This is ridic, I'm still not entirely sure what your case is. First it was because it was jokey, then because it was serious? I don't think this is a proper conclusion. In actuality, wouldn't it make more sense that at one point, 1 or 2 mafia members had 2 votes on them and the votes slowly moved away from them? We had a 5 WAY TIE earlier, apparently, which is...impressive to say the least.

I want to look at the vote changes after the 2 way vote and see if I can identify any patterns. It's day 1, however, and no one but mafia knows shit on day 1. But I'd be willing to bet money that a mafia member was steering votes away from one of them.

Whoops, sorry, I kinda forgot about this game today.

RIP DF. I've caught up but I don't really get all the hullabaloo between him and Matt and as usual I'm really not taking anything away from Day 1 nonsense. There's really no way to glean much of anything from that, and if anything I'd lean towards thinking the people getting more involved in the discussion are not the baddies.

Yeah, sorry I've been under the radar so far, but I didn't really have any thoughts yesterday since it was just getting started and I didn't remember to catch up until after the lynch. (I'll be gone all day tomorrow too but it'll be night so hopefully I won't miss as much discussion) otherwise I'll try to pay more attention and start to form some thoughts on day 2. Honestly even though my vote for Floyd was pretty pseudo-random I wouldn't mind pursuing him a bit since he also seems to have remained pretty under-the-radar.

I never said I knew, I just feel that it's highly likely. If I didn't, I would've kept my vote on DrWilgy yesterday and not even bothered switching to one of the two main lynch wagons. Scotty notes that it was a 5-way tie earlier that day, but to me the key word there is "earlier." I think the day ending with two very distinguished lynch options is indicative that one of them was saved and the other, rest his soul.

No lie, when my wife and I went to see Star Wars Tuesday night, there was a trailer for The 5th Wave. The movie looks like it will suck but the characters spoke of The Others taking people away. My wife and I were sitting in the theater saying Jin's "Udders! Udders!" line from season 2. Made me think of this game, even if it is only for Season 1.

Looks like the smoke monster we saw in the jungle decided to spare us last night. (Though I could have sworn I heard growling, like a bear or something)

Looking at the 5-way tie:
nutella and LC voting for Floyd.
Me and Wilgy voting for DFaraday.
SVS and Sorsha voting for Matt.
Typhoony and Bullzeye voting for LongCon.
Zebra and DFaraday voting for Wilgy.

Here's the breakdown of all the votes I could see from thread posting so far in the game (this is mostly for my reference):

Typhoony changes his vote to LC for voting Wilgy, who said only baddies vote for him (LC 1, Scotty 0)
SVS votes Matt for "picking on Bullz" (Matt 1)
LC changes his vote to Floyd because his posts had "much to be desired" but also?? because he wanted to tie the votes for 2 a-apiece between DFaraday, Wilgy and Floyd (Floyd 2, Wilgy 2, DFaraday 2)
Sorsha votes for Matt for taking his Bullz vote more seriously than earlier in the game (Matt 2)
Bullz votes for LC because a "5 way tie looks cool" (LC 2, Floyd 2, Wilgy 2, Matt 2, DFaraday 2)

OK so now we're caught up to the 5 way tie.

At this point, I think that at least 1 mafia member is hiding in the votes. We know it wasn't DFaraday.

At this point:
Epi puts his first vote on nutella because...her name sounded like a song in his head?? idk (nutella 1)
Floyd puts his first vote on Matt and breaks the tie on account of weak reasoning of voting for Bullz (Matt 3)
Bullz changes to Matt because Matt wasn't backing down from his Bullz vote (Matt 4, LC 1)
Typh changes his vote to SVS because he wanted to "test the waters" (SVS 1, LC 0, DFaraday 2, Wilgy 2, Floyd 2, Matt 4)
Matt changes his vote to DFaraday for self-preservation (DFaraday 3, Bullz 0)
Zebra (I think, it's not clear) changes to DFaraday because he is "more confident Matt that Matt is good than DFaraday [is] bad or good" (DFaraday 4, Matt 4, Wilgy 1)

zebra "is willing to bet" right when she ties the vote between DFaraday and Matt that one is bad. This would back up her reasoning that when Faraday came out as good in the lynch that Matt is bad. However, where she came to the conclusion that one had to be bad, I'm not sure. Just a few posts earlier, she had said

Matt on the other hand is 100% civ Matt.

. So it would be odd to assume, then, that he is bad because she participated in the mislynch of one of the trains.

LC then changes his vote to DFaraday, with the explanation:

I switched my vote to DFaraday. I'm not sure between him (5) and Matt (4), but I have no interest in tying it up or in letting a baddie decide which of them goes, so I'm crossing my fingers. Sorry, DF!

This is a very odd vote because his entire Day 1 has been predicated on tieing the vote. To then not wish to tie the vote as a reason to vote for someone when it's becoming 2 candidates to be thrown into the jungle? A little hypocritical, honestly.
Even more interesting is his vote 1.5 hours later for nutella, only to realize that he tied the vote again, which wasn't his "original plan", and he puts it back on Faraday. Once again, that sure doesn't sound like his original plan...I don't even know if he knows his original plan, or the purpose of this change.

Anyway, I wish I were around more for that day, but here's where the game starts for me.
I feel like following with Wilgy this vote since he followed me last vote, BUT right now my top suspects are: LC and zebra, based on voting patterns and reasoning alone. I also don't trust Floyd for his vote around the 5 way 2-vote siesta, or nutella for her double-standard vote reasoning.

I personally think Matt and Wilgy are my two civ reads. Matt has been literally defending himself since we started. But again, no one has answered me on how he usually acts in games. He seems very spastic, and I've just been chocking that up to his personality. But. if that isn't a quality that he normally has, then I'd maybe change my mind.
Wilgy has not yet given me a reason not to trust him, but I also want to hear more from him. I'm usually not a fan of buddying in games, but I feel like I can still trust him.

Do you still think bullz and svs are bad today? My suspicion of you is lessened today and I doubt I'll be voting for you again. Your defensive posts yesterday sound genuine to me.

@Scotty- I like your suspicion list. I'll have to review Floyd and zebra a bit more but I agree on LC and Nutella.

LCs voting antics yesterday aren't sitting right with me- especially the back and fourth on DFaraday at the end. It looks like a baddie not sure if he wants to be involved in a civ lynch to me.

After the way The Striped Crusader dismissed Danny Boy's 11th hour claim only to see him lynched and then immediately craft a dilemma afterward to string up Tuft-Head doesn't sit well with me.

Someone I want to trust is consistently deflecting any suspicion of Matt, and Matt is accusing me of being personal and saying I am bad becasue i suspect him. Awesome. I need to think about this. Becasue a consistent low level bolstering of Matt is coming from the same direction, and it concerns me.
