Also [VOTE:

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 1]
Jumping into a different convo for a sec:
Lissa I get what you mean about KZA and I think it's an accurate assessment. I also don't think it makes him scum. I could be wrong - I only know his meta in a specific forum's context - but I don't think making him a D1 yeet again is a good idea. Give him time to sort himself; if he's scum I think it'll become more apparent as the game goes on.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 1]
My voters are currently:
Bronana - tbh I'd need to iso before I force a read here
Turnip Head - hard to get a sense of; I liked the feel of most of his posts, though I do find his casing of me...a bit simple - but overall still considering this a town slot
Nutella - just not at all playing in a pro-town way at the moment; overly justifying her read on me and acting over confident about it
dunya - apparently didn't mind me and also scumread nutella, so why am I seeing her on this list? I'm not sure what to make of that
tutuu - just sheeping everything with a pulse but very open about it so still a townread
Like, this is still nutella. Shading me but only voting me after others have done so? Add it to the pile of reasons she's a woof.

Turnip is doing it too, thinking he can read me off meta from like two games together. I don't even remember anything he did in those games, personally.
I'm finding this weirdly annoying, because I don't think these people trying to meta read me on little meta are even wolves.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 1]
I appreciate you seeing the truth of me and all, but can you stop thinking you have a book of meta on me? 3 or 4 games isn't enough to start making catch-all claims about what I do as scum 'every time' or whatever. Every game we've played has been within a different personal context of mine, and I don't think 'consistent' is the word anyone who knows me would use to describe my play across games as either alignment.
One thing I don't do is slank 'on purpose' as a strategy. If I'm not really engaged or motivated that's just it at face value.

This took 100 words to justify a vote on me for 'being not very present'. It's OTT.nutella wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 2:55 pm [VOTE: master radishes] aubergine
I think he and ted are compatible but I'm feeling slightly more forgiving to ted atm
The continued rl excuses/slank cover feels simultaneously like it should be NAI and yet also guilt-trip/"just give me another couple phases to skate by" in a slimy way.
My one reservation is I worry he'd have put in more effort to look legitimately solvey if scum (based on how he successfully pocketed me in the Covid game by looking supertownish) but if he doesn't have the availability to do so regardless I can't just give him a pass.
He has given very limited content and what he has given in the way of reads feel forced imo. My gut says this is a hit.
The last line is particularly smelly.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 1]
Like, I get it, I've done pretty much nothing so far. But I did explain in a previous post that this is entirely due to outside factors keeping me from being able to focus on this game. I am trying to keep up with the general gist of the thread, and I'm popping in to shitpost a bit for funsies, but I've just not had the time to devote to playing seriously yet. And that's not going to change much between now and EoD (the time of which I'm not entirely sure, but likely falls after I've gone to bed.)
I was looking forward to playing with a few new (to me) faces, so maybe this is the kick I need to force an effort in a bid to survive? But I'm making dinner, and then eating dinner, and then chilling with my wife, and so I promise nothing. Should I make it to D2, I will endeavour my utmost to do more. (And by D3 I should be gaining momentum.) If I don't, then c'est la mafia.

I also did include a little write up in my reads post, but sure, I can reiterate: I haven't decided yet. I can't say she's said a single thing of consequence and, if anything, is kind of exhibiting a sort of fake confidence on minor reads that I'm not sure I'm buying. But she's not done anything I'd say is scummy. I've never seen her wolf game so I'm trapped into not being able to ignore my limited meta but not having a full picture of it to compare this game to.

Some day. Just...not right now. Busy drowning in work. (I didn't think the game would start so soon.)
I can do lazy GTH reads if anyone wants, but they'd be kind of worthless at this point.
Townie:
Moth - because he just doesn't seem to care how he comes across
tedxtr - being insightful yet a bit cautious (in a good way) in his outlook on the people he's interacted with
KZA - meta read; we've played together plenty and he sounds comfortable here
tutuu - perhaps mistaking 'fun' for 'townie' but I like them so far
Townie I guess?
bronana - mainly based on presence; not sure I've yet seen anything that makes me slot you higher than this
Nook - slanking D1 is his MO; when I scummed with him he was in the background but always nudging things in certain directions on D1, and he's not doing that here
TSP - responding to a big post with just 'bad' is vintage TSP
Mac - seems jovial enough to be town, but nothing that isn't fakeable tbh
Hmmmmm:
Nutella & Sloonei - tbh I kind of want to agree with both of them; meta-wise, neither has yet convinced me I'm seeing the town version of themselves (but I'm not calling this w/w) - needs further observation
Marcher - seems to be forcing things
Carotenoid - seems a bit hesitant, like putting a toe in the water but not fully committing yet
Not going to force anyone into a scum read.
Not going to comment on anyone else even though I've noticed them post a few times, e.g. Lissa, Turnip Head, etc. If I don't have solid meta I'm not going to hedge a read until I think about it properly.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 1]
Swell guy.
Likes anime.
Was once a cactus.
Has a strong town game, and, in fact, is the resident expert on Canucks.com at finding scum in D1. (Lately, he hasn't lived very long after that.) Doesn't rand scum often and it is his weaker alignment to play.
Until Champs this year, where he was unjustly misyeeted D1 because of culture clash, he hasn't played off site as far as I know. Thus I expect him to come into this game...not hesitant or anything, but perhaps a little less sure in himself than when on familiar ground. He won't be able to rely on meta, which forms a vital core of his strong D1 reads on CDC.
So far he's been light and breezy but trying to poke a bit, albeit maybe not effectively. But basically he seems comfortable enough considering he's surrounded by strangers, some of whom have a bit of a pedigree.
(There is a bit of a chance his scum game will be better here because of those same factors, of course.)
