Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Day 10]

Congrats winners! Great play by Canuck, one of the best I've ever scene. I had to trust someone in those early days because people wrongly thought i was bad. i trusted Golden and that worked out great - he had an about face with respect to my guilt in the thread. But then he died and unfortunately I picked MP. I almost had to though because he was going so hard against me and convincing others - it was him or rabbit and I thought rabbit was bad. So MP did an about face about me in the thread and then promptly killed me that night. So I missed this great game. Congrats again to the winners and thanks for helping me Golden.

Thats ok MM.

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Day 7]

We do not have the equivalent of english afternoon tea in the US. For them it is between lunch and dinner. I don't know how they eat it all though - my guess is most days they just have tea and a scone and not the whole rigamarole of crustless sandwiches, scones and cakes which is the full english tea.

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Night 3]

Canuck, I think that's a very good analysis and helps me to understand what, besides the huge asset comment, makes her seem suspicious to some. For the moment I think I agree with you that it's something but not really enough for a vote. I will keep my eye out though.

I also thought your analysis of bf and sofie were very good. I am starting to see the spirited Sofie that I look for in games. I just think she's mistaken in her suspicions but i don't know why because she hasn't really explained herself yet.

I'm thinking about voting rabbit now both because canuck has me concerned that I misinterpreted her and because I don't want to spread the vote further. rabbit was sheer full ahead tunneling on day 1 and I have the luxury of knowing he was wrong. He usually has a good nose for baddies when he is good so I'm suspicious that he is bad this game. And where is he anyway?

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Day 3]

mp - here is the post that made me look at canuck:
Canucklehead wrote:So, for peeps who have been reading and following along in real time (rather than in sporadic and panicky and therefore shallow attempts to catch up, like me), would you say this is a more or less accurate (though obviously reductive) summation of the heads on the chopping block for today, according to the peeps making the cases?

Rabbit: Golden thinks is bad because he subtly defended Aces, has had heated "showdown" with LC
MP: Golden thinks he's bad because ?? Rabbit thinks he's bad because?? I'm lost here.
Eloh: Golden thinks she's bad (but is somewhat backing off) because she defended Juliets?? Or something??? I didn't really follow this case, need to look at it again
Sophie: a few people thought her low poster call out was ping worthy, but many others have her on a civ list
LC: rabbit thinks he's bad for reasons like defending BR and following Golden
Zombr: some people think she's bad for thinking Ace was an asset, many people think she's good

Is that it? Have any other potential vote getters really been brought up? Can anyone fill in the gaps or direct me to where I can (quickly and painlessly) fill in the gaps for myself? I read 17th century medical treatises all fucking day and FUCK if I'm now gonna go trawling through pages and pages of multi quotes and one line interjections and heated debates. Sorry. I just. Can. Not. Do. It. Today. I am a lazy mafia player today. I suck. I will try to get better.
But NOT today!! :noble:
She lists the people she thinks might be bad but she doesn't bring one thing to the table as far as those people go. She could have, for example, said:
"Rabbit: Golden thinks is bad because he subtly defended Aces, has had heated "showdown" with LC" I think the showdown sounded more civ vs civ myself.
The blue part I added as just an example of something she could have added to let us know what her opinion was, even if her opinion was "I don't know yet". She did do the "i don't know" with Elochin but with that and nothing about the others my point still stands. This is the kind of thing that makes me say she doesn't contribute. This would have been a perfect place to do it and may have helped us see why she voted you.

MovingPictures07 wrote:juliets, what do you think of my analysis and three suspects? Do you agree or disagree? Whom are you eyeing today?
MP, I was considering Canuck for that post she posted with all the names and then the summary sentence. I thought it was very odd that she didn't offer her opinion on those people, since she obviously paid enough attention to shortly sum up. I'll try to find the post. I have got to look back at her posts since then to see if I feel the same way you do.

