The LORB is returned. Having perused your offerings from the other night, I have decided to shine my light upon YOU, Bullzeye. I have granted you a boon. You will not know what it is until games end, but with luck you will benefit from it.
Since the only LORBS more Magnificent than I, DP & Roxy, have graciously allowed me to be here, I would like to see some words of praise for them. It may be in any form you like, but the more praiseful, the better. The next night I have a boon, I will extend it to the best praise of our Hosts.
THE LORB HAS SPOKEN
You may now grovel.

If so, welcome to any game I play
Also, my knuckles are bleeding and I may or may not have burnt some bridges, so rl and Mafia are going equally well tonight.

I've been away, Juliet. Here ya go.
And to answer your 2nd question, I voted MM to lay down a vote in case I missed the deadline. I'm not confident in it or any ideas beyond my gut read of Enrique before, and he is not an option.
BWT's right, I have gotten off to a very slow start in this game and I'm not sure when I'm going to start "feeling it". I'm putting forth as much effort as I can though.
On a light note, my sister had a ballin' 21st birthday celebration, mission accomplished.
It had a pre-emptive strike kind of feel to it, if that makes sense.juliets wrote: I don't remember MR answering this though it may be that he did and I missed it since I didn't really catch this point the first time around. MR, why did you call the BWT/Daisy/Canuck votes in a row coincidental?

I'm gonna have to vote soon, since I'll be driving out to Buffalo at 3 and don't wanna miss the lynch.
I don't love how Made immediately dropped his vote on me and took a vow of silence, but the discussion about why AP may have been lynched has given me pause in voting for him. I've never felt totally on board with lynching him in the first place.

Still on the fence about Made... Canuck's theory could be correct, but it could just as easily be a baddie Made, hitting the right guy to lead us all down the yellow brick road, maybe forever. Enough people have also expressed doubts that I have to cast my own in with them in agreement.

Ninjajujube, the implication is that perhaps Made has a civ BTS role. Since the baddies would have to be on crack to kill Made, i don't think this is a real target painting per se. Canuck is frustrated with you for your belief that Made could be bad in light of her theory that he is not. A Person, the dead Concorde, does not seem to have particularly trusted him, so there is that.
Linki~ Canuck, that whole "beating the head into the wall" implies that people are stupid to me, so perhaps the sight of it, regardless of context, gets my whole "protect the oppressed" thing all grrrr and sassy. Apologies.
The thought I had in mind wouldn't necessarily require BTS

RIP A Person. I've seen plenty of Civvie roles that can switch a lynch, and probably ones that can reflect a lynch once or something, so I don't find the situation to be instantly incriminating to Made. However, the way he has been acting since then is a bit sketchy, as several people have pointed out. I'm gonna have to say that Made will likely get my vote. It doesn't look like he'll need it to get lynched anyway, but there you go.
We haven't gotten Concorde's role revealed yet.
I'm wondering if we won't see Concorde's role revealed for that very reason.
I still wait to see if I could be wrong about that.
All I will say is, read those quotes between bea and LC and hopefully it will click. For those of you who aren't seeing it that is.
I still think Made is likely bad, but there you go.
Let me take this moment to hoist my ignorance on high for all to see, so that they may point and mock me for my slowness, possibly insulting my parentage as well. Oh dear and mighty Lorb, mysterious in your invisabulness, guardian of all heds great and small, I pray for the mental prowess that I may remember the plot of your holy film in its entirety.
In the name of Gob, achoo!

