I had actually changed my view and begun to suspect he was on mafia team 2 the way that today went down. It occurred to me that the biggest reason he was frustrated with me was probably that I was right for the wrong reasons - there are fewer more frustrating things you can encounter as a baddie.

I have lots to say now! So lets start with these...

1) The doctor has remarkable instincts. Well done saving Sloonei. You are doing great work, whoever you are.

2) Wildhorn/LC may have successfully corrupted someone (could be what the hoods were about). But there is no reason to believe it was sloonei. Sloonei was, after all, targetted for death my mafia 1, not wildhorn's mafia, and there is no reason to assume the two things are related.

3) My vote for epi was not because any of my opinions changed, although I was quite interested to see who would have things to say about it. FZ and hedgeowl delivered on that front. I will say, though, that my vote for epi has changed my perceptions slightly about cobalt and MM going after LC. There may be more to it than meets the eye.

4) Well done on lynching LC everyone. I was really hoping things would go that way because it meant I could come back to no feud, which is frankly better for everyone. But I'm still thinking G-Man is on mafia 1 and that will be the way to go tomorrow.

My suspicion was primarily that I don't believe LC would have come after me in the particular way he did if he were civilian.

LC may feel differently about that, but I really don't believe he would have. It's like I was saying at the time - I didn't believe there was any miscommunication, just a willful choice to make it appear that we were talking at cross purposes to do what he could to take the target off himself. And for that I say well played.

BUT - thats not to say LC didn't genuinely think I was on mafia 1. In hindsight, I think he probably did. He's wrong, though, and hopefully a G-Man lynch might go to prove it.

@sloonei - not only do we have a lot to go on on that front - we are potentially in a good position to start seeing people as more likely to be town. When everyone is baddie hunting in a two mafia game, thats a hard thing to achieve until you've caught someone from each team.

I will vehemently deny this. I have no such role ability.

My "information" on timmer in Flash Mafia was indirect, and also made based on an inaccurate role description. Based on the knowledge we had of Captain Cold's role, I had every reason to believe I was right.

I've never seen either of the musicals in the poll, but Les Mis seems pretty good from what I've heard, and I don't really know anything about Miss Saigon but it sounds like it's probably annoying.

G-Man seems to have no interest in defending himself, and it reads like a defeated baddie to me (or at best an unhelpful civvie). Speaking of unhelpful civvie, that's how I'm looking at MM. If he were bad I don't think he'd have such tunnel vision; this is definitely a departure in style for him. I'm still not convinced about LC being bad, either, so MM's sureness seems misplaced.

Even if epi himself was not that role, given that we know when that role is dead ties end in no lynch, there are very good reasons to avoid them. I think people who try to create ties definitely deserve suspicion in this game.

On Day 2, TinyBubbles votes for Long Con, due to a slight suspicion, and to save Cobalt.

Put my vote in for long con, because there are far too many votes on cobalt right now, i dont trust that thre's not a scummy reason to get him lynched (even if he is mafia). Could be a willing sacrifice, to call attention away from the others. And long can has been slightly suspicious from the start, though i dont know him fromprevious games so cant be sure its not just his usual style. He seemed an easy target last poll so i wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. however now there is no point, most likely cobalt's going to get lynched.

And sorry for not posting much. some posts have seemed kind of hostile, made me reluctant to involve myself. I am still around though

Either way it's fishy.. and yes, for the 1000th time im still civ and will be civ ALL GAME and if you think that it's scummy of me to reiterate that, you don't really know me at all or you're misdirecting.

One thing I can say for sure... I think my concept of bubbles/LC/G-Man/sig as a possible team is definitely wrong.

LC, bubbles and sig have all been far too happy to vote for each other for it to make sense.

The one who I most believe to be bad is G-Man, but thats the one I can't vote for.

there are a lot of silent people like sloonei said which makes it hard to get an impression of them either way, i don't like it though.
and epi's has been very quiet compared to earlier in the thread when he had a different role (if i recall correctly?) which is also making me wary

I voted him Day 1 and called him bad. I don't know how many others did the same, but my statement was uninformed, as I was out camping at the time, and I posted/voted without actually reading.

The posts I brought up about TinyBubbles just now make me less convinced about her being a teammate of Long Con. As I said, Long Con offered a good defense the moment I brought the idea forward. Anyway, I felt far more strongly about it on Day 2 than I do now.

I don't know. Maybe I should sleep on it. On paper, I agree it looks suspicious.

But my heart speaks differently. I painted the picture in as unbiased a light as I could so I could see what people think (if anyone else responds). She doesn't feel like a baddie to me. And it's not the constant claims of "I'm not bad", "I'm civ", etc. I can't put my finger on it though.

This? Well I know we accused a player of doing this late in David Bowie Mafia on RYM, and said player (who like G-Man was a popular lynch option at the time) ended up being a civilian. So I don't know if this sort of thing is addressable, or even needs addressing considering what you have already cased him on.

Still, I've stated my thoughts on your GamerGuy case already, but that doesn't make it uncredible. The points are still well-placed.

i didnt vote to save him, my vote wouldve made no difference long con already have 9 posts by that time and gman only had 5 (iirc). i voted gman cause he seemed the scummier of the two , he has basically a total lack of civ sounding posts, and i was put off by so many votes on long con, seemed scapegoaty..but im glad he turned out to be mafia, seems the majority's instincts are better than i give them credit for lol. and if i was long con's team mate i wouldve voted with them, he was a sinking ship and it wouldve made me less conspicuous

would love to get some more posts by gman now that he's no longer insanified and still a top suspect.he's probably gonna go next if nothing else changes

Great job! I still want to lynch Gman as well. I also want to review the thread when I'm not phoning it. I feel at least one of Gmans teammates would have kept the lynch focused LCS way hoping he would flip bad and they wouldn't lose Gman.

Yeah, I have the whole thing solved except for one or two words. And those one or two words hint at how that baddie can corrupt. Grrr I'll keep giving it thought...

I think I have the bit you are referring to, I'm only missing the first sentence. I don't think it gives us much about 'how' - even solved, the words seem intentionally vague.

I'm wondering what the unclear words are people are referring to, and if they are the words I found hardest to solve. The word before the brackets took me a while, but when I solved it I realised it was flavour text.

I wanna speculate on this again. I asked Dom if it was ok, and again, as long as it doesn't copy and paste word for word what you find, it will count as "speculation". So like, I know that:
-Wildhorn's team kills on even nights (tonight).
-He [could have] corrupted one of Merrily, Primrose, or Whistle.

Here's what I'm unclear on still Golden. When he selects someone at night, he does [something]. I'm still missing those few words, and even though it's probably vague, it might help in figuring this thing out.

If we can nip this in the bud whether or not someone already has been corrupted, then this PM can be null and void.
