Well
then
I used to live in a cherry growing region, in Western Montana. We were famed for cherries & Huckleberries, and everything was cherry. We even had a local roaster that made a cherry coffee. It was pretty good, actually.
But that is how I feel about faux watermelon flavoring. I LOVE watermelon, but watermelon flavoring is gross.

I don't like other melons, they all feel slimy to me. But I do like watermelon. I think canteloupe is repulsive.

melons used to be my favourites fruits
I still like them but I'm too lazy to cut them up and mainly eat stuff like apples or bananas instead

My beloved only likes watermellon which kinda sucks because I love honeydew and do enjoy a nice canalope from time to time. I just can't justify buying one because I know I'll never eat a whole one before they go bad.

About the same size as honeydews, but much sweeter and better in every way.

I personally don't find this as a bad thing. There are easy and sensible ways to cut your food budget and still eat very well.
Unfortunately quality beer is not so easy to bargain shop and one must have standards.

So as part of my plan to ninja the hubby's birthday - I was thinking of doing a small brewery tour around phx ending at a suprise party for him at his first wife's (read bff) house. The first wife has more space than our apt and an extra bedroom so we could crash there.
This however is proving more difficult than I anticipated. I've checked out 3 breweries so far that we've not yet been to and 2 of them don't open yet.
On the plus side, I've added them to facebook so when they do open, I will have an answer for "where should we go today on our day off?"

That sounds like a good thing to do spontaneously. I wish I could tour some of the breweries here.

Yet ONE MORE REASON - why DC should be our next vaca.
I've been there twice and it's still not been enough time to explore everything I want to explore. It's my FAVORITE city tbh.
BDH has never been there. I want to take him there very badly.

The same general thing brought me here too. Maybe this site is some kind of temporal vortex upon which hinges all of existence like The Dark Tower.
Or it could be one hell of a coincidence.
Either way, howdy.