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I never said ONLY Made/Llama, I believe I mentioned you arbiting between Made/Llama as well as other players in your posts. I did a fairly thorough read back as I had to find the day 1 post that pinged me in the first place. I appreciate your response.Enrique wrote:Can I just say I disagree with the argument that I only ever talk about the Made / llama deal BS? I've been around, I've called people out, asked to participate, responded to most discussions in this thread so far. Maybe most of my posts have been in my own defense but I've been talking craploads and definitely ventured outside that bubble. I actually really needed this day break lol.
People that keep bringing up Hedgie... I think it's pretty funny that nobody ever talks about what the case on her is. It's like she's just a buzz name thrown around by people who want to act like they're all over this game. "Oh yeah, definitely looking at Hedgie's posts," "I'm gonna look back on the Hedgie case to see what's going on." But then there's absolutely no content?? What the hell are you guys thinking? What makes Hedgie stand out from the other 20 players that you're even consider her for a vote? Please enlighten me here!
Something something juliets. I don't trust her a lot, and that exchange with LC definitely pinged me some. Too tired to even think of specific points right now, just sharing how it made me feel reading it. It's reallyy late and I almost forgot to Mafia before bed, but here I am, up to speed again. I will go back on this tomorrow before the lynch. I definitely won't vote for her without having made a case before, but eh, I'm not really that deep into this. I've known juliets on IRC for a few years but I'm not sure we'd ever played together before? It's a lot harder to suspect someone when you're not all that familiar with their style. For the most part I've backed off the llama thing because people insist it's civvie llama talking, it's just my gut disagrees. w/e we'll see
Also fyi, I'm not sure if anyone else can verify, but it seems like Hedgie draws suspicion for something in many games I've played here. After (I think) Super Meat Boy, I now brush it off unless something really stands out to me.
I'd be interested in hearing some more insight on Jules when you're around again. My instinct is still on the low side of the fence about your alignment; but like I said, I appreciate the discussion.

I feel like there are ties somewhere between some combination of DF, Jules, Enrique, and/or yourself.
And the following post stood out for sure:
I'm open to watching a case get picked apart and hearing contrasting opinions, but I would be interested to see if Enrique can practice what he preaches here and bring other names to the table. Because all I've seen is him acting as arbiter between Made and various people. Maybe as a protective teammate? Maybe for vindication if Made were lynched and was civ? Maybe just out of his defensive nature (I recall Enrique being quite scrappy and holding his own in LP games )? Of that, I can't be sure.Enrique wrote:I have no idea whether Made has BTSC. Do we really have to go over this every other post? I simply don't buy your case. I could argue all you've said is "I think Made has BTSC," and similarly, I'd say that's based on nothing.
Maybe, just maybe, llama, you should try to be a bit less vague. Get stuff out of the way. Something like telling Made "Hey, I did ask you if you had teammates, but only after you got weird about it." Emitting that sorta shit doesn't help anybody, except you if you ever needed to backpedal. No, making it seem like he's straight up lying from the very beginning only makes him a likelier lynch candidate. You've got your mind set on lynching Made for hardly any reason, and nobody can do anything to change that.
OK, if you want that, you know what's a good idea? Bringing other names to the table, instead of simply saying "let's not discuss this anymore because he's bad and that's final," as if that was good enough for everyone.thellama73 wrote:Thank you! Rarely have I read a Mafia thread and wished that I could be LESS sober while doing so... >.>

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I will say it's incredibly different trying to figure Made out as another player compared to hosting him, haha. Having seen him play as a civ for an entire game, I don't really see anything that contrasts his play style, but objectively, there are a lot of things he's doing that would normally raise my suspicion of most players. :/

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Has anyone else read the first page again?
Only asking 'cause it seems like there's some confusion as to what DF's role was, as well as what MP's role could have done...

Re: Night 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I'm supposed to type out some synapses, so here I go:
Dendrites
Axons
Etc...
Ok, seriously though:
Day 0 was full of off-topic fun and whimsical entertainment. Dana was a rebel (Dottie) and broke the only rule so far, major kudos for that.
Later, some insane challenge happened that I'll likely drink a lot of booze to forget about letting the "nudge" voters down in.
On day 1, shit got real. Made rocked the boat, but failed to tip said boat over. People were very focused on sinking MP's ship instead. We slayed a monster, which was cool. Any memory of the thread after that is a blur, marred by alcohol. So here's a gif to describe the thread instead:
