tbh i think you're asking the wrong person because according to epi's analysis i was also "lock scum" and he painted me in a super negative light, and well, i'm not. what is clear to me is that epi was tunneling proto.

one thing that does make me pause on proto is how many times he's mentioned activity tell in a turn-around-way that could be trying to "town-clear" himself because he's a high poster. one reason i town read him is certainly activity, but when it becomes a conscious decision to "appear" townie, it loses the town-cred.

i don't think proto looks worse than alison or carot in rej interactions anyway.

Need you to explain your townread on epi again. You said you had a theory re throw stuff and see what sticks. Epi said no it's based on post drunk edit sober or something like that. Why did you townread them prior to the Rej flip after they expressly said your theory was wrong.

But also Epi is cleared in two ways now even if you disregard the other stuff (Rej's claim to protect Epi, along with Hally dying N1)

I mindmeld with so many things on Dizzy's readlist and this is like the second time we've had that this game so I'm inclined to just say Dizzy town tbh

on the other hand I do disagree with other stuff they've written (like viewing proto negatively who I think is super lock town...)

Like that is super similar to the read I'm getting off proto right now, he thinks Epi is scum so he scrutinizes every post from the conception that Epi is scum and thinks "so why is wolf Epi posting this? Is he trying to manipulate us?" etc.

I don't agree that you would protect Hally because you found her "lock town", but I do see how she would be a likely kill for you due to it.

I see him critical of you calling Alison "hard town", which takes on a different flavour when I consider our conversation a couple of hours ago.

I get very critical of you when he compares your treatment of me versus the treatment of the Soneji and rej. This was a powerful part, I thought.

Some more analysis of you and Soneji in the bottom of the second spoiler is very teammate-like.

Fair enough. I did read through their ISO and if I didn't read the role card and know for a fact they're town I could see how people could think they were sketchy. Tutuu seems a little all over the place in thier posting but I'm not at all familiar with how they play. I happen to agree on the suspicion of nanook. Not out of a no you type thing but from nanooks interactions with the confirmed aliens and prior experience with nanook on other games.
LC didn't like one of their posts and then tutuu got super defensive about it I assume because they felt misunderstood which I guess is understandable.

I thought dunya was a little more iffy than they did but I could see the suspicion on carot or mac.

Tutuu said some weird things or things in a weird way but I have a tendency to do that too and get misunderstood a lot.

Not sure what you are asking for but those are my basic thoughts in reading through my former self's ISO.

Epi, I am gonna rip into this a bit. dont take it personally, its on your post, not you personally. I also need to change my reads list, once others confirm you dont know Hally at all because then you dont need to treat them like a newbie.

The wordcount analysis is completely useless.

I have explained why I wouldnt protect Hally, i did math on it, I pushed it to everyone. Me not protecting Hally is entirely consistent with what i am saying what town should do. I also said I would shoot into scummiest people as an alien since they are unlikely to have saves on them

The thing about Alison, I assume you dont read too much into me having a hard town read on Alison. If not, let me know. They also had zero analysis on this section. Just said "dont understand - blast them".



LC was my number 2 scum on day 0. In my first post of the game. When Epi quotes me, these are my reads from Night 1. There has been a whole remainder of Day0, Day 1, and part of Night 1 between those reads.

So "even when you post more, it isnt enough" - what are they talking about? I moved you up in towniness due to posting more. Your posts at the time that I made my Day 0 reads werent towny, then you posted more stuff that I liked. How is that not a normal progression?

In relation to you and Epi specifically, I knew you guys are top 2 from HoF and I hold you guys to a higher town standard. Didnt tell anyone I was doing it (except to explain why i cant behind a level 1 Epi being town), probably not fair, whatever. I did it. I still kind of do it. You can read into reasonableness of it on my end.

At the time I made my "very very light town" on Soneji, that was on day 0. At the time, I think they had 1 post. Not 9. Epi makes this huge deal about a one liner read I made on one post on day 0. Again, wtf? Colourwheel/calculator comment, I dont understand but I imagine its something they find an amusing disparaging remark and not analysis. Makes some omment about common core math, again, dont get it. Assume its some disparaging remark about it being wrong/simple. If its wrong, they havent deigned to explain it or engage in it.

Do you think Epi thinks my reads list is entirely based on postcount? I dont. Do you think my town list is dictated entirely by post count? I hope not.

They then point to the fact that I am not 100% using postcount to determine who is more towny as there are inconsistencies with your postcount, Rej and Soneji and how towny I find them. like wtf. is this for real?

i think I have explained why I thought Epi is an alien at the time of making the post. They play anti town when it should be clear that town should be playing cooperatively. You said you kind of see the scumminess in how epi is playing as well.

they then say "nutella needs to be unprotected just once and I lose. All the math I need". This isnt any engagement at all and if everyone does this, town always lose night 5. It isnt rocket science. If my math is common core math or has mistakes, lets talk about it.

The second spoiler is a huge post going into some detail breaking down a one sentence read I made on day 0, about Soneji who had made one post. "very very light town" = partners. Gotem! Come on. You thought this analysis was good? held any water? On this basis, I can break down any post from any person, spin it in whatever way I want and conclude "this is a teammate, folks". Would that be good analysis?

I need someone to confirm Epi doesnt know Hally from anywhere else and then I can basically ignore them for a 48 hour cycle on the basis that "I dont kill new people as alien" is true.

Pretty sure at least one alien is hard townreading me, will just say that for now.

I feel like I see half the players in any given game slamming down hard Town reads all the time, starting on Day Zero. You committing to hard Town reads that I don't understand doesn't phase me like you seemed to think it would. Maybe it's the environment here.

I would be suspicious of someone giving hard townreads that I don't think the person making them believes in.

In general. I just accept that everyone judges things in different ways, until something sets off alarm bells. You specifically as well, because I have never played with you before, so I don't know how you usually play, or if these townreads are unusual for you.

Your playstyle in general you almost had me fooled in that game but I figured it out at the end. Moreso the way they each mentioned you similar to how they mentioned/bussed each other. That's just based off of me reading ISOs and in response to protos questioning me about tutuu. It's not like a full on case with fancy quotes or anything just saying I don't disagree with their read on you. That's all.

Fair enough. I did read through their ISO and if I didn't read the role card and know for a fact they're town I could see how people could think they were sketchy. It is impossible to read and process 40 pages worth of information. You remind me of my arch nemesis ted who would ask me a million questions and I always joked he was trying to mansplain the game to me haha.

I'm pretty sure dizzy was like bffs with tutuu and super town read them. Nutella seems to be cool with dizzy at the moment so there's that.

Reading through Soneji again I notice he also interacts quite a bit with Nanook, but not in meaningful ways. Also gives Nanook a "good look" for something minor in his first real post, but still puts Nanook as "still undecided" in his read list.

It's hard to read tone in text. I'm kind of dry and sarcastic sometimes and it can be taken the wrong way or gets misunderstood. I think that's what's happening here.

So you think Tutuu was sketch on an iso, but dizzy townreads them hard. Do you think thats weird? Do you think that makes Dizzy more likely to be mafia? Thats kind of where I am trying to get to.
