We wanted to give the role checker some sort of drawback, so someone from Death Note with the Shinigami Eye Deal made the most sense. Misa would have made more sense thematically, but Light felt like the more iconic role.

Yeah, I actually figured Soichiro Yagami would probably get included if you guys went for a civilian role check, but since you're not restricting yourselves to civilian/mafia alignment from the original game (good move, btw, since that was unnecessarily restricting back in GoC '13), Misa or Light make at least as much sense, if not more.

Light as SK would have been awesome.

As for the spoiler poll, I put "yes, privately", but I'm personally not averse to the first option -- though I already see G-Man would be, and Golden and Typh might be too, so that's why I added my vote there.

Super out-of-touch with this game. I've only seen stuff up to me dying. Really annoyed that J3 dropped the ball, if he was civ his job was to go "Yeah, Fuzz, now that you mention it you're NOT unanimously town and a fantastic night kill"

Sorry Faraday, I killed you in the hopes that it would make me look bad. In addition that's such a great role for someone who's played in more than one game here and it just went to waste. My b.

That's how I felt about Mac. I thought Tranq and I would kill him (all Tranq had to do was survive that last lynch, and we would have). Probably shouldn't have been so tunnel visioned on using our money that way.
