That said, I think I want a Kate CW as being lone bea voter isn‘t going to get us far.

It‘s also not an unlikely pairing with Sloonei if the latter is indeed mafia.

[VOTE: Kate] aubergine
Huh? Now I'm really confused. You want me to what?
Have reads on display a tad more openly.
It‘s D3, we should be panicking or something. Plenty of time for slow starters to amp it up.

But every EoD outcome has felt largely random and the players who voted aggressively are being taken out.

I‘m open to the possibility that you are town but I don‘t see lots of efforts going on to sell the wagon you are voting.

p-edit: I‘m the bea voter, kate
I sorta disagree RE: Kate. I think she’s ramped up suspicions and has been more pushy once DH has subbed out than her early few days.

I'm really honestly making a good faith effort to play the new style more than what I'm used to. You'll see uptrend there was a discussion about OGs (Which i prefer to old school or relic lol) keeping your reads close to your chest. Also, I made the first multi quote posts I've ever made. I'm doing my best to follow the new regime.

This is the first time I've been exposed to a rainbow list. That is something that never would have been done in the past. It would have been seen as target painting.
I know I might sound like a hypocrite but you don’t need to change your playstyle for the sake of fitting into the ‘new regime’. You do you.
But I applaud the attempt to do so, and once again, I town read you even more because of your attitude today.

Thank you, I figured it out a few posts after. You are still in my mid zone, I have to finish my read. You’re safe from my vote today, though, unless some crazy thing happens like some baddie posts in the thread instead of the chat (which I have seen happen more than once lol). Even though it could be self induced I don’t like lynching people who can’t defend themselves. I mainly chose you to ISO since you were the only person who had a reasonable post count that I had no sense of at all.

That’s scary to me :nicenod:

I’m glad to see that Bea isn’t the only one who can post comprehensively with this insanity.

Sadly we need to get correct townreads on a wavelength to stop that erratic behaviour from being normalized and that‘s hard to do when some of which a part has to be town are barely playing.
Who would you say you trust most at the moment aka who is in your town core? I see the tinfoil on Sloonei leading us astray.
Mostly I trust flipped civvies :>

Realistically there‘s three wagons present and we‘d want a conformation that forces the febs hands.

I assure you that Sloonei voting me doesn‘t further that goal. I am not advocating to lim him today, but I have a strong suspicion he‘s not going to get NKd.

As opposed to Sloonei I‘m working with the wagons we have now. Or trying to.

They taste inconclusive. Somewhat like a block of cheddar with too many earthworms.
When you started this new era in your playstyle and what inspired it? What lick means in the game context? I know someone else asked but i don't remember your answer

Also yuck! :ohnoes:

Why are here only 2 votes?

Is everyone else in weekend trip? O.o
Keeping in mind this is 12 hours into Day 2, so first, this question isn’t really that pertinent, and second, coming from someone seemingly not paying attention, she seems concerned about votes.

RIP Fingers, now I read the results
Noted how Sig said her Iso doesn't tell much. I will read it too to check that after I come back at hotel
THIS post was made a few posts later after having that exchange with Wilgy

So let me get this progression right:
-‘I am here, reading the current post and responding to whatever it is’
-‘Why is no one voting?’
-‘oh no, splints is dead’

I’ve waffled a lot just in dissecting this, but what this really comes down to is (and I’ve played multiple games with Michelle but my memory is bad concerning how she ‘normally’ behaves as town)
-Does Town Michelle really jump in to a thread and start engaging with it without looking at the start of day to see…rules/restrictions/deaths/info from the host post?

If yes, then I think her posts look just fine. Her progression is there, and this case is a nothingburher (mmmm)
If not, then Michelle is making some weird attempts at being in the thread and is scummy.

As I’ve admitted, yours could be a legitimate way to play, I just find it odd in general. To engage with a thread before even *knowing* context or even who was killed in the night? It’s like waking up at your desk in the middle of a high school lecture and, unprompted, just extemporaneously answering “of course! Constantinople!” Instead of just listening for context clues in the lecture first.

I mean, what if the Host had said “everyone must post in parseltongue as their first post”?

You read sig as villager?
Sig:
Sig's ISO feels a lot like Quin's ISO, except that I liked it more. Most of it feels authentic, though his voting record sucks and I agree that it's not comforting to see him appear willing to coast today due to his posting affliction. It's soft, but I'll nudge him up out of the poe.
You bump him out of the POW because his ISO feels authentic, even though his votes suck and you agree with others that he’s coasting.

Thanks for explaining. And it’s not too hard if you concentrate. I mainly noticed since Golden made it sound like Bea made some massive feat of civvie strength by being understandable.

@Vivax i would agree that that NK is unlikely to happen anytime soon or ever.

I'm getting the distinct feeling that the mafia is gunning for me today. I'll be watching for a sudden switch to me late day, if they can get one or 2 civs to buy in.

I'm not opposed to switching to gman. Plenty of votes on him from people I trust. I'm also comfortable leaving my vote on sig, although I'd like to hear something from him.

@Golden I'd love to hear your thoughts on these 2.

He says words. His first 2 days were entirely forgettable and often even shruggy. Last night and today he started doing deep dives into ISOs which is more patented civ Sloonei, but here we are towards the end of the day, and he is currently sitting on Vivax, who wasn’t even on his radar for the day (at least outwardly)…for the lols.

He is someone I distinctly don’t trust but also distinctly am not crazy about immediately voting off the island in case I’m just totally wrong. I know civ sloonei is strong for town. I’ll give it one more day before I start pressing F for doubt.

I think the baddies were sitting back, figuring they could spend two days taking out DH and then maybe even Kate when DH flipped civ.

So there’s a little scrambling going on here.

We really need to lynch a baddie today. There are 3, maybe 4, people I won’t vote for, and I would rather not vote for the insanified.

But although I still feel GMan is not his civ self, I could move.

I'm not opposed to switching to gman. Plenty of votes on him from people I trust. I'm also comfortable leaving my vote on sig, although I'd like to hear something from him.

@Golden I'd love to hear your thoughts on these 2.
I’m gonna focus the time I have on reading G today but I didn’t like the content he did produce on the first two days. I voted Quin day one but would have been perfectly content ending the day on G-Man instead. Yesterday was obviously slightly different but part of my view on DH was his treatment of G-Man… someone he was willing to vote for when G wasn’t in trouble but not put any pressure on the next day.

I don’t know how much of the voting today is based on that stuff or his day 3 content… I’m awake now and have a good hour to catch up.

Oh, I see we are at 4 votes sig and 3 g-man. I should have checked the poll first before calling it a pressure vote.

I think sig vs g-man and keeping the vote tight between the two until at least the last hour or so is beneficial, see what happens if it’s close.

You can answer your question on your own anyways. But sig is afflicted by role, that warps things a bit with expecting a particular reaction from him.

My vote and Kate’s vote, ie the first two votes on sig today, were called out expressly by both of us as pressure votes in the thread at the time they were cast (unless Kate had left the wagon and come back later and I missed that).

Just to be clear: I fully intend to vote for G-man today. I moved my vote to Vivax to indicate that I plan on continuing to explore other options this phase. I usually move my vote around constantly when I am in Full Blown Solving Mode, but I realize that most people in this game have not played with me, either at all or in a very long time.

I am currently busy with work, but will try to find some time to look at his ISO before the day ends.

And yes I could have answered the question on my own but:

1) I need to prioritise my time; and
2) I didn’t look at the poll first to see that sig was someone it was worth prioritising much time on.

It’s not that it pings me that you’d move off g-man, I just don’t really know why vivax is the one you’d move to.
