IIRC it came into play because you wrote the “guess whether a philosopher is in the game” rule as if it were unlimited, refunded the one shot cause it was ambiguously written, then prompted officially asking if Machiavelli was in the game as compensation for town angleshooting.

If there are so much ties maybe its cuz ppl are using both of their votes which have the same power? If u want less ties and more than 1 vote difference maybe ask ppl to use one of their votes as "1st place" and the second as "second place" for the same category? Idk
