but Dfaraday isn't far behind on my suspects list.

Wanton and deliberate misrepresentation. I never piggybacked on Quin's suspicion of you. I am barely even aware of Quin having a suspicion of you. My suspicion of you is my own, and you misrepresenting it doesn't make you look better.

Yeah, sorry I'm not impressive. I just get ideas in my head and try them.

How do you figure out who's bad? I don't even know. Sometimes, there's some stuff that looks bad, but everyone's so good at giving reasons for their behaviour, convincing reasons! So, what do you do, automatically ignore those reasons? That's tunnelling. If that's the case I should be voting Llama.

I don't know how to figure out who's lying. So I try things. Gambits, though that's a grandiose name for some of the attempts. I don't think you believe that makes me bad. I'd like to hear Marmot's case anyway though.

:haha: Sometimes everyone just seems so Civ. I'm also following the Game of Champions. bea? What a land mine. I think maybe I've been burned too many times recently, lynched too many Civs. I'll get my groove back at some point, but I really feel useless right now in this game.

Mac maxes out my suspiciometer every time he posts. You, llama, made me really suspicious earlier, and I do feel like lynching you is something I will take part in, if it happens.

Marmot has given me a couple of good pings, including voting for me.

You're bad and this post is one where you cover your tracks.

Rather than give your real opinions on things, you're just trying to smear your views so when you do get lynched and revealed, nobody can make sense of your posts.

I will say, I'm having trouble buying the "oh, I'm so confused" defense from LC. He's one of the most confident and capable mafia players I know. This doesn't seem like him. It seems like a ploy.

MM said he was going to vote you and named reasons he would cite later.

You said you were going to analyze MM and vote him.

I'm not impressed.

You've tried multiple ideas.

What have you done with them?

You defended llama acting like you were a power role.

You said you were going to put up a huge case on MM.

You voted me to get reactions.

I don't see you doing anything with any of that.
Well, I was a leader in the Quin lynch. You don't have to see me doing stuff for me to be doing stuff. Leave me alone. I'm not bad, you don't have to do this. I'm sorry for not being effective.

Linki: Come on, man, don't do this. I'm not smearing my views, and I'm not writing right now for some sinister after-lynch smearing plan. That's crazy talk, Epi, I'm just posting real shit.
You use me as bait when I'm already the front-runner for being lynched? No. Not your biggest fan.

I don't really feel like it was a defense. More like an apology. And I don't think I'm confused, I just can't tell who to believe right now.

As far as the whole "Epi is still alive so Marmot is bad" thing goes, I can see some validity in that argument in that Marmot tried to get Epi lynched when I was going after him but then backed off when it was clear it wouldn't work. Marmot comes off as opportunistic imo
1) When did I suggest not lynching jack?

2) I did not piggyback on your Epignosis attack, I have my own reasons. And even if I did, you're going to have a difficult-ass time lynching people if you're going to suspect the people who have the same targets.

3) I backed off because I don't want to spend all my time focusing on one player. But, I keep coming back to him based on things that he says.

I find your reasons for voting me invalid. Try again.

Going back to what I had to say about Long Con earlier (I was phone-posting, the reason I couldn't state them then).
Long Con wrote:
Marmot wrote:Thanks for the protection whoever protected me.
I didn't protect you, I protected Epignosis!
There's this post, where Long Con jokingly suggested that he protected Epignosis.
Long Con wrote:1. Where you stand on notsawyer and why.
I'm kind of okay with notsawyer. Epignosis' suspicion of him has some influence on me, but overall I think this interaction is civ/civ. I think his accusations seem genuine enough, even if I don't agree with them.

2. Where you stand on Marmot and why.
Leaning scum on Marmot. His latest claim, that he was nightkilled but protected, feels like a) an attempt to look civ, and b) an attempt to draw out information from the baddies. That's why I countered him a little with my own jokey misinformation.

3. Where you stand on Floyd and why.
I stand on Floyd in the gutter, because that's where I assume he is lying, dead drunk or just plain dead. Does he get some sort of points for just signing up for Mafia games? I don't get this guy.

4. Where you stand on DFaraday and why.
I feel pretty good about DFaraday, but I don't know why right now. ISO 2

5. Where you stand on Quin and why.
Now both you and DF have said you forgot Quin was playing. I'm getting some alarm bells from Quin's direction. ISO 1.

6. Where you stand on thellama73 and why.
I'm cool with Llama now for reasons I won't really get into.

7. Where you stand on Long Con and why.
I don't think Long Con is trying to be out of the limelight. I think I've done some stand-out stuff. My Llama suspicions, my lie detector stuff... that's not blendy.
Then there's this post, where Long Con is cool with llama.

That's two posts that suggests that Long Con is a power role. Why is he still alive? Why haven't the mafia killed him?

Linki: Cool your jets dude.

Two different power roles. And that's not counting the lie detector stuff. As Mafia, I've been trying to draw out that last, crucial Civ power role all game, and they're just so darn stubborn that they won't counter my so-called suggestions... and so timid that they won't try to make a case against me. Even though they know I'm the last baddie.
