48hrs before the lynch they decided on who to park their votes on? not very effective.

Tell me why Speedchuck is not a good lynch today.
He had early pressure/vote on Colin

I don't see much in his ISO that makes me real nervous I guess. I also don't see much that makes me feel real comfortable.

If nova is bad I think he is likely bad.
Soft point to lynch Nova before Speed. Lotta that from yesterday.

Check this exchange. Pro boards = btsc

Moving goal posts much? What I share on a mafia btsc and what I say on a game thread are two entirely different things and you comparing the two is scummy.

Talk about people besides speedchuck please.
I’ve given a read on everybody and an explanation for every one of those reads.

You talk about somebody else.

[VOTE: speedchuck] aubergine
Does this read legit? “K. Talk about someone besides Speedchuck. Oh, I was just testing you. Vote:Speedchuck.” Note I am bad at reading Bob and easily buddied. Bob is aware of both these things.
Honestly?

I forgot you made the giant reads post. I was concerned mafia Jack was steering the thread by making all the conversation about speed, then you mentioned the reads post and I looked at it and that wasn't a concern anymore.

The order went Jack case-> Scotty and TH rejection of case -> Nova ignores case (defends self) -> Wolbre jumps on despite not scumreading Speed -> Kyle meh votes Speed -> Marmot ignores case -> Choutas gives full buy in of Speed case -> Daisy ISOs Scotty and then Speed, coming up with this case.

Spacedaisy wrote: Sat May 05, 2018 4:05 pm Kyle I see literally nothing in Speedchuck's interactions with Colin that I feel are in his defense. He never once gave a case for why he was voting Colin. He never even quoted someone else's case and said, "This looks like a good point." In fact some of his posts look a bit like he could be trying to subtly push off of Colin imo.

Conversation is already going around Colin, and Speedchuck does a case on Epi. Speedchuck was pointing at Epi before this though, and I don't know where that all fell in the Colin stuff.

I'm gonna [VOTE: ColinIsCool] aubergine because he dropped this post and then left. The thread wasn't bustling with activity at the time, but there was enough going on that he could have offered a comment or two on something. I want Colin to say things when he has a chance.

I woke up to ~300 new posts and I have some grown up things to take care of before I go to work today. I sense that I'll be playing from behind early in this game.
Sloonei thinks his shield is bigger than Colin's shield.

[VOTE: Sloonei] aubergine
This looks good at first glance. But Sloonei has given us stuff to work with already, even popping in this time. His point stands. But don't worry, Epi won't pursue this.

D1 is purely conjecture on my part until someone does something overly messy to me, but Golden and Mac seem to be interested in leading the pack and being outspoken
This is fine of course, but the later the game goes, the more I consider whether they are just leading us right into the fire
"The later the game goes the more I consider whether" means you are assured you will be around later to act on this seed.

And the fire is not dangerous if you cannot be led to it.
wolbre04 wrote: Mon Apr 23, 2018 1:08 pm Dunya was really helpful, but basically a neutral leaning town
dunya has not been helpful, and you two are teammates.

[VOTE: wolbre04] aubergine
Epi gets onto wolbre for thinking he might survive the day. He also advises wolbre not to be led so easily, which... wolbre was already commenting on.
Then Epi makes a herculean leap in logic. If Epi's reason for Wolbre being bad is tied to Dunya, why not lynch Dunya instead of the newbie who won't put up a fight?
What ARE Epi's reasons for voting wolbre in the first place? :shrug2:

Don't worry, Epi won't pursue this.

I concur.

Epi lays low as scum, sure, but he's useful as town. Game has actually been going for less than 24 hours, finals for schoolteachers are approaching, etc. Epi hasn't been super active this weekend either, and has had company if I remember right.

I'm not going to lay a lazy vote on Epi for activity, and I caution against wasting your time with it today.
If I need an apologist, I'll attain an honest one.

[VOTE: speedchuck] aubergine
Other people have said I was wrong here already. Still waiting for proof to contradict what I've seen and heard. I'm not worried though. I don't think Epi will pursue this. (Although now that I'm being antagonistic, he might.)

Citation needed.
I guess this is content? People might be nitpicky about its absence, so I included it. I have no reason to believe Epi will pursue this, and I honestly don't think it's a scumslip. It doesn't make sense as one.

If he's still doing a thing, I want to help.

