Golden drafting fail. Charlie is a civilian.
That explains a lot of my cluelessness so far.

The flash-sideways wasn't a bad idea, just poorly executed. If episodes 1-13 of season 6 were just Island-based action, with no flashes to anything, and episodes 13-16 were just flash forward stuff, Season 6 would have been stellar.

Jack should have died instead of Juliet at the end of Season 5, and appeared sporadically throughout Season 6 as a ghost, with Sawyer taking his place as instigator of the war against Flocke.

Sayid should have had waaay more screentime.

I'd sacrifice the following characters for more Mr. Eko: Jack, Kate, Juliet, Lapidus, Miles, Charlotte, Rose, Charlie, Claire

If Jack died in Episode 1, and reappeared creepily throughout the show, LOST would be better.

The show shouldn't have tried to be half existential mystery, and half sci-fi adventure action. It really should have just picked one. I would've preferred the former.

The Leftovers is a better show than LOST, and accomplishes what LOST set out to do in a much more intelligent way.

Thinking about voting Quin because his PM didn't specify an alignment. Also thinking about voting INH because he's wrong as fuck about literally everything except for Sayid. Leaning INH because how the fuck can you be that wrong and not be evil?

'Definitely considering' sounds kind of confident for a vote that's been justified by the lols. :suspish:

... I find G-Man's vote for Quin because he claimed Nikki to be questionable. I was a baddie in season 2 and Golden provided good cover as far as fake role claims. Why on earth would he give them shitty role claims like that this time around? Also, just because a lot of fans hated Nikki and Paulo (I enjoyed their story, it just was not very well written into already established characters. Plus Paulo was some excellent eye candy, if you ask me, lol), that doesn't mean they are baddies.

Well, they weren't acting for the good of the Island, in any case.

I agree that Nikki would be a weird character to fake claim. When you say you find G-Man's vote questionable, do you mean you suspect G-Man? Because I seriously doubt he's bad.

And Expose was a good episode, and the best part about was Nikki's death (I felt bad for Paolo).

I think Golden is giving us an opportunity to play this game at a higher level.

The name of the game is "Lost Again". Why do we keep getting lost? Maybe it is not just the players that are lost, but our civilization. We keep falling into the same traps, again and again, expecting different results, but still we do not find our way through the darkness.

Rationalism has failed. Empiricism has failed. What is left?

It no longer matters who is good or bad. All that matters is that we love one another.

That's a very deep philosophical question that I think it's beyond the scope of this game to answer.

I wonder if Sorsha noticed she had three votes when she was in here.

One vote on a person for a silly reason, ha ha lulz. Dropping a second vote on someone for a silly reason, not cool. Dropping a third vote, what baddie would do that?

I hope to see votes moving there or better reasons put forth.

So dropping a temp vote on Llama for lulz. If he takes his vote more seriously, I will too.

I never claimed to be cool.

Who would you prefer I vote for, SVS?

I feel only love and respect for you Sorsha. Please do not interpret my vote for you as an indictment of you personally.

At this point, I don't particularly know, the votes for Sorsha are the only thing to stand out to me so far. Who do you think I should vote for?

I just really dislike it when people put others in a lynchable position for lulz. Probably an artifact of when we did not have changeable votes.

Nah, it bugs the people where I come from too, and we never experienced unchangeable votes.

Put my vote on llama for now. I'll change it later if saving myself is a possibility.

For what it's worth, I'm in favor of tying up the lynch poll. Ties aren't mentioned in the rules and I wanna see what happens if there is a tie. :nicenod:

thellama73 wrote:Quin is the only one in this game talking any sense, so I am following his vote on Sorsha.
Huh? Why? He literally said there was no reasoning behind that vote. Why follow it? I think Quin is civ, but that doesn't mean I'll blindly follow his vote. Do you have reasons to suspect Sorsha? I don't. :shrug2: But I have reason to suspect you.

*vote llama*

Also, have you hinted at your role at all? Even if you haven't watched the show you should be able to find a quote or something from your character (just the superficial information Quin found about his character was enough for us fans to deduce who it is). I may have missed something though.

On another note, I don't think I've ever seen DFaraday this active on a day 1, lol. Maybe it's because he's especially interested in the theme and the roleplaying/references, but it still feels unusual coming from him. But I do agree with his assessment of speedchuck's vote. I could probably just as well vote for speed since he has the same problems as llama. And his only attempt at hinting has been multiple references to the smoke monster. Not sure what's going on there. :ponder:

I just realized the marmot isn't playing this one. Can't remember the last time he wasn't in a game I played and I've gotten used to his presence being more or less a constant (ha, Lost reference unintentional). Feels weird, man. :(

Ah, so you'd change your vote to save yourself.

Okay then.