Sophie seems a little low for normal Sophie. The civ Sophie that I know is out in the thread whoopin' and hollerin' about her suspects. She is very animated. I have not seen that here but I wonder if that's because she's been sick. I agree that I did not expect her to vote for you last cycle.

I haven't had the same vibes about BF as you have. He looks civ to me right now.

My leading suspect is Canuck but I'm going to do a re-read now to see if that still holds.

I have to go now, but I'll be back in the thread off and on until deadline, providing my thoughts.

Linki w/ Bass: Interesting you mention this because this was a point I brought up previously. I thought she mostly satisfied my answer, honestly, but there is something a bit still pinging me from her on a gut level, and I'm not sure I completely believe her. As I stated previously, I think the most suspicious aspect of splints's behavior was how she seemed very ready to hop on the MM train and then steered course to Zombies (that said, I did miss an explanation post in my original statement of this suspicion, so it wasn't a complete turnaround out of nowhere, but nonetheless is the part that I'm still least satisfied with her explanation). I don't think I'll vote for her. Lol, linki again. What other thoughts do you have, Bass?
Well I still find find Canucklehead suspect as well but I'm going to go with my gut and vote splints today. I wish I had more time to explain I will be driving home from the beach and won't be home till after the lynch. So I voting splints.

So - who - I always distrust LC. I just do. That's my gig not his. BR could have - BF could have. Cannuck has this stick where she's all funsies but she could have as easily as I just did. Same with elo - same with you - MM is a passionate player he could have thought of it too. See what I mean?

Re: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? [Day 2]

Yes, I can understand it would be difficult after a couple of years. BF doesn't play with us regularly anymore so I have no take on his game. I don't think I've played with him as a baddie and if I have, I've totally forgotten it. I want to give him the botd for a very non-game reason and that is this is his first game with us in a long while (unless I missed one where he played).

Aces has been very quiet in the games he's played with us recently until Death Note. He came out very aggressive in that game just like this one. As someone mentioned before, we don't know if he is bad or good in that game because he was night killed. I need to look back at the rules and see if deadies win with their team (or at least the bad deadies) because I would think that would make a difference.

I do think the first lynch was a civ switch, maybe with vote manips, and the second lynch was a baddie change though as i mentioned last night I don't suspect it was you. Your theories seem sound, I just need to play with them some more to see if I can see the other side of the coin.

MP, this would mean BF threw Aces under the bus. Is that something you've seen him do in past games? Do you think Aces would agree to go down the 1st night? I'm not trying to discount your brainstorming I just want to hear your thoughts on those questions.

You arent hearing the part where I said it was my opinion. There was something about the tone of that post that sounded like you reacted in anger because people were paying attention to what Goldne said instead of you. So, you just threatened to vote us. That's MY INTERPRETATION. Also, you are not taking into account what BF said. I was just adding onto his thoughts. I don't know why you're saying you think I'm bad because of this. It sounds more like your feelings are hurt because I didn't think about you being in the same position as me. Perhaps I didn't, and perhaps thats not fair IF you gave me the botd. Maybe I can give you the botd now that it was not you or your teammates that switched the lynch off of you onto Golden. This is the threat i was talking about. You're going to vote for anyone who "bandwagons" onto Goldens thoughts. So if we agree with Golden's suspects, any of them, and vote for them you will vote for us. Or do you mean you'll vote for the person who makes it a bandwagon...not only is it a threat it doesn't even really make sense. A senseless threat. And no, regardless of what you think I am not bad.

I have been trying to decide between canuck, bea, MM, MP or possibly rabbit. I want to wait on making a decision on rabbit until Golden can talk normally. MM could very well be bad but I'm not quite ready to narrow him down to Dr. Doom. bea I'd like to wait until i have formed an opinion of rabbit. Canuck I want to see a little more from before I vote for her.

MP has had a lot to say though less than in previous games. What really pinged me today was when he caught up he imo threatened anyone who voted as Golden advised. Is that what a civ would do? I don't think so. I also liked the points that BF brought up in his analysis. It is time to vote, I am going with MP.