If not, and I wanted to consolidate, I'd vote Sloonei. I suspect Sloon more than Colin. (though I do suspect Colin, or I wouldn't be asking)

But what I really want to do is start some entirely new votes since we're only a fourth of the way through the day. I'd probably start with @Quin. My Quindar has not given me the genu-Quin townread yet, and I usually get that as soon as he starts posting.
Than he just votes Colin. No explanation. Prodded by his wife for not voting yet, and he tosses it on Colin.

Coliniscool, Sloonei, Quin... and I could probably find some others with an ISO.

I have plenty of time to place my vote, and I've been waiting for Mac to come back so I could pry about his 'plan.' But I'll go ahead and vote for colin anyway.

Scotty...I haven't ISO'd him yet. On one hand, I agree with him on a lot of things. On the other hand, he's said and done some suspicious or weird things. GTH right now says....oh wait, I probably can't say that? Let me do a small ISO post on things I like about Scotty and things I don't like about Scotty.

Won't be around much before EoD, so voting there now.
Lame.
I guess I wasn't explicit, but I was out of town Saturday-Sunday, which was why I voted when I did (and couldn't put any ISO effort in).

But give me a break man, I've been working hard this whole game, and couldn't be around for a weekend.

So you're lame. :slick:
I can confirm this. Marmot was in the wild and has made me jealous.

I think jack is distancing from nova and maybe speed. Can’t determine yet. I’m now convinced jack is only choosing to be “straight” because he has pressure.
who was pressuring jack
Jack was pressuring Jack. Sick of people assuming my Speedchuck read was a joke of some sort. Ready to see him strung up.
this is actually funny. jack downplayed the seriousness of his early speed suspicion until after the rainbow list. but when he was under fire, he coughs up the case and that sentence just seems like the opposite of what he's said today I feel. It was a lot more aggressive there.

why does someone defending someone who flips scum look terrible? that action in itself doesn't make a person look terrible. if everyone can read each other correctly, then the game would be over in a couple of phases, right?

and I don't care if you're 3p. I think a lot of us feel the same way about 3ps. In fact, if I have concrete evidence in front of me that you are 3p, I would actively not lynch you.

3ps sided with mafia don't even know each other. how funny is that. most likely, a persian-aligned 3p will always vote with the bandwagon. so I don't care about them. I don't have to lynch them to win. we are 1 mislynch away from LyLo. gimme persian blood today.

You think I was concerned about pressure from Scotty and Dunya?

Or that I had a case on my scumbuddy in my pocket (ie that my scumbuddy had treated me like 3P? Why would he do that?) and that pressure caused me to spill that case all over the thread?

This is tinfoil.

My vote for speedchuck along with my reading him and encouraging SD to give an opinion on him, which resulted in her making a case on him was 90% based on my assumption that Jack has used an info role on Speedchuck during night 4

I think you definitely were concerned about pressure from the thread or you wouldn't have come out of your cocoon. If I had people voting for me and making cases, whether I was town or scum, I'd feel pressured and start reacting. You did that. so to say you felt no pressure whatsoever from anyone because you never get lynched (sic) and just chose that moment to become an active participant makes me feel worse about you because I feel like you're not being completely honest.

I can also make the argument that speed's counterargument of no-u, you're bad, you're 3p, was just speed digging his grave deeper and giving you more ammo to lynch him.

the other 10% was that Speed was reminding me of endgame Mortal Kombat Speedchuck who was keenly aware of how far away lylo was when he pulled off a late game gambit. Speedchuck allowing himself to be bussed to activate his death passive and nearly gaurantee his team reaches or passes lylo isn't an absurd idea.

did you see the link Scotty compiled? why would Jack wait till night 4 to use any info role on speed is the question, considering he's called for speed's lynch and scumminess practically from day 1. who else has Jack done that with? who else has Jack actively hounded up until Day 5? and coincidentally, day 5 is the day he gets heat. seems convenient? I just don't like to assume everything is a coincidence.

I also don't like how he mentions speed's rainbow as the trigger that activated him to come out and make reads and cases. speed made a rainbow on Day 2 with pretty much the same suspects. where was Jack on speedchuck from Day 2 - Day 5?

these loose ends need explaining.

I haven't read anything I'm still like 4 pages behind.

Jack's sudden escalation in suspecting Speedchuck has no visible reasoning, he even said "I've suspected speedchuck since the beginning, I just started going hard on it starting last night" it seemed arbitrary, and the reason I trusted it was because of that. but there's a lot of things that don't actually add up.
