Decent guy. His play reminds me of his Mega Man mafia play, which I dearly wanted to lynch him over at the time. Some isolated things about the way he defends himself seem scummy, but just based on what I've read I'm pretty sure he's town. He does have an odd way of talking in third person, though.

I also agreed with his case on Juliets. I was already looking at her because of a post after the D1 lynch where she apologized like, really hard. Looked like scum guilt. I don't know whether she voted on his lynch or not, though. Light-to-mid scumread there.

Epi is town.

Nutella is town.

DDL... I'm leaning town.

Leaning town on Luna as well. I think I'm starting to get a handle on her playstyle. It's mostly a gut feel based on how snarky and up-front she's been about her play, in the few posts I've seen. Very transparent in playstyle, in her defense of Wolbre and everyone's reaction to that.

So there's a few. I want to read over some Colin stuff next, I think. If you have any suggestions for me to skim ISOs of today (tonight?) then I'm game.
Can I please have some of that salad.
It's a quiche, fool.

it is the act of talking about "regret" not whether he did or did not regret it

regret indicates a bad outcome.

If he thought that then regret is an odd word to use. Multiple scum teams makes this redundant anyway.

Do you know offhand what time EST that will be?
I'd like to have all PMs in by 9pm EST.

Many roles require feedback, and everyone is getting a movement PM telling them about their new square. End Of Night is a busy time, so the post will likely come between 10 and 10:30 pm EST.

Is it scummy ... to say that I like a post?
That's certainly one way of interpreting my case
Explain like I’m really dumb
man first post about other mans is "I agree with that man". Me no like. Me vote to see what man say. Me no give reason to see what other mans do.
Okay, so I was right the first time, got it.
Literally your first and only engagement with reading players was "I like Epi's post" and you didn't follow up or extend the reasoning or vote or anything. So, yeah.
Well, I did vote for DDL, so wrong on that count. And I don’t know what explanation is necessary: I liked it because it made sense and I agreed with it, which should have been self-evident by me saying I liked it. Or would it look better of me if I quoted a bunch of posts, summarized them, did some color analysis, crunched the numbers on the last 6 DDL games played when Mercury is in retrograde, and came to the same conclusion?

Because I’m not doing that.
No, I wanted to see how you would respond. Your response was shady af. I'm happy with how I played it.

Getting really into the game design, finally read all the roles, rules, etc.. Want a friend to have BTSC with that won't kill me :scared: . I'm going through the thread backwards, I don't really care about most conversations happening tbh except how awesome Glorfindel's playstyle is and how funny it would be to have him in this game.

There are two players who I personally like but don't like them in this game, I'm still figuring out why. Leaving it there for now I think.

All I'm really interested in is your reads right now. Whenever you can, I'd love to hear your thoughts on whichever players you're comfortable talking about. The gist of my issue with your posts so far is that I do not see many reads at all.
Ok no problem. I am talking to llama and Elo in discord right now but I'll give you a reads list either later tonight or in the morning.

Idiotic =/= bad. I don’t think he was fabricating anything. I don’t think that level of tinfoil gets faked in the heat of the moment. It was too bizarre and out of left field.

Of course, with two mafia teams there’s no guarantee that his sincerity would make him town.

Kinetic energy steered me in a different direction. Without finishing my ISOs, my net was narrow to begin with and you went hog wild on Juliets after she looked worst on my narrow list of observations. Maybe I just haven’t seen Super Sloonei in a while but you were all over the place yesterday. We’ll see how I read you once I circle back around to your ISO.

It's funny that everyone's treating it as a bad thing that I was all over the place on Day 1.

Mafia: A World Asunder - Night 1 End

The Blood Begins To Flow
The road ahead was blocked by a small landslide, and nutella stood, here arms crossed, debating what to do. She decided to just climb over - the pile wasn't too high, and she was in good enough shape.

Hand over hand, she climbed, slipping a little on the dusty rocks. She had just reached the top when the pile shifted, sending a cloud of dust into her face. Blinded and coughing, nutella lost her footing and tumbled backward, tumbling down and landing painfully back on the ground.

Dazed, she could sense movement beside her. Someone was there - but she couldn't make out their features through red, tear streaked eyes.

"Too easy," said the figure, running her through with a long sword.

* * * * *

Turnip Head grinned evilly at the sound of pained screams echoing across the land. Just imagining what might be happening was enough to make him chuckle.

"Something funny?" a hollow and dark voice echoed into his ears, and Turnip Head looked around, confused.

"What is this, some sort of Trick?" TH cackled insanely. "Not bad, where are you hiding?"

"No more tricks, Trickster," the voice admonished. "No tricks, no treats, just... doom!"

TH laughed and began to speak, but the voice continued, and quickly crescendoed. "Doom... doom... DOOM.... DOOM!!"

Turnip Head's mouth twisted down, and he grabbed his head. "OW, stop it! Stop iiiit AAAHHHHHH..!!"

He fell to his knees, screeching, until his head exploded from the dark pressure.

nutella has been killed. She was D'Abrutsi, a Civilian.

Turnip Head has been killed. He was the Trickster, a member of the Corrupt Remnant.

Day 2 has begun, and will last 48 hours.

Sloonei wrote: Mon Dec 10, 2018 1:56 pm What's your read on Sloonei? What's your read on anyone not named Sloonei?

That's not player salad. The "official" definition of player salad is throwing out a bunch of suspects. Not even sure what to call throwing out a list of town reads.
