What do you all (everybody) think about piling the rest of us in the hatch, leaving three people on the beach to pressure any beach-dwelling killers into abstention?
What is the advantage of that?

Reading this does give me an idea of something to look out for, though. I'll elaborate another day.
Could be a useful way to limit the baddies' options. If only three people are on the beach and one of them is a baddie, it would take a bold baddie team to have their Beach Body baddie take out one of the other two and make it easier to figure him or her out. I admit that it doesn't help much but it could make one of the two locations a safe house of sorts.

As the game progresses, we could also coordinate the location calls and stick any super-civvies in the small spot. One part bait in case we're wrong about any seeming super-civs and two parts keeping those players out of harm's way.

There are potential drawbacks (bold baddies, an indy killer unafraid to draw attention, misreading players, abstentions, etc.) and the game may be too small to try it effectively. Then there's the human element. "Don't tell me what I can't do!" and whatnot (I'm looking at you Locke).

Just thinking out loud here, really.

Crick in your neck after that sudden turnabout? Damn near gave me whiplash. Still, might be abit too obvious for a baddie to try. I'll look past this comment for now.

I wouldn't go as far to say as that I think this is a valid strategy, but at the same time I'm leaning towards thinking that this comes from a civilian mindset than a scum one.

I also had a thought that we could put our top scum reads together and sit everyone else in the other location, but abstaining from a NK would make that pretty ineffective. The mafia abstaining from the kill may work in our favour, though. And like you said, people just might not cooperate.

lol, what can I say, I play by my gut. And my gut says I don't like a plan that encourages one site where more people will intentionally gather, effectively making it harder to narrow down who might be the killer.

Hi all.

I am feeling ill. I will need to rest by the beach for a day or two.

But for real-- I am ill. Please excuse my crabby-ness or subdued play.

WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT!
We get it. We get it.

As for G. I cannot decide if he is trying to be a helpful civ or if he's being deceptive. His plan sounds like it could be a good idea except for the fact that we can't just put people here and there. They are going to choose where they want to go. And from my experience, I say most civs won't go along with a plan or agree to work together. There's too much skepticism/ego for that.

Wha?

So here's something I don't quite fancy.

Elohcin not buying Soneji's thoughts on G-Man, which were that G-Man might be forcing it with the tone.

Then Elohcin isn't buying G-Man and his thoughts.

What was the trouble, then, to dismiss Soneji's skepticism, if you're just going to bring your own?

This might be our usual shade throwing baddie Eloh. Starting with a vote here.

I'd say you're wrong. Singling me out for roleclaiming when a bunch of other people did it as well just doesn't make sense to me, dude. I, like, didn't try to force anyone else to roleclaim or do anything like that. I just didn't see a downside to admitting that I'm a vanilla civilian.

No I don't think you do get it. My son is gone. Someone took him. I'm not going to rest until I find him. Do you know where he is Eloh? Do you know who has him?

I don't care about G-mans plan unless it helps me find my son.

I will be looking on the beach tonight though.. since that's probably where Walt would go.

I dunno about you guys, but I think Ana, I mean, G-Man's plan could help us out, especially in order to protect guys who say they have, like, power roles that could benefit the civ cause.

I'm willing to give it a shot, and I'm gonna head over to the Hatch tonight. Jack told me to inventory the food, so I'm gonna try and get started on that. Plus, there's a record player.

Anyone seen Jack around? He's been kinda silent lately. Probably just went marching off into the jungle to go save our lives again.

Can't give it much of a shot tonight, seeing as you folks already have us split 5-5:

Beach Bodies
-Dom
-Scotty
-Soneji
-Sorsha
-Spacedaisy

Hatchlings
-DFaraday
-Elohcin
-insertnamehere
-Quin
-Ricochet

Undeclared
-Epignosis
-G-Man
-MovingPictures07

Or if you're the curious type like me...

1. Elohcin- Hatch
2. Quin- Hatch
3. DFaraday- Hatch
4. Scotty- Beach
5. Ricochet- Hatch
6. Soneji- Beach
7. Spacedaisy- Beach
8. Dom- Beach
9. Sorsha- Beach
10. INH- Hatch

I'm going to run some ISO's tonight while I have time. I want to see 1) which of you deserves my vote, and 2) where more people I don't trust are congregating for the night.

Oh hold on, you haven't declared your location, but are keeping tabs on the rest of us, G-string Man? How lovely. :smoky:

What's the hold up?

What do people think of Eloh?

Also, what do people think of pushing the button for a while, I'd like to record myself talking, mix it with some quality music and send it on a mixtape to sweet Penelope.

Contributing something more substantive to the game would be appreciated. Or do I need to borrow Eko's Jesus Stick?
I am contributing, brotha. It's keeping this whole game alive.
Did y'all all have a Lost marathon without me to refresh your memories about the show? I am kind of lost by some of these posts

As much as it pains me to agree with a Scot, I think you're on to something. Elo's suspicion of Soneji feels disingenuous to me, especially since she doesn't bring it up again in her later post.

Since I don't have any other suspicions, I'll go ahead and vote Elohcin.

Funny, I knew someone would bring that up. As I was writing it, I thought in my head, someone was gonna say, "ahhwwaa, Eho's being wishywashy". Boo on you! :p

G-man seems very helpful. I don't think Soneji was correct in his thoughts on G. But Spacedaisy's comments on G had me thinking.

Sorsha, I don't knwo where your son is. I am too busy wondering around the island for hours leaving my own to be babysat by others and starve.

I'm not totally caught up, but posting anyway.

Crazy Theory #1: Charlie, Kate, and Sun were all cover identities for baddies in Season 1. Both Charlie and Kate are roles that have been claimed. I trust these two roles out of the sheer unlikelihood that either one is bad again. That would clear both DFaraday and Epignosis for me. I'd prefer to see more (any?) substantive content from Epi but I find I'm suspicious of him far too often (like I am with S~V~S).

Were those cover roles randomized the first time?

If yes, then here's a not so crazy theory for ye:

Three roles are cover identities for baddies in Season 2 as well.

That's it.
