My biggest deal was how many TD passes were ruined by bad throws or flags. Sutton (my biggest play) lost two touchdown opportunities because of this. Had he gotten one touchdown, this would have been a much different script.

Mahomes reminds me of Colin Kaepernick -- decent skillset, particularly accuracy on the run, but not spectacular and subject to a sharp regression eventually. We'll see.

Mahomes reminds me of Colin Kaepernick -- decent skillset, particularly accuracy on the run, but not spectacular and subject to a sharp regression eventually. We'll see.

Mahomes is better, and regression will come, but that regression will be Mahomes' regression, not Kaepernick's. I still foresee the Chiefs being a SuperBowl winning team here. Mahomes is the real deal, and Andy Reid is one of my favorite coaches (despite the cutesy play calling).

I also think the Panthers are sleepers this year. Cam Newton is better without Greg Olson (wild, I know), and Christian McCaffery is amazing. Amazing and without a TD because his QB vultures every opportunity. That is going to come in handy down the stretch, methinks...
